    I do only commercial buildings no residential. This December even though I am on page 1 of Google has been brutal. One call in 3 weeks. I did a few post card mailings . Spent a couple of grand. Followed all the rules .. Nothing. Right now people are really tight with their money. I am not alone other business owners I talk to are reporting the same thing.

    Thank you so much Kieth! I’m an owner of a plumbing company in my first year of business and I watch your vids daily to pump myself up for what ever comes my way! I worked for companies that used my skills for their benefits and I said enough is enough I’m the one who’s going to profit now for my hard work! You wear your heart on your sleeve and inspire me daily. Thank you so much for all that you do. You truly are making a difference in my life!

    That’s where I feel like I am in my business. I raised the prices tremendously at least in my brain it was tremendous 😂 and it worked I made more money but I’m still not making enough to grow at the rate I want. Rome wasn’t built overnight though so I’m gonna keep it up. Never giving up! Thanks for your motivational videos. Merry Christmas brother!

    I’m glad to see I’m not the only one struggling from the end of last yr to the new yr iv lost 8 clients all with the same outcome it’s just to expensive for us to have someone mow our place and unfortunately with electric being pushed on homeowners and forced on commercial companies our cost go up and homeowners can now see the cost difference between doing it themselves with cheap electric ryobi equipment on their weekend time . People are cutting back with inflation. It’s definitely going to hurt this yr . I hope everyone can hold on , it will be a true test just remember were you started and the yrs you have invested . Be humble. Do what u have to ! To stay alive. We have lost 3 good size companies where I’m at already and a lot of smaller companies as well as people want to only pay for the cost of good services from 10 yrs ago they don’t want to pay or can’t afford todays prices ! Use to be 25-40 a cut now it’s 47.5-65 a cut on avg most either can’t afford it or see the value of doing it themselves with cheap electric equipment. I will be chasing hoa and commercial contracts .I don’t see much in residential anymore. Best of luck guys . We are all in this together!

    I have thought about giving up Keith. I have grown my business the last 4 years, thinking it would still be ok to run it from my residence, ( didnt do my homework, my bad), I now have to find commercial storage costing around $9500 per year. Just not sure that is feasible for my business. One step forward 3 steps backwards, seems the story of my life, lol.

    Yeah I was going to quit last month in December. Grass started slowing down and my customers went from bi-weekly to once a month or call. Bills didn’t stop coming but the money flow did. I almost picked the phone up to get my job back at the dealership.

    I don't even know where to begin! I hate my 9-5 FT job and cant wait to service my lawn care customers on the weekends, then when I get on site, and these customers want to take advantage of me or try to get me to work for free, I get upset, and angry and want to walk off the job, but I don't. I stick through it, get the job done and receive my pay and onto the next one. And even so, I bust my ass, go above and beyond, and do the best job that I can and its like its never enough for these customers. My condo customer, which is a very small postage stamp sized front yard, gets cut for $40 bi-weekly so all Fkn year long I'm showing up, cutting, edging, blowing and doing a great job, but when the heavy lifting comes for the fall cleanup, they tell me "oh we did the fall cleanup ourselves this year". WTF do you mean? You're messing with my livelihood!! Needless to say, they may be dropping me, which is fine, its all part of the business, but im just so fed up because I'm working really hard to gain new customers, do the best job I can for a reasonable price and there they are wanting more for less and asking me to do more work than they themselves don't even want to do which is why they called me or asked me to do it for them. Its so fkn crazy! I keep going because I have no choice, but as soon as I get more customers, I'm doing EXACTLY what you have taught in many many videos: Dissolve the bottom as you fill in the top and to know my worth! I have come a long way from when I decided to start this lawn care business, but I feel like quitting EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!

      Truth is that humans only care about themselves and those closest to them. If you died in a car accident to their home to do their perfect service. They wouldn't give u a second thought if they got the news.
      I hope you found succession in your business and flourish. JOURNEY WELL BROTHER.

    About those "special" clients, a few of them are really special, if You are sure of it. Keep them at same old price. At least how I do it that way.

    • @tnrcleancare7847
      @tnrcleancare7847 Год назад

      Yep. Got two or three older ladys, one is literally like our grandmother now, she buys us Christmas gifts , regularly calls us etc. She is legit family now. Funny how that works. Her price will never change. But she pays good anyways. The others call occasionally, I always make time for them , they literally pay 100 bucks to change two light bulbs. Or take out the trash. Why? Because they know and trust me. They don't want someone who they don't know. But I'd never change my prices on them because they were my first customers , have always been good to me, and they pay well as it is.

    •  Год назад

      @@tnrcleancare7847 Yes, I have similar clients. A few of them even gave me permission to live in theirs houses, like a place to stay. For me is it something unreal.

      @ yeah I believe it man..I'd never go back to 9/5.. Just couldn't do it. Running a business is the most grueling thing you'll ever do , But when done with honesty and integrity and the ability to accept criticism and make changes It's the most rewarding thing you'll ever do.
