Amyl and the guys are easily one of the best bands around. Totally in love with the chick, esp now that I see how sweet she is. I hope they are proud of how good they are and how happy their music and live shows make people feel.
Impossible not to fall in love with this band... the genuineness of every person and the total disregard for elitism is so refreshing! And shite who doesn't love our Kylie, like seriously... ;)
I always liked Australians very well, educated and low profile like the English. I wish you all the best. Greetings from Argentina. Siempre me cayeron muy bien los australianos , educados y perfil bajo como los ingleses. Les deseo todo lo mejor. Saludos desde Argentina.
@sayvar44 Cool! I hadn't heard that one. The vocals reminded me of 'The New Bomb Turks'. They're an awesome American garage punk band that rocks full-bore on almost every song. 'Pissing Out The Poison' is a great album to start with. 'Destroy-Oh-Boy!' is great too.
Nick Cave, ACDC - two notable acts that are missing off this list......I love her energy, on stage, she's demented like Iggy Pop, off stage she has a positive shy sweetness about her.
I like this band and like the fact they are bringing back mullets mean they can only be Australian. I saw The Vines on their first tour before Craig’s issues when they were great.
Aussie bands seem to be taking over punk rock right now, and maybe they have been for awhile, but it's only recently that I became aware. They are fantastic, full of energy and humor!
@@klausrain111 It's good they're still doing it, but Aussie have been cranking out some great punk rock for years. Just look at the Cosmic Psychos and The Hard Ons. Plenty of others to look at as well.
I'm starting to see more in faces of people of different countries. And I am seeing Australian people actually have a look that says they're Australian. It's a new super power.
All borders influence genetics, so yeah. Obviously, it’s not likely to be extremely pronounced in cosmopolitan areas, but ultimately the number of people going in and out of an area will show up in facial markers.
You'd think Amy would be grumpy, rude and hog faced, taking into account the lyrics she sings, but she's actually polite, sweet and always with a smile on her lips. Amazing gal.
They should've shown them AC/DC, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and Wolfmother. Oh and what about Silverchair. Just saying those were all pretty iconic musicians from Australia. Oh bloody hell what do I know

Very refreshing to see rockers just having fun without being angry or hateful the Sniffers are tuff sweet hungry and beautiful

Utterly unpretentious, friendly, just lovely chaps who just so happen to make the best punk music of the decade
I agree!
Lol. “Punk”. I’ve literally seen boy bands with more punk credentials than this lot.

I love how they gave high regard for INXS and Midnight Oil. Those were bands I also grew up with back in the 1980s.
This group is awesome. I'm 60 , I put on Hertz and jump around like I'm 13 . Love um. Rock lives on.
Thanks for completely restoring my faith in the future - so cool ❤

Check out The Saints. I think 'Stranded' was one of their bigger songs. They formed in Brisbane in 1974. That's right, 1974!

Have Nick Cave and AC/DC been on ‘Later with Jools Holland’?

Aussies ! As a Canadian I feel a kinship to those fun, unpretentious rockers from way down.
I'm so impressed they picked everyone of those Artists immediately. There was at least 2 tough ones & they picked them immediately
This band fucking rocks!
Staying on board with this one.
They have good energy, I wish them the best
This band is ridiculously good.
I mainly watched to see if they showed Radio Birdman... they didn't.
The best new band since years
