      @@CasinoGuitarsI don’t know if a boutique company could afford to get that crazy. It would take some trial and error and then some serious marketing to make profit, for a small company that hand builds tube amps. And then it’s a loud tube amp in today’s environment. I think only Fender could afford to get this far outside the box. I hope they succeed because then they’ll make more stuff like this, and then it will trickle down to cheaper stuff

    I have a saying around here, "They make a pedal for that". The Brotary is about ten years in the making, and it is based on three random amps, fed by a pile of wires and bits, primarily the active crossover and stereo equalizer. I split the signal and send the high and the low to two amps, using a panning tremolo to get it dancing. A third amp is brought in straight to smooth out the sound. The Panoverb is doubtless better sounding, and for relatively little money I could have one nearby to point at and go "Oh yeah, they make an amp for that" when I get the usual wailing and gnashing of teeth that comes when people see my guitar rig.

      @@charlesbolton8471 yeah, I always loved the sound of the VK's 6v6 powered reverb. I used to teach at a shop that had a VK for about 6 months. I was so tempted to buy it, but it was just too heavy to haul around tbh. If a model is ever designed with 3 or 2 stereo wired 8" hempcone speakers and a carbon fiber cab like the Bogner Atma I would probably buy it.

    • @TrueManCrowyote
      @TrueManCrowyote Месяц назад

      a lil further research indicated that the 6v6s are output tubes for the 2nd speaker not for powering the reverb, which is actually powered by a 12at7. If you don´t have a 12at7 powered reverb you´ve got to try one especially if a GE grey plate is in there. For me, it lowers the need. I already have a Supro 1605R and I'm waiting for a 2x8 or 3x8 version with hempcones. :)
