My Hunter Pro-C has a "No AC" readout from the face pack. I've tested w/ a 9 volt battery and it seems the face pack is still good. Does this mean that I will need to test the transformer? Please advise. Thank you.
Hello. i have programmed everything as instructed, but i can't get any zones to actually start watering both in the manual or programmed modes. i have cycled to each of 7 zones and the minutes will count down without watering. Please help! David
we have an X-core, and wish to eliminate even or odd watering days which I feel may be conflicting with our basic programme of watering twice per night every wednesday. Presumably resetting and reprogramming is one way?
I have a XCore XC6001. When I try to run the stations manually, sprinklers do not come on and the "Automatic Watering" sign flashes. I have turned the rain sensor to by-pass but still having the issue. Any suggestions?
I Have X-Core indoor, that the display appears on blanc. Removing the current AC display the message ON AC and after stay on blanc. I put a new currente AC and the display continues on blanc. I analysed and have energy. What can be the problem.
I have a customer who states the controller is making a ping noise and the display flashes when it does this. Other than that he states everything is working fine?
I have an ICC controller with 14 zones. I can run zones 9-14 individually they show on the display. but trying to set up program start times I only have zone 1-8 . Any troubleshoots on that ? Thanks! Andy
Our Hunter Pro C controller display is blank but I can manually turn on our sprinklers via pressing the arrow keys and using manual mode blind. It however doesn't run for more then a minute and past station 8 doesn't turn on the the right station (we have 10 stations programmed)
I have a ic-600-pl and the clock appears to be "stuck". i can see the time, i can set the time but it does not advance. I don't see any errors and i can run manually but nothing runs with timer. Any suggestions? Thanks
I cannot get the display to change regardless of which setting I am on. I went through the reset steps and I still cannot change the display. I am trying to correct the time and date and no matter how long I hold the arrows down, I do not get any flashing numbers/dates. Similarly, when I to the watering schedule, I don't get the different programmes (A, B, C etc.) and I cannot access any of the start times, run times etc. The unit is about a year old.
I have the very same problem, drives me crazy. Seems as if the whole controller must be hard reset to get rid of this -- and manual has nothing to say about this code.
My XC400i does not show the time of day when idle 'RUN" position. It's brand new and I'm able to adjust all settings. Is this feature still on the newer released models???
Normal status should show the time and date. If it doesn't try moving the dial to another dial setting and back to Run. If that does not fix it try performing a factory default. Use this web address to learn how to do that if your not sure. www.hunterindustries.com/support/pro-c-clearing-controllers-memoryresetting-controller
I'm getting a station# ERR on all stations, but when I run a wire directly from power to any station, the sprinklers come on for that station. The power I'm getting from the 24VAC is approx. 30V.
Thanks so much! I found that all the stations where having an issue and returned the whole unit and got another one. Works like a charm! Thanks so much for your fast reply!!
i bought a house with a existing hunter system and it works great but it runs every morning no matter what i set my schedule at or my run time duration. i havent found a way to fix this so i am having to cut my station run times from 48 down to 30 and eventually down to 20 to avoid a expensive bill
Good morning. My irrigation system controller display is blank. I'm try to fix but I can't repair it. The brand is Hunter X-core model XC-4. It directly connects with the house general electronic box when I turn off the irrigation button inside the electronic box, the controller displays "no AC". After I turn it on it's blank. I'm anticipate the controller is still good but just because the hurricane results it something wrong. If possible can you help me out please? Thank you.
What does the "trash can with a flag on the lid" icon mean? I have systems 2 & 3 coming on at the same time when I try to run it automatically and manually. Help!!!
On my X-Core 600 I'm getting just a '6' on the display when trying to run a station manually. And it doesn't run. Doesn't matter what station (of 4) I try. Any thoughts?
Hi, on my Hunter Pro-C model similar to the question below no zone comes on even in manual mode. The valves are working fine by turning them 1/2 turn. I noticed I have no power to AC1 in the controller but 28v in AC2. All zones are also showing 28V. Is AC1 supposed to be dead or should that also be carrying 28v? If all zones are not working, this can not be valve/solenoid problem, since they were all working fine at one time. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you for your response. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough on my question. I performed all the tests that you have suggested and the fact that the controller and the valves were all getting proper voltage but not working was a mystery. I would see on the controller that each zone would pop up but no water was coming out. So here is what I did that solved the problem. Even though I had flipped the rain sensor to bypass at the controller the system was detecting rain or moisture. The next step was to actually pop off the top of the rain sensor and physically disable it, not just bypass it. That did the trick and all zones came on with water pouring out with no problem. Come to find out that due to the high humidity there was some moisture in the rain sensor which was preventing the proper operation. Thanks for your help and I hope my solution is useful to others.
