That is REALLY nice sounding. I dunno about the yellow, though. So your next 5-minute tone, you ready for this? We need you to walk us through building this amp in the Fractalverse! Man, at 3:35 I was expecting a Villanova Junction/Tender Surrender type thing, something about the tone and that little phrase you dropped just then with the octaves...oh, and some Gretsch love, no less? Nice!
I like the way the 6V6 section breaks up faster than the 6L6, makes for a nice complex tone. Of course you're probably also thinking what I am about the stereo capabilities - detune!
I had a Garnett Session Man 2x12 with Peavey Scorpion speakers thirty years ago. It was a Fender Twin copy. I ran the amp clean and used overdrive and distortion pedals to get my high gain tones. It sounded awesome!
It's awesome to see Fender come up with something other than reissues. This smells of innovation and in a good way. My issue is with the styling department, Way too much yellow. I hope the marketing department don't just sit on there asses. Put out a video on the design and thought process that led to this NEW Fender creation. Oh, most important, awesome playing Leon, supurb
This is indeed a fantastic amp, but every aspect of it is things that were developed by Fender and Magnatone 70 years ago. It’s clever to put them all in one amp, but there isn’t really any “innovation” to it.
I don't love the yellow (one of my least favourite colours) but this is actually an amazing amp. To see Fender innovating with the tube series of amps is really exciting.
My friends and I were just chatting about how we've all moved on from tubes and are running different modelling options these days. Then Fender goes and drops this...
Great job Leon. I need this for my collection. But will have to wait a bit just got the new MOOG Muse. I have a studio addiction. Way worse than guitar or Synth addiction. I have those plus mics and preamps sometimes mixers and monitors. Its sad.
It's so amazing that they got this made without Fender execs turning it into ToneMaster garbage to blast through Guitar Center. I totally want one now.
Yeah...my first reaction wasn't about the drip. I'm listening with headphones and the panning of the two mics with the tremolo was Electric Ladyland magical.
Jack has a signature amp? I thought he just played anything old that he found in a pawn shop and made it his own through his genius. :) (The White Stripes being considered Detroit "garage rock" at one point.) Never found a pre-5150 III Fender I dug the distortion on except maybe the Pro Sonic and later Super Sonic. But this does make a lot of colorful sounds. Then again, I can have some strange beliefs. As Bob Pletka from J&J/Eurotubes told me once, "I don't like combo amps. They rattle the tubes at high volumes because they're all in the same housing." So, I avoided combo amps. I often retain the views of people who know more than me through osmosis and keep them as superstitions until someone just as knowledgeable proves me wrong. In this case, Leon's preference for semi hollows is rubbing off on me despite my hearing for decades from other players, "Semis feed back with high gain! They become a muddy mess!" Thanks for helping me keep on learning about gear even at 43 years old, Leon. You're a solid guy, mate.
I have an FM9, and I'm using 2 stereo boxes on out1 and another 2 stereo boxes on out2, the sound of the guitar when I play comes out on the 2 outputs, however the sound from the USB that goes to the PC only comes out on separate out1, out2, how can I do this? Configure the audio on the PC to output out 1 and out 2 simultaneously?

