- I spent the 4th of July backpacking 45 miles through the Yosemite Wilderness for 4 days, alone. It was truly one of the most amazing and exhilarating experiences I've had in a long time. My route took me through Ireland, Fletcher, and Vogelsang Lakes. Plus many others along the way!
This video is an ode to those moments and a reminder to live every day like it's the last.

Fantastic video! Really it
very relaxing
excellent video
Just one word; Mesmerizing ❤❤❤
Thank you 🙏🏽
Amazing vibes! Love the shots and colors
That intro was incredibly cinematic, I love how it perfectly captured that feeling of early dusk l, the kind you always think of when you've gotta get up early to go to the airport.
Also mad respect getting all of those shots knowing you've gotta then walk back for the camera and (I assume) some sort of tripod. If so what one did you use?
Haha. I probably walked an extra 10 miles just backtracking for the camera 😅. I used some old really cheap travel tripod that I’ve owned for like 10 years. It’s not great but it cost $50 or something. I think Siriu makes something comparable nowadays.
Fantastically captured surroundings, thumbnail is gorgeous here but one thing here is especially unique and that is picture quality. Simply outstanding! 😮🔥🔥
Thank you for watching!!
Very beautiful locations. Nice video
Thank you!
That's a wonderful video of your outdoor adventure in Yosemite. Looks so beautiful out there, I really would love to shoot a solo hike there one day. Great work Timmy, I really enjoyed being out there, following you on the trail, so I will do so as well here on YT ;) Have a wonderful week man.
Heck yeah! Thanks for watching Mario. It was gorgeous out there.
Man this was beautiful. Thanks for taking me with you. Definitely gonna have to try no ND filter on my next trip
Surprisingly I actually didn’t bring my ND filter for this video! I forgot it at home so I ended up stopping my aperture down to like f/18-22 for most of the shots. It worked incredibly well because it made sure everything in the shot was in focus
relaxing video. great colours. good camera.
Hi Timmy! Big fan here! Love you stuff! May I ask if you have an instructional yt video that shows your exact settings in slog2? please Im dying to know. Thanks!
Thanks Joseph! Check out my Exposing SLOG-2 and "The KEY to SLOG-2" videos. I go over my settings there but it's nothing special. Just the standard PP7 settings. It's all in the grade!
Beautiful frames brother 🖤💯 by the way I would like to know how you are exposing slog 2 for Phantom luts?
This was with my Sony a7iii so I was doing my standard 1.7-2 stops of overexposing
Beautiful video and locations! Did you used manual focus for the shots when you filmed yourself? Any tips for the best settings? Best
I did shoot manual focus. My shutter speed was mostly 1/50 and frame rate was 24fps. I didn’t bring an ND filter because I wanted to test high apertures so the f/stop ranges from 11-22 at times
@@TimmyLodhi Thanks, great insights! I'll try these tips even more : ) Best and keep up the good work!
please share me how to colour grade...
Filmed in 4:2:2 ?
8-bit 4:2:0
What phantom lut did you use?
Slog2 - Neutral and then I added my own additional grade on top