Hello, My Hunter Pro C controller display OFF sensor and would not run Auto or manual all stations , only way for it to run is manual station by station, looking at your other videos, seems the issue related to rain sensor ,I have tried switching to byPass
My Pro-C is one year old and all of a sudden the zones started messing up. I tried the reset process as your video instructed. Pro-C reset itself to 12:00a/m. But when I turn on with arrow button that will start all zones, the timer stars but no water flow on zone 1. When zone 2 starts, it is actually zone 3 and it runs until set time expires. I can start each zone 1 at the time by opening the bleed valve slightly on each zone and it will run until I close bleed valve. The same with zones 2 & 3. Is the controller bad?
Please contact Hunter Technical Services for help with your problem. By email support@hunterindustries.com, or phone 1800-733-2823. If you call by phone please be in front of the controller with a multimeter so we can walk you through some diagnostics. We are available MON-FRI 6am to 4pm PST.
Make sure the ribbon cable is securely in the face pack. I had a similar problem where mine was going nuts and I accidentally pushed the ribbon cable in securely and everything went back to normal.
I recently bought a newly built home with a Hunter X-Core irrigation controller. I have set all of the parameters, no problem. The problem I am having is that each time the system runs it reduces the run time for all of the stations. I continually have to reset the run times. Is anyone else having this problem or know the fix? Thnh!
If the Run Times are changing automatically it means you have a Solar Sync sensor with your X-Core controller. Please use this link to learn more about this sensor and how to use it. www.hunterindustries.com/support/solar-sync-introduction
Good question about the delay feature. Use the link below to learn how to get into the advanced feature Delay setting. You would reduce the delay to 0 if you want it off with the minus button when you are in that setting. www.hunterindustries.com/support/pro-c-removing-delay-between-stations
My Hunter ProC (2003 model) has stopped working. My rain sensor had stopped working a few years ago so I've had the rain sensor switch set to BYPASS. A week or so ago, my display went completely blank and remains that way no matter what buttons are pressed or the RUN dial turned. When I slide the rain sensor switch to the ACTIVE position, the display comes on and displays "OFF sensor". I reprogrammed the date/time/sprinkler run information, but when I tried switching to rain sensor switch back to BYPASS the display went blank again. I reset the display per instructions and also cycled the controller power per the troubleshooting instructions as well, but it the screen remains blank when the rain sensor is set to BYPASS. Is there anything else I can try to troubleshoot??
I have a Pro-C controller from 2013 that is displaying "ERR" - it pulses on the display between that and OFF or whatever is being displayed - there's no # in front of it so it seems not anything to do with my zones - the manual says it could be radio interference on the smartport? Would it pulse like that if so? The smartport is just on the other side of the garage wall, so less than a foot - this problem just started a few weeks ago - first time in the 4 years I've had the system. The wires seem firmly connected within the controller box.
Thank you for your timely reply. One thing I did not mention is that I also have a solar synch attached to the Pro-C controller. The solar synch display is blank and I've tried taking the battery out, disconnecting its power leads, and pressing the 3 buttons but I've had no luck getting a display. I did not mention this in my first post as it didn't seem relevant to the situation based on the ERR documentation indicating something with the smartport only. I went ahead and disconnected the smartport wires first from the terminals and the Pro C display still pulsed Err. With the smartport wires still disconnected I then unhooked the solar synch's blue wire from the REM terminal - the display stopped showing the pulsing ERR. Does this mean the solar synch module is causing the issue? Just to clarify this is a professional installation from 2013 that I've had no issues with until today. The only individuals that access the box inside the garage are myself and the sprinkler service I use - they gave no indication of this problem when doing startup maintenance on it in mid May. I didn't notice the pulsing ERR and blank display on the solar synch until I attempted using it in June as we've received sufficient rain during that interval. The first solar synch originally installed did fail after 1 year and the sprinkler install company replaced with the current one, under their warranty. Do you have any further thoughts or suggestions?
I get the programming, my question is that none has answered yet lol is, HOW DO I KNOW WHAT ZONE/STATION (A,B,C,D) IS FOR WHICH PART OF MY YARD!!??? I BOUGHT THIS HOUSE 'AS IS'. The landscaper/builder never communicated those stations with me! In one part of the house are my trees, the other part of the house are my girlfriend's flower bed. I ask also cause there must be renters of homes and owners need to communicate this to people!!!!!!!
I have a new Pro C and the issue is the programming is set for on Sunday and Wednesday. However, with the unit in run, the unit does not start unless I manually recycle the switch all the way around to run again. Can you help?
I have a Hunter Pro-C, it uses the PCM300 Modules. Two of my stations (7 & 8) have undesired delayed turn-on (delayed water flows) or they don't turn on at all. If I operate manually, sometimes they turn on after several minutes of delay. Any suggestions?

Hi, i keep getting a flashing sprinkler symbol, when I try to run the system, and the irrigation is on. How do I fix this problem?
It is a Pro-C sprinkler system
seasonal adjustment changes on its own
Thanks for watching!
My drip system isn't controlling the water anymore. Turned all programs off and my drip system just continually runs with no control. What can I do?

For some reason my sprinkler doesn't work everything looks fine on the Hunter display
