Dettol actually say that you can put 30ml in your bath, “to feel refreshed and really clean”. It was a big thing in the 80s. A whole generation of kids raised on Dettol baths.
of course its cleaning better than anything, steam cleaning is for clothing and impossible to reach tight micron level situations, so shhhh to you. I shush you.
@@eewilson9835not so… Bissell used to claim their steamer would sanitize but that claim was tested and proven wrong. In order to sanitize the temperature and time have to be more than a small steamer is capable of.
It is beneficial, the "bugs" aka micron big microcosmos bad bacteria is pushed around, mutilated, and killed. Call it relocating or decimating, but sanitizing YES it does in its own special way, arguing words is a waste of time, don't you all have some cleaning you could start right now, so get your steaming irons out, and get that Bissel steamer goin. I agree with Allison. We dont like cleaning or want to be a cleaner. We fear that its not cleaning. I get overwhelmed when the house is not clean. Im not diagnosed OCD but since i married to a ADHD husband i noticed i have OCD symptoms. The more i clean the worse i get. Also i wish i could put our christmas tree away the day after christmas.😂 but my hubby wouldnt let me. Also it took me 3 to 4 hours to decorate the tree and i thought that is bad enough but that guy took him a day?!!!
I knew a girl who spent the whole day decorating her tree even though she was a busy mum she took everything off the tree up to four times just to get it ‘right’, my decs are just about thrown on.
Same here 😂 I’d go absolutely crazy with how Christmas trees are done in the states and in the UK. We live in the UK but both from other parts of Europe where the Christmas tree is only decorated on the 24th of December. We also agreed that we don’t want to start the New Year with Christmas decorations so I only have to deal with it for a week 😂
@@jemmajames6719 Are you sure your not talking about me 😛 i am exactly like that. Well i use to be i put my white tree up on a friday night just my tree and fluff it like crazy. Saturday i get up and make sure its fluffed good and start decorating. It takes me about 6 hours to do but i have worked out now how to do it good it takes me like 4 hours and only on a Saturday. I have OCD and use to pull it down like 3 to 4 times before christmas to get it right
My tree takes all day. I have an artificial 7 ft tree and I collect holiday and special baubles. I have a tinsel ornament that my 40 year old daughter made at primary school and it goes up every year. It probably has 200 baubles on it when I am finished. I couldn't bear those plain baubles they are so boring.
Could you imagine taking all of those off and washing them all over and over again. I have a 7ft rotating tree and i can tell you i for one when its all set up will not be touching it till it bloody comes down lol
Our tree has ornaments that my son has made and each year we buy new special ornaments. They are usually something related to what happened that year or one of my sons new interests. When he gets older I’ll offer him the ornaments relating to him for his own tree if he wants them. We do have some of the ball ornaments just cause we put up a huge 14-16’ tree.
Their immune system, must be very low, as germs build up your immunity. Bleach and all those chemicals , are very bad for the body. The best natural cleaner, is a bowl of hot water, with some lemon juice, a few spoons of bread soda and vinegar.
The air we breath in, water we sink and bath in, the highly processed food we eat, the environmental pollution seeping into the soil and foods we grow, the hygiene products,.cosmetic products, gas powered cars, microplastics, etc, etc are all poisoning us. I'll take cleaning products over everyday poisons. At least our living space is clean, which improves breathing and lessens allergens and asthma.

I feel like I'm on the road down to OCD at the moment, I obsess over some things and it slowly spreads to more parts of my house😅 And watching this show I look at the Cleaners and sometimes my head is like: yeah that sounds good, you should do it this way 😂
I know, and read the other comments, people saying its not worth it being clean. And sure, there is a balance, but people get so comfortable in filth they are breeding new strains of the black plague, its disgusting.
My house is clean and beautiful, but i wasn't raised that way, and i find people who clean "too much" absolutely annoying and pathetic. It bores and angers me. I like things neat and organised but there is a limit. Keep it clean and then a quick wipe once in a while will do! Get a life!
Omg. Not too many things shock me that I would gasp out loud, but when she licked that toilet!! That is just fowl. Speachless!
*Why did they stop creating this show??? It was my favourite show.*

Since this episode is 8 years old, I highly doubt it.
I’m sure I’ve seen Lynsey on This Morning promoting here lifestyle / cleaning.
Absolutely wonderful.
Amanda’s just wasted time and steamed the air when she could have just used the spray.
