The song was released on the album "Target" on July 5, 1989 and as a single with "7th Bird" on October 11, 1989; both on the Eastworld label. This video is a reload of the video I posted in 2011.

minako with wild cats は先入観からか、過小評価されていると思います。特にこの曲とか愛が聞こえるといったロックバラードは、群を抜いて良いと思います。こんな表現力豊かなボーカリストはいないですよ。
雰囲気的に20歳ごろのお顔でしょうか。
とても大人っぽくて、堂々としていて、歌唱力も抜群に秀でていますね。
こういう人を天性の才能の持ち主というのでしょうね。

Wild Catsの終盤の時期で作詞自作となると、当時の本田美奈子自身の心境という気がしてくる。
17歳のデビューから全力で走ってきて飛躍となるはずのバンド活動が目に見えて失敗しつつある。
押し潰されそうになる気持ちに対して、「Slow Walk」でも歩み直してと語りかけているような。
実は重要な一曲なのかもしれない。そして少し諦念の混じったような表情の彼女もまた美しい。
