I walk around and pull up crabgrass before I mow, I've been doing that for about 2 years, I find 5 or 10 every few weeks, won't be long till the seed bank is gone. I also use prodiamine.

Yeah, in Ontario people will generally use corn gluten. I find that it can be an effective option. I have found that it requires 3 application one in the early spring, one mid spring and one at the very start of summer. In other areas there are other options of course. Tenacity (mesotrione ) is a decent option and can be put down at the same time that you are seeding. It can also be used as a post emergent.

Looks good. Now the browning is all crabgrass or is that from too much iron spray that it’s browning the normal healthy lawn.
It is only the crabgrass. I did spray areas of my ryegrass, that still has some KBG in it, and those areas are still green.

you metioned "pre-emergent " is there something I am missing here in Ontario, or are you speaking of corn gluten ?

Guys use a non ionic surfactant, not dawn or baby shampoo.
