The Video is helpful. I am a 75 year old Vietnam Veteran, my 2008 DTS Cadillac low beam light burnt out in less than a year replacement after I paid $300 for replacement. This is my third Cadillac. All this work to replace my low beam headlight is ridiculous. This is one of the reasons GM lost its Auto edge.I am retired now and I am going to have to replace the bulb myself due to me being on a fixed income. I don’t why GM and other Auto makers can’t keep things simple. I guess you could say the change in times. In any event, not good.
Thanks for your very clear instructions and steady camera work. Of all the videos I watched to ensure I got it right without breaking anything you were the only one to demonstrate how to pull the bumper forward to disengage it from the fender. Otherwise I would have had to quit for fear of exserting undue force when reaching that stage because it was not intuitive. Appreciate your help sir.
Nice detailed video TRQ. All these steps are not necessary though. Its based on manufacturer manual steps to avoid conflict with parts that are installed.
I just purchased a 2011 dts. And im so use to doing majority of the work myself. Besides the big stuff that needs the certified professional! I love the car but damn this is crazy 🤪. So this will take me all damn day! Just to change a headlight. My h3 you can change all the bulbs and still go hang out with the fellas! This here though! 😢😢😢😢😢😢. I'll have to cancel plans the entire weekend. For this amount of work. Im changing everything. Bulbs, and lens a d flood lights and lens. The whole front getting a make over. Including the grill! So might as well park it until i can afford all the parts. Fyi im being sarcastic. The point is; THIS IS CRAZY 🤪 WORK FOR SOME DARN BULBS
That's ridiculous to change a bulb . My buick takes 3 minutes remove nothing . Time you get light out half the front end dismantled and I guarantee it be a pain to get it to line up right again

The instructions are great but the vehicle's design is flawed. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO ALL OF THAT WORK JUST TO REPLACE A COUPLE OF BULBS.
No reason to have to do all this just to replace a bulb.

Great video! Is it necessary to remove the headlight bulb instead of unplugging the connector and removing the assembly with the bulbs in place?
My headlight went out. This is the best have seen.
S/o to the Cameraman for the best angles
Great work follow u step by step but I can't get the bumper to lock back into that Lil hole you was saying...it won't lock bumper keeps droping
Great video. Very clear and well explained. Unbelievable how many steps just to change a headlight assembly. Too bad you don't make house calls.......
I drive it to my mechanic. He's GM certified and use to work at a caddy dealership, charges a decent price, and I avoid a full day of aggravation.

I got aftermarket headlight from card and the headlight doesn't work but the turn and drive lights work
Never mind. I’ll just buy another car. Damn man. Doesn’t this seem absolutely ridiculous to change a headlight bulb??!
Damn man it took me 2 days to replace my headlight 🤣
my wife has this model caddy and I have a 2002 dts. mine comes out with just three bolts removed, big damn difference.
Thanks for the great video! You just made me avoid several terrible mistakes!