Jack White sold his soul to the devil. He’s in the club, and I’ll never give him another cent. For context, I’m a former super fan, supporting all his bands, and planned to print my bands vinyl with Third Man. I’ve got most of the Vault releases as well, attended every Vegas show as far back as the White Stripes ( I’ve got that show on Vinyl too), but again I’m seriously disappointed and done with him. Obviously, he wouldn’t give a damn about losing me as a fan, and inspiration, but just wanted to put it out there.
You’re such a MAGA Snowflake. I’ll never understand how anyone can let their politics (regardless of which side they are on) dictate what they are allowed to enjoy.
Insanely cool amp. Insanely ugly, but insanely cool! Not quite the headroom I like in my Fenders, but damn does this thing make credit card debt tempting 😅
Well, at 61 lbs, large, too loud, and $3,000, I don't think it's going to sell a lot of units. I mean Jack White has roadies to move his equipment and plays large venues. This amp isn't going to be much use to the average pub performer. The average pub performer can't afford a $3,000 amp, would break his back moving it and loading it into a vehicle (if you even have a vehicle large enough to fit this along with your other equipment), and wouldn't be able to turn the volume knob much past 2 or 3 in a pub. Sure you could get an attenuator, but that sort of defeats the purpose of buying a big, loud amp, not to mention the cost and extra weight of an attenuator. I'm sure it sounds nice, but sheesh... not in tune with the real world of us lowly schmucks. Too loud even for rehearsals.
@@LeonTodd Yes that's true. So who is this amp for then? What market are they aiming at? Rich guys who just play at home very loudly? Or rich guys who are in successful bands that play large venues?
Dude. This thing will sell a sh*t ton of units. It has everything a true Fender amp fan could ever want. The most unique, classic thing they've made in decades.
@@joehynes2964 LOL, so true Fender amp fans want an overly loud, big, heavy, expensive amp, with ugly yellow lettering and borders? Note I never implied it doesn't sound good. But there's lots of other Fenbder amps that sound good too that aren't overly loud, big, heavy, or expensive. And these other amps don't have ugly yellow trim.
It DRIPS!
ADORE the looks of this amp! That yellow *chefs kiss
Finally something that looks different!
Is it too loud for home use. I don’t have any neighbours close by I don’t want my ears to bleed
I was expecting just weird sounds from this amp but it has a SERIOUS retro vibe and I'm digging it
It's awesome that 1) Jack White was able to come up with this, and 2) Fender actually accommodated the ideas and are putting the amp out there.
I'll say one thing, no modeler has a reverb like that.
Very sad, but very true.
Best demo so far of the last thing I need to see: a $3000, 60 lb amp that I now want.
That's a whole lotta good Fender tones from one amp, bravo Fender.
About damned time.
Beautiful and supercool. And expensive!
Man... that trip to Fender headquarters was productive, to say the least! Glad for you!

This thing seems vibey. Well done Fender. 🤙
5:42 that riff was freaking cool asf
That was some sweet playing Leon. The Gretch was especially nice. Thanks!👍
Lovely guitar!
More creative anachronism from Jack. Fun! I look at it and think, that would suck to carry up stairs. Lovely as studio amp.
Basically a "best of" Fender
OF COURSE IT DRIPS! Nice video man!
Love this amp!
Wasn’t jazzed about it but I am now. Sounds good. Too good for what I think of when I hear the name Jack White. Killer playing uncle Leon!

Ooh, didn't expect a nice bit of Trower . Especially as he uses Marshalls exclusively.
It almost sounds like a univibe with the stereo tremolo. So cool
I like how it sounds like a big uni-vibe box
Really interesting. Seems an awful lot like a Vibro King with stereo and a master volume - which is cool.
Best Amp demo ever! Soooo💰💰💰Definitely need one of those.❤
Wish I had the $3000 for this. They really knocked it out of the park here... !
Rolled my eyes when I saw this but then.....wow....I'm super impressed
The Trower stuff sounds magical on this amp.
Man leon, you tore this amp a new one!
Not sure If this was a product demo or a soundtrack for an upcoming Spy movie
Sounds great
bridge of sighs , nailed!

What's a 10 inch and a 15 inch speaker I would love to hear this with a bass guitar through it
I plays keys, I would love to hear what this can do with a Wurly, or Mellotron. Pedal steel? Good night Louise, what beautiful sounding amp.

Same, goes to show that a killer riff is killer regardless of what the sound comes out of.
Love it.!!🤘🏼
I hope line 6 models this amp for my Helix.😂
Now that's surprising, it sounds really nice....it looks huge! Definitely stands apart from the fender range visually.
Super Reverb or tweed Bassman sized. Cool neon strat.

Guitar playing wizardry on a magic sounding amp 💙
It would be Magnatone Panoramic vs Pano verb
Reminds me of a Magnatone Twilighter
So if Fender is going to be doing amps like this I am going to need a 2x12 combo with two deluxe 6v6 power amps and a stereo effects loop.
Swoosh!
