I've had that first volume for about a year and I've really wanted to start Knightfall, but it's such an overwhelming storyline to complete. Pete never fails to get me motivated to start something though, so it looks like I'm going to give this a go now!
That storyline seems super interesting. You definitely peaked my interest. I definitely nickel and dimed comic books / superheroes at an early age but then moved away little by little. But not gonna lie in 1966-67. I was obsessed with the Batman series. Loved it , super colorful.I was in kindergarten and then first grade I was super excited on Wednesday and Thursday’s they use to play two episodes a week here in NJ. Think there was 120 total episodes. I practically memorized them. I know the acting is corny , Adam West /Burt Ward Lol. But like you and Chris ALO stress. It’s a GOOD BAD lol. Great stuff PETE with this impending storm ⛈ ready to hit here, you brought me back to my childhood!!👍💯
This whole arc was very convoluted and I kind of lost patience with it when it originally came out. What I do remember was that it had the worst of 90s tropes: ridiculous armor (with the ubiquitous pouches around the leg), pointless violence, an angsty main character and over the top art with a million lines that can be an eyesore after awhile. But still, maybe it's time to revisit it.
Pete, a great introduction and discussion of the Knightfall saga. I hope you won't mind but for those interested in individual issues, they can check out a link on comicbookreadingorders.com that shows all the issues in the saga. That link which could be copied and pasted is: comicbookreadingorders.com/dc/events/knightfall-saga-reading-order/ Thanks, Pete, for bringing up this story which is a bit more recent than a lot of the show's episodes. Another one of those storylines that shows why Batman is such a popular character. Great show!
One of the best storylines from the 90’s. Really great consistent art throughout the entire storyline
I love 90's Batman art and chuck Dixon is such a great writer.

Great show, enjoyed the Nigh Fall content. This storey came out when I wasn't collecting.
One of my favorite all time storylines of the 90's by DC.
What the hell you have a comic channel too? Sweet
Great overview Pete! Thanks
Love this story. One of my favorites
Pretty sure these volumes contain the whole story. Maybe some tie-in issues that aren't there, not sure. Interesting series, I may check it out.
Great story, i read it at the time. I have the same collected volumes you are showing
I remember that "Needs Viagra" DC logo. I don't miss it.
Later on, DC published a 9-trade series, which I _think_ collects a few more issues than that 3-trade series. These trades are much thinner.
The 3-trade series was enough shelf real estate. I don't want to devote any more!
And then Batman left again and Dick took over in Prodigal.

Great storyline.
If this video gets 3-4 thousand views, what happens to Wild Bill?
Nothing...he just will wish he was on it! LOL

You can find them anywhere. Barnes & Noble has them, and Amazon also has all the volumes for sale.
