Great arrangement. And, given the catalogue of the Doors, don't think it so crazy to have this Robby Krieger song as a waltz. The Doors were into experimenting, and feel they would have loved high quality covers like this. Moreover, really like how each word is really clearly heard, and gets the lyrics out in front with the music, like the words that Morrison added ("Try to set the night on fire")...

Really cool version of this song, I'm reminded of a version I might hear in a Zelda game. I love how creative you are. Everytime I hear "Light My Fire" I think of their Ed Sullivan performance and refusal to change the lyrics. Request, can you do "Touch Me" also by The Doors? I'm curious to see how you'd do that, as what makes it interesting is that it blends traditional pop with rock music which was really experimental for its time (I know that Bobby Darin did that in 1960 with "Beyond The Sea" but the differences between rock and roll pop weren't as pronounced as they were in 1969). Another idea is "Go Now" by the Moody Blues from 1964 (the first prog rock song) or "Teenage Love" by the Five Chesternuts from 1958 (first Merseybeat song).

sounds to broadway and put on. sing like it comes from the heart girl. i think it would be better as reggae/funk personally. and 1.5 speed is better.

I’m glad that many people enjoyed this performance because I did not. It’s just not my cup of tea. Although if I were at a ball and this was played I’m sure I’d enjoy it. This is going to be a hard pass for me. Nice work and very creative execution.
