I don't believe it. In my experience, Stanford Medicine has awful patient care. I spent 25 years in the engineering world and became used to really smart, creative and curious engineers that knew how to solve problems. My experience is all the Stanford doctors I've seen have what seems like specialty blinders on and avoid creativity while appearing to do rote lookup of conditions based on symptoms they recognize while ignoring the bigger picture. Then they take out their prescription pads and give a worthless ill thought out drug. Its bad. Stanford should be an academic center of excellence - but no way! They are fighting with Kaiser for the worst care as I experienced them both. Just one person's view. I know they all went to medical school and took basic physiology but they quickly forget it all for a nice 9 to 5 job while Stanford's management refuses to encourage real customer care or even concern. Its so sad. Even David Entwhistle and patient relations don''t care.
