Thats a hell of a list. Im glad you put the Benchmade in there. When shtf, a toothpick will come in handy. Lol. Good show my man. Id take that list everyday of the week
I keep a British military MOD survival knife in my winter kit. They keep it on tanks and military vehicles but I use it for chopping through solid ice or frozen wood. The Puko is the same size as the Canadian jump knife which kind of shocked me the first time I saw how small it was. But the two of them together gives me the small one for food and the large one for everything else.
My SHTF weapon load out. Primary: Ruger Sfar 308. Secondary: Glock 20. Melee weapon: Tops brush wolf. Yes I’m also a Tops knives fanboy. What’s your SHTF load out preference. I’m curious. comment down below. Keep up the good work (PBKG). I love your vids.
Why you didn't choose 10 Moras!?! 🤣 😂 For real tho I'm kinda surprised you didn't have your SP5 up there. Thats one of the best lookin knives in your collection in my opinion, I love the work you did to it. Merry Christmas bro! ✌🏼
Great stuff . Joe broke the 4mm Von Tempsky . I’d have liked him to test the 7mm version as I think he would have had a tougher time breaking that one .
@peterbiltknifeguy that's good to hear because I loved my recon scout. Gonna have to pick one of these up. The scrappy part is ill want a better sheath and that will probably cost as much as the knife but oh well.
😮😮😮😮 bro those coldsteels are hog legs dam and those tops man! Dam dude was wanna tops but now that goddamn boss trailmaster got me thinking! Lol nice video brother 👍
Out of all those that CS Trail Master is perfect for most things, I'd have a back up SRK in CPM3V and then choose a boot knife. All the others is just too much extra weight lol but if weight isn't a factor there's alot of options.
Could only manage about 3 knives in a SHTF ditch. Mine would be Ka-Bar Kukri worn in back sheath, Moccasin Ranger on the hip, C.U.T. 4.0 scout. Would also have a Leatherman multi on the belt and a Swiss Army in the back pack.
Aww I Hate the Benchmade puko, hahaha, I got the Leatherman arc for Christmas my first Magna cut blade, I was looking at the Bark River fin and Bone knife, in magna cut, but I want a Leatherman
TRC Mille Cuori, is one of the best choices, for a SHTF knife, for an experienced user. PS You'll need a knife for either collecting wild edibles, 100% for food prep and general utility tasks, some similar to your everyday tasks some not. 4 to 6 inch, are plenty enough blade.
I'd rather have 9 inch running shoes, a 9 inch pot of coffee and 9 of whatever pills those Olympic athletes use, to run the marathon, if I ever see a Zombie! lol @@peterbiltknifeguy
I have 4 of these knives and 3 have failed …. Esse …..tip fail . Cold steel scout … broke prying at handle . BK9 … edge chipping while chopping. My Busse HOGB8 and Habilis SRT out performs them all !!
Yup pissed me off got one from the first batch in the UK handle is fantastic but they heat treated the 3v all wrong £160 for the pleasure will not ever buy benchmade again but thank you for putting me on to the svord fantastic skinner and it seriously throws sparks
Kiwi £35 over hear love the ridiculous sheath changed the edge a bit used cider vinegar for the patina skinned a fox off just to see how good it is very good out hunting with the lurcher ranger grip 57 and that .i have knifes and we all will have at over £ 200 that will not strike a ferro rod and the little svord will. Not bad at all
This is a super dumb list. Half of the blades you chose cannot even stab. Only chop. SHTF needs to be able to do it all, chop, stab, carve, etc. And stainless steel is under valued as blood is super highly corrosive. The benchmade knife as a SHTF blade was, indeed, a joke. Milled full tangs, done well, so as to both retain sufficient strength and shed handle weight, is a luxury that apparently escapes you. Please do better. 🤡
Nice knives! I would absolutely go with The Benchmade Puuko over anything that Mora makes.
Lol. Finally 😂
Alot of nice knives out there and especially love the addition of the puukko....🤣🤣.....Good stuff....
😂👍 you know me. Always stirring the pot
@@peterbiltknifeguy 🤣🤣👍👍
The Recon Scout is my all time favorite Cold Steel made knife.
Great Video, Great knives. Benchmade Puko out performs all of them I gotta say. Especially chopping category.
Thats a hell of a list. Im glad you put the Benchmade in there. When shtf, a toothpick will come in handy. Lol. Good show my man. Id take that list everyday of the week
😂 l had to. I’m always stirring the pot
The "Puko" + any one of your others! 🤷 The dilemna with TOPS is that they make so many SHTF appropriate models. I have their Apache Dawn for mine.
Lol. You watched to the end. Awesome
Excellent choice
I have the Tahoma.
Okay, now I have to make one :) It will be out soon.
Lol. Awesome
I'm building my own shtf blade. Been making knives for 18 years so these builds can be fun
Making it a tank lol
Badassery bro 😊 very good selection of blades. Hope had great Christmas 🎄
I sure did. How was your Christmas
@peterbiltknifeguy jus little lame 😒 like every yr but I used to it thnx asking thou
@@gregvanderlip7726 lame is better than bad I guess lol
@peterbiltknifeguy I have earned what it became so far so no sorrow jus glad for the little bit a good that got jus got keep keeping on lol
Definitely some very solid choices for SHTF knives.👌
No doubt! Lol
Awesome list buddy. I need to make a Top 10 SHTF Knives video too. Asymmetrical Preparedness has a good channel
Yes sir

