Command + Shift + 4 turns the cursor into a cross-hairs and that lets you crop any part of the screen and just take a screen shot of that. So you can skip the cropping step in Preview.
Thank you for the video! I miss a way to make Reaper show an image like those you did, but smaller than yours, on the right side or the left side of the plugin's names. Sometimes it's really hard to remember which one you're looking for... ...and to keep a note (or description) about each one of them could be very nice! So we could make some notes about them and some ideas on how to use them... I have a dream...
This is an amazing tutorial. Thanks! Now…I have question 😊 (and please forgive me if I missed this in the video). Could a button be configured to change the preset on a plugin? I’m thinking of a quick-change option for AmpliTube or EZDrummer.
Going anal about toolbars huh. I would finish ten albums until I do this for all my VSTs. But f**k it looks awesome. Guess I'll give it a go :) Thanks!
Why can't you share with us those icons you already made? Some of us have the same plugins. That is why the community exist and you also use other people's work. Thanks for the insight, I didn't even know that it was possible.
Way to talk about screenshots and graphic design for 10mins without even explaining what the toolbar is, what it helps you do, and why even use it. I've watched the video and I still do not know what it's for.

Reaper is the most procrastinating daw ever
Meh ... too much work
Yeah it was a bit of work to get set up, but making the icons can be done WAY faster than shown here by using Photoshop

For real. Can't we get an official upload of those that's continually updated by contributors for download that would be perfect.

Most companies has press material with all their icons and graphics on their site.
