Keith I’m Brent owner and operator of IKON Outdoor Solutions. I have been following you for sometime. I swear it’s like you are describing my lifestyle. Man this is very scary. I just brought a new mattress literally yesterday! In the process of buying a new truck because of same reasons stated “broke down trucks”. No sleep always studying and educating myself. Etc. You basically explain my lifestyle. Thank you for all you do!!! May god continue to bless you and protect you at all costs! You are the best!!! Happy Holidays to you and your family !!!!

I felt I would be immune to my lifestyle creeping up, but I have not been. I was a custodian for 15 years earning at the peak 40,000/year. This year I will take home 200k (And growing 30% per year). Yes, I did invest 50k towards investments/retirement, but a 4000+ square foot house, eating out all the time etc creeped up on me.
I have had a less stressful, less physically demanding year than I have in the last 5+ years. Having management in place to help run things is glorious. My company is finally where I intended it to be. Anyone willing to educate themselves and put in the years of grinding can build something good.

I plan to live to 110 years old. 83 years to go, woohoo! Having that extra cushion in the bank and no debt is comforting.

I have been listening to you for years. Everything you say is Gold.
I raised my two kids broke with a college education. Now I am building myself an empire to be proud of. It takes a lot of drive and belief in yourself but it is so possible. I own Moving Forward Foreclosure Cleanouts in Phoenix, Arizona.
We specialize in property cleanouts, extreme situations hoarding situations and so on. We also are partners with Resupply donation pickups.
I just want to say thank you for sharing all your knowledge. You are simply amazing! You and your wife make this the best Christmas and new year ever.
And of course make today amazing and never stop moving forward.

You motivated me to start my landscaping business in 2016. I still have the used truck from that year and it cost me $3550 in repairs last week just so I can get through this winter plowing. I’ve had enough with not having the courage the couple of years to upgrade to a new truck. I’m going to take the plunge before the spring starts and buy a new truck for the piece of mind alone as you said. I can afford it now and want to represent the company with the class I know it deserves now…I appreciate your inspiration! You’ve been an incredible mentor for me. I truly can’t thank you enough!!

  • @AWgardens

BOOM. awesome video thanks Keith! I'm in a very similar place here, one thing i decided this winter, rather than try and get winter work and force it, I've just let it be, I'm focusing on my health and my family. I went out for a bike ride for the morning into some beautiful countryside, i fond cardio exercose a great way for straightening my mind out and dreaming/planning the future. My thoughts for when I'm in a better financial situation, I'll take the family skiing in the winter and restore my mind and body so I'm in the best condition for earning in the better weather in the UK. P.s. i had the same issue with my vehicle this year. Faulty transmission. Weeks in and out the repair shop, stress, rearranging work. New van is in the plan for the next year. All the best and Happy Christmas! Andy

@@keith-kalfas was singing just the two of us by will Smith to my 5 month old. Grew up without my father and I started telling my wife that I would just cry when I listened to that song. I lost all composure for an hour or so. Crazy how much an absent father and a song can affect me like that

Dude Jesus blessed us this year bro. My wife and I continually prayed , probably for 2 years straight I'd say , and we just kept saying to the Lord it shouldn't be this hard , It shouldn't have to be this hard . And then the sudden, literally in the snap of the finger three days later from the last time we prayed, , I went from doing small little repairs, to landing a ridiculously huge remodeling job for a gas company , and they literally want me to remodel the entire house . And I mean everything . And they don't care what it costs , They just want somebody that they can trust in the house , because they can't be there , and they want to know that the work is done right . And that's where my Google page and my reputation proceeded me , and already having everything else in place for my business is what allowed me to get this . All those other things you talk about on your channel are so important . When that golden nugget comes down to conveyor belt and presents itself, you have to be ready to snatch it . I went from making 25k a year doing small repairs to $125k this year and I've been paying up all my bills, had a nice Christmas , helped some others so that God continues to bless us but most of it we have socked away. Cuz I know first hand that s*** can be snatched out from underneath you with the quickness. Finally just got approved for a real card processing company, not square or QuickBooks, a REAL card processing company so I can run large transactions 20k with no issues. God works in mysterious ways sometimes bro. Sometimes God will give you exactly what you want, he will throw everything at you all at once and say okay, You really wanted that bad? Let's see if you can handle it. I been doing my best to handle it. Also gives me the opportunity to line up all the calls that are coming in for after I'm done with this remodeling project, so that I can keep my schedule full and the money rolling in. Ppl don't realize how much work actually goes into making over 100k a year being the owner operator of your own company with only part-time help for certain projects. Merry Christmas bro. I hope your family is doing well.
