🦓 ZORSE INFORMATION 🦓 Zebra hybrids are much different then other equines. They think and respond differently to training. You can’t breed or train the wild instincts out of them so it’s something you always have to work on. Zorses are extremely sensitive and flighty animals. They like to think on things and make sure what your asking will not harm them. A lot of times their first answer to things is oh heck no until they realize what your asking is ok. They need a Super patient and dedicated handlers. knowledgeable equine handler is a must, would not be for a beginner. A handler who will think outside the box of typical horse training techniques and really break things down for them. If you want an animal that is good I’m broke in 60 days then this is not the animal for you. Building their trust and getting them far in training will take a lot. Pushing them over their limits will result is an explosive over reactive animal. Zorses are extremely smart and can be rewarding to work with for the right handler. You can really learn a lot from them and think about your training differently. BUT They are definitely not an animal for everyone, not many will mix well with their mind set. At the end of the day you have to be ok with an animal that might not reach the level of training to get to the point of riding. Not all Zorses have the right mind set to be ridden. Please don’t think you can run out and just buy any zebra to start breeding to your mares. Not many will cross breed and they are known of being aggressive. For your mares sake you will not want to just buy any zebra stud and toss him out with mares it could go really badly. Due to their breeding language differences zebras will punish horses for not acting or smelling the way he thinks they should. Lots of things to consider before considering breeding for these guys. Proper homes can be really difficult to find on top of it.

I would like to know how it is training her. Maybe a bit harder from the zebra wild side ? Or maybe not. I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ but sure would love to try also !
