Really cool. I basically do the same thing, except with two smaller amps I keep side by side. I run a Univibe into a stereo panner and then into the two amps. Set the Univibe to chorus for a stereo harmonic tremolo, or to vibrato for a Magnatone style pitch shifting tremolo. Plus, I can dial in a Leslie cab effect, and by turning the two amps 45 degrees away from each other, I get a Leslie speaker effect that throws the high and low frequencies out side to side in the room similar to the way a Leslie cabinet would. I recommend my method for anyone who wants to get the sounds of those three stereo sounds on a smaller budget. All you need is a couple of practice amps and either a Zoom MS70CDR or MS50G, which have those stereo effects in them and are incredibly inexpensive.
Maybe you got lucky but usually when using two separate amps it will result in a "ground loop" , with buzzing coming from the speaker on one of them. The fix is usually to plug one of them into an isolation transformer, but those can cost more than a practice amp.
I'm haunted. I've had a stereo rig before that was a Fender Excelsior Pro and a Fender Pro Jr. 4. It was so gorgeous..oh I miss it. Going to have to save up for this, it's not even an option to put it off. I'm getting 2 to run in stereo.
For this price, I’m not so sure it’s actually better than some other high end stuff, though it sounds great. And if it’s much lighter weight than vintage and boutique amps, what a great selling point.

Just under £3k in the UK. Sounds stunning though. I like the versatility of switching the reverb and tremolo between the speakers. I like the idea of having two amps in one cabinet. The weight seems reasonable for what it does. Don't think I'd buy it. I usually run wet/dry (which is not quite the same I confess) with the Harmonic Tremolo on one side .... or normal tremolo if I'm using my Deluxe Reverb .... and get a sound close enough to this. I can imagine this being a limited edition with a limited appeal and there's nothing wrong with that ..... for the people who want it. I doubt you'll get the opportunity but this in comparison with the Magnatone would be a fun listen. Similar basic concepts, very different execution.
I too run a wet/dry Crate vc 2110 & Crate power block thru a Jensen falcon 10 & a Realistic 100 watt then thru a radial eng. a/b/y . The power block has an effects loop which runs all the effects. While the vintage club provides the cleans. acoustic, electric & bass all sound incredible thru this highly versatile rig.
$5099 listed on Fender Australia's website. It *should* be less if it isn't a Limited Edition. It's at the power stage that the amp can become stereo. Looks like the 6V6 set controls 20 watts for the 10" speaker & the 6L6 set (50 watts) for the 15". An interesting amp that will have it's own fanbase, I'm sure. Is it a new classic born?
@@OzziePete1 I checked the Fender website before posting and although it's not explicitly stated the two power stages is obviously how they're doing the stereo tremolo. It has to be a limited run of some kind, My FSR Deluxe Reverb was about 60% the price of this new. A Tonemaster version of the Pano Verb would seem an interesting project for Fender to work on if this amp sells. When Brett started playing, and before I checked out all the switches, I actually wondered if this was part of that series!
Ah! - The put a footswitch on the Reverb! I had a Vibro-King for a while and had to modify it to insert a footswitch { ..thought it was very strange this wasn't done initially. ..} I bought a reissued Vibro-Verb some 8 yrs ago and coincidently I use an add'l cab with a 10" and a 15" I built as I thought it was a great combination.
This doesn't feel like the @brettkingman reviews I know and love. I can read the brochure myself and get the same product PREview from every other youtuber. Mr Kingman, I missed your insights and opinions and explorations on this one.
This amp looks and sounds amazing- what makes it unique also makes it practical. Always a great sign. The $4k price point is kinda ridiculous though. It only makes it harder for Fender to capitalize on the hype. They’d make 2x more money if they dropped the price by $1k. And cement it as a classic too. But hey, I’ll accept donations too 😂
This thing sounds great. Wish it had a stereo effects loop… which blows my mind as to why it doesn’t. I’m sure the onboard effects are awesome, but I want the ability to craft my own sounds using this speaker combo. Really no excuse not to have it at $3000.
I assume this thing get can very loud, but how does it do at lower volumes? Would it work well for someone playing at home trying to play at a reasonable level?
Shame you didn't have more time to really put this amp through its paces, I reading the specs of the amp before watching the video and it's got to be the most versatile amp Fender has done (happy to be corrected on this) . I knew it was going to be expensive just be reading the specs, according to Fender AU it's going to RRP around $5K and well worth it i think. The only unfortunate things for me apart from the price its the 70watts...I can't use a 70 watt amp at home, I have trouble getting my Blues Jr volume past 4 without the wife telling me to turn it down.
Great playing, Burgh, as always! Despite the good sounding trem: I think the design is materialized ugliness plus it’s clunky and I would rather go for a (used) smaller Two Rock or an Amplified Nation if I‘d spend that amount of money.
Absolutely killer!! How beautiful is this?! 2999.00 isn't bad considering inflation and i can see a lot went into this! A soldando or most boutique amps are 3-5k if not more this is on the low side plus beautiful speakers in combination !
I don’t think I would be using the features on this amp. I have a blonde Bandmaster with Harmonic trem and it’s Univibe like. I like plate reverb from a pedal over spring reverb.
It's a drive control more than a drive channel. Kind of pushes it into lo-fi fuzz territory. If I can pry one from Fender, I'll demo the amp with some classic fuzzes, etc. I'd be interested in that too.

@@J.C... your point is valid. No boutique amp in that price range I can think of that offers “true stereo”. Two amp setups for stereo may not be practical for many and could wind up costing upwards of $3k.

It’s Fender so it’s automatically overpriced, but comparing a PCB-based Fender to a hand-wired Magnatone is ridiculous, and if he’d played one he would have said so. Now go and read up on critical thinking, and start doing some.

Or you can get 2 used deluxe reverbs (or twins or supers) for less than half the price and run them in stereo and have true separation
I actually did a gig like that by chance.
The venue had two deluxe reverbs as backline, so I used both in stereo.
It was epic.

The amp sounds great but nobody is demoing the drive channel 🤔.. makes me suspicious .. Also it would be nice to hear it with drive pedals etc.. !
