Had the same problem. I took the wire harness apart and placed it back then it fixed the issue. Will surely need to replace the end of that yellow wire soon. Thanks for the much needed help. You save me lots of time hunting it down. only took me 20 minutes to solve. Thanks again your awesome!
Have you experienced any other issues after doing this..my 04 navigator is doing the same thing the key won't come out unless I disconnect the negative battery then it will..do I have the same issue.
My navigator was fine and never had issues after this fix. You might have the same problem. Watch the video again and test the other things like the fuse. Let me know. But this is a common issue with navigators
@@urfanmalik3456 will do man. I need to get this figured out and fixed. I was wondering if I had a bad ground somewhere also because my amp was acting funny and never had before. I'll update and let ya know tomorrow🙏
I have a similar problem with my 05 Navigator. I separated that harness connection and saw the corrosion on the bottom right. I will clean it all up and see if it works without jumping the yellow wires. Was your rear tailgate hatch inoperable too? Excellent video Thanks!
In addition to the key problem, my rear hatch also stop working electrically (can do it manually, only). Did you find your fix? I've played with this harness a bit to deal with the key problem, but in my case, jumping the yellow wire did nothing. Pulling the harness apart a few times also may have popped a fuse relative to the rear hatch, and I'll have to check that first.

@@urfanmalik3456 UPDATE!!! I have a aftermarket stereo and there is a ground parking wire that needs to be grounded and it wasn't grounded.
@@analiromero6006 wow ok lol! Glad you got it fixed! Good job 👍
@@urfanmalik3456 but I did do your steps just in case lol
07 navi (stucked key) in ignition is my problem.. is the procedure similar to yours?
It’s possible it’s the same problem. But there are other culprits also like the shifter or fuse or ignition
my lift gate is also non functioning did you experience the same?
yes mine was also the same but the two issues were different problems.
@@urfanmalik3456 now I have to figure out why my stepsides only open sometimes
@@BATTLEFIELDNRA the step side motors must be going bad or the relay perhaps

Yes my tailgate was also problematic but I’m sure the two issues are two different problems.
