Just ordered the hg hummer. Can't wait to get it. Speaking of old rc cars. I have an old GI Joe crossfire. Rear baloon tires are shot and rotted. Built on a thunder eagle chassis. Having a hard time figuring out where to get tires for it and get the wheels off because it grinds in low gear.

I hate no idea that is from 1995, I have also a Tamina Baja buggy me first electro it is close to 40 years old, I will not drive the buggy I m too worry to brack him!
Thanks to share your feelings for old cars.🤙😎

The HG I put in the glass shelf for display in my dinning room and all of my friends won't even notice it is a rc model until I told them. The realistic design combines with high quality parts in mechanical is the best money you can buy today in the rc world in my own opinion.

I just ordered the hgp408. The tamiya hummer is the only rc i have ever had so i have never used lipo batteries before and they sound like a lot work. And its kinda scaring that I'm going burn down my house or set fire to my rc. What batteries and charger do you recommend and do you have an advise. Thank you

Lipos can be little difficult there a lot changers that good change in a lipo bag or fire proof box for the hg u need a 7.4 2s I would go with a 5000mah

I got the tamya hummer but the front bumper broke off the body, now the slights bump causes the front of the body pop off

The old one, only thing I didn't like is the transmission has no slipper and the plastic gears strip if using even a mild modified brushed motor and 2s it will strip the spare over and over and there were no metal gears available that fit back then. The internet had barely come out and no youtube. If I had the old again, I would just gear it too go very slow and throw a high turn motor in and just be ready to catch it or just shelve. Possibly the best looking rc car ever built. I mean the way the tires look with the body and windows. The body is more durable than most lexan bodies, it has to be almost 3mm thick.

I run my 95 hummer with a 27 turn motor and locked front/rear diffs. No damage in 7-8 years
