Its a custom version I Edited of the Smooth 6 V2. Just google search REAPER SMOOTH 6 V2, and a forum link will come right up ;)

I have a couple toolbars that I've customized for myself, but they're all just boring text boxes haha. I love the snazzy looks. Little things, like a snazzy UI, keep me motivated--strangely. I don't know if you can relate. Would you ever consider selling or giving away the icon image files you've made?

Thanks a lot bro. Might be a basic sounding question since I've been using Reaper for nearly 15 years (I've just never bothered using toolbar buttons) - how do you actually use a toolbar button assigned to a VST effect? Does it get put as an insert on the currently selected track? A new track is created with that inserted? Do you drag the toolbar button on to a track?

Great video. Would really appreciate it if you could go into more detail on using Pixlr to create Icons for Reaper toolbars at a slower pace for people who are not as experienced as yourself with graphic editing software. Explain magic wand, sizing ratio you had 250 x 250 and jumped to 1500 x 250, you kinda lost me there etc... 😢TL;DR Basically the same video at a slower pace allowing for people not so fluent with icons/graphic editing, why we create 3 images etc... Would love for you to do the Serum Icon again at this slower rate and another basic icon that has say just a number (text) for each icon like, 1 for the initial icon, 2 for the hover over icon and 3 for the pressed icon. BTW your Icons look awesome, I just subscribed to your channel and gave all your videos a thumbs up 😊👍

How did you download all of the color themes for Smooth 6? I'm able to download and run the theme file, but idk how to get to the color themes for it

So I started making my own icons, and I encountered a problem-- when I load the .png images as the image icons in Reaper, they acquire a weird gray box overlay (similar to the one shown at 3:20, but on top of my new image). How do I override the toolbar_blank.png that gives buttons their highlights?
You would have to change the toolbar_blank.png file itself. You would make it a full transparent image.

@@brysonnegri913 correct, try working with a photo editor and use the toolbar_blank.png as a layer that you can hide, that way you will see exactly how it will look with the buttons overlayed
@@brysonnegri913 but you either have the toolbar_blank.png button or you make it transparent, so its either there or its gone. It would be cool if you change that. Hopefully Reaper 7 will fix that, whenever it comes out

Could you describe a little bit more by what you mean. You might Need to resize your toolbar or make smaller icons. Also make sure there are 3 images in the file and save as .png

@@reapertutorials1947 I have tried everything with no mistake. When I add all my necessary vsts on the toolbar, it passes the screen instead of going down to another column. How can I change the size of the toolbar?
@@syedarifalhoque2566 there should be an area to drag and change the size on the very edge of the toolbar itself, you can also right click and move the toolbar to a dedicated area. Let me know if that helps
@@reapertutorials1947 I can change the size of the main and the floating toolbar, but I can't resize the toolbar at the top of the window.
