DJI Mini 4 Pro, Object avoidance test (and failed case).

- One significant enhancement in the Mini 4 Pro, compared to the Mini 3 Pro, is the Omnidirectional Object Sensing feature. While the Mini 3 Pro only had front and back object avoidance capabilities, the Mini 4 Pro can detect obstacles from all directions and, ideally, avoid them. In modes like Spotlight and Active Track, the drone often moves sideways, making it essential to detect and avoid obstacles on the side. I conducted tests for both frontal and lateral object avoidance, and also recorded video using Spotlight mode to observe its behavior. Unfortunately, by the end, I crashed the Mini 4 Pro and it broke. :-(
Mini 4 Proの最大の売りは３６０度の障害物回避です。Mini 3 Proでは前後のみの障害物検出能力でしたがMini 4 Proではどの方向でも回避する事が出来ます（筈です）。自動操舵で対象物の周りを周回して撮影したりするモードでは横方向の障害物回避は必須となるのでどの程度の能力があるのかテストしてみました。結局テスト中に回避出来ない場合があってクラッシュさせて壊してしまいましたが....
Even though DJI doesn't allow you on the team, just remember that you actually convinced me and made me excited to get this type of drone one day. So well done, and you did a freaking great job👌🏽

😢 The Mini 4 Pro is physically BLIND at some angle rear-downwards!
Try to look at it's sensors from that angle... If you can't see ANY of them, it just can't see YOU!
I hope you have DJI care . If so, I would show them that well documented video and ask them to replace your drone WITHOUT it counting as one of your included times of the DJI care agreement. The Drone clearly messed up and you should not be charged with a replacement. Good job making this video ! What software did you use to make it. Thanks !

What do you think happened? thought it had 360 Omni sensors? What settings on the safety tabs were you using?
Very sad DJI is not able to really do a good omnidirectional object sensing. Also that I cannot use the FPV Remote Controller in FPV Mode and I am forced to use the motion controller is a shame. And avata is nice but to loud so I am really looking for other companies now
As I have always believed don’t rely on obstacle avoidance. It’s not 💯 solid
More people crash it with obstacle avoidance than without using the sensors in their head they were born with.
