Starmer was in Washington in less than a week of becoming Prime Minister. You could argue that he had more important things to attend to.

Years ago I would naturally cut Emily Maitlis some slack, but her treatment of the Hungarian Minister because of their policy on Islamic immigration opened my eyes.