I’ve always wanted a MOD knife. They look very robust
My SHTF weapon load out.

Actually, I like the idea of having a Smaller Fixed Blade for Utility and a Big Mega Fixed Blade for Zombies. Fun Video! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
I agree.

You are correct. Would have gave him a run for his money lol. I’m glad mine came in thick
He broke the tops operator 7 pretty quick. It is 5/16"
And WTF is a mm? Lol
@@ChrisvilleUSA millimeter lol.
It was nice to see the longhorn next to other knives particularly the recon scout since I was literally wondering last night how they compared.
I love the scout. But the Longhorn wins
@peterbiltknifeguy that's good to hear because I loved my recon scout. Gonna have to pick one of these up. The scrappy part is ill want a better sheath and that will probably cost as much as the knife but oh well.
I got two knives in my SHTF bag:
SOG Seal Pup Elite (no serrations) and a Esee 6.
Good enough.
Longhorn buoy by far for me personally looks awesome too 🔪 🖤 👌🏻
Nice Keychain you have there 😉👍🏻
Have wonderful holidays Man 🔪✨️❄️
Thanks, you too!
Nice line up brother
Appreciate it.

Lol. Thank you
@@peterbiltknifeguy man you just keep em coming every time I love it! Been filling that drawer but going broke too lol!
Awesome video bro! Any one of those knives will do just fine.
Thank you

Well rounded
Sick Tops knives!
If you get the chance, you should check out The Terava Escrama. Also a great blade. 🙂
Lol
6:53 ? The RS also has 3 positions. With the top guard chopped off is also pretty comfortable in the choke op position.
Love Tops! I’ve got the Kuma KAGE for my Apocalypse blade 8:57
Awesome
Aww I Hate the Benchmade puko, hahaha, I got the Leatherman arc for Christmas my first Magna cut blade, I was looking at the Bark River fin and Bone knife, in magna cut, but I want a Leatherman
Awesome. I didn’t get a single knife for Christmas 😑
@@peterbiltknifeguy yeah your kids got that funding
Cool knives. Though idk aboyt the 1 knife thing. I figure our ancestors tended to carry mutiples for a reason.

😂
❤❤❤😊
Nice
What about the Tops Steel Eagle 107C or the Zombie Tools Felon?
Don’t own it
@@peterbiltknifeguy you should. They are definitely SHTF beefy, burley blades. Especially the Zombie Tools Felon.👍👍👍
I want an esee so bad
You can't go wrong. I have almost every Esee blade made. For shtf the Junglas is a damn beast. But I also love my Esee 5 too.
@hillbillyfromtheswamp6223 I wish I can afford any of them
The BK 2 over the Benchmade.
Why is there not a version of that with a picture of Danny Trejo on it?
The el Chete?
1. I thought the title said " Shit " 🤣
2. I was oh no, Ned is gonna get it. 😂
3. I agree with all these knives including the tiny tank.💯😎✌️
Lol. Awesome. I love the tiny tank 😂
The TOPS Skullcrusher Extreme Sidekick (SXS) is the best and last knife youll ever need. I highly recommend one.
Bench made is overpriced!! Not for me there are much more better options!!
👍
