This was my first circular knitter and it worked right out of the box. I had watched tutorials ahead of time so i knew how to cast on, etc. I also have an addi now and the addi is SO much better . That being said, this is a functional machine and very fun to use. The largest of the circular knitters so i make mens hats, etc out of it.

screw driver, and realizing you needed to put the suction guards on the feet despite the fact that
you did not want to. No wonder my hubby would laugh at me when doing something like this. You

Nanna, you are so cute and precious. I just love watchibg putting 5he machibe together. I am 75tyrs young and I would love to have one. I have ADHD. When I was growing up if you had a hard time learning you were label dumb or stupid. I know I wanted to learn but had time catching on. But if someone is willing to teach me I do catch on after while. The company who making these knitting machines need to put DVD teaching video in each box it would help people like me too be able to learn. I just love watching you. You would b the person who should be teaching the DVD. God bless you.

I have ordered the 2 addis, this one and a generic one that has good reviews, but is an inbetween size. The problem is that it is taking more than 6 weeks to receive sny of them. I will be so excited when they all arrive.

Hi Marie! It comes with suction caps that attach to the bottom of the machine so provided you use it on a flat surface it doesn’t move around 🙂

I don’t have a video explaining how to do this but it’s very simple. Remove your yarn from the yarn guide and hold straight up in the air. Continue winding your handle for about two rounds. Your project will pop straight off! 😊
Just be careful not to pull the end of your yarn once it’s off the loom, or you may lose a row or two!
Once it’s off you will have to cut your yarn leaving a tail long enough to secure the end of your project.

Awesome! I just bought one of these too and was planning on making a video about it. I've seen several mixed reviews on the machine itself but I'm hoping that my experience is a good one. I do hats for charity in my community but it's getting to be quite the task to do them all by hand so I know this will be a huge help! Your video was super nice too and thank you for your insight ❤
So far it’s been a great little machine! Although it can be a bit temperamental with certain yarn types. I find it works best with super soft yarns ☺️ Thankyou for watching! ❤️

Very chunky yarns cannot be used in these circular knitting machines. Worsted weight (4 ply) or DK weight
yarns.- Caron Simply Soft and Lions Brand yarns work well. When you master the learning curve, I look
forward to you doing a real review of the Sentro. It is also important to take time to learn how to do a flat
panel with nice edges. The learning curve is not complex, so you should be up and running.quickly.

I find 8 ply yarns work the best! I have also used it with the Spot Saver USA Style yarn from Spotlight (which is 10 ply) but it doesn’t seem to work as well!
I also find the softer the yarn the better.. the Stallion yarn from Spotlight works really well (although it’s definitely not the best quality yarn), but if you can find something with a similar texture to that I’m sure it would work just the same! 😊

as it only has 48 pegs, what if you want to do a different size?
As far as I’m aware 48 pegs is the largest sized circular knitting machine you can get. You can buy smaller machines to make smaller items 😊 otherwise it is doable with the larger machine if you work in the panel function 💛
