yeah there are alot of people that are finding him at Walmart. i found him tonight also. the only one they had. my box was dinged up too. i got Megatron card with mine. the yellowing on TigAtron isnt as bad and i was hearing. good figure. nice and tight joints on him. Great review. =)
Thanks for the honest review as always @Patriot Prime....I think a lot of ppl are gonna regret their assumption about this figure based on their feelings of Cheetor because everyone thought he was gonna simply be an upsized Cheetor...side note: I love your collection in the background & I wanna be just like u when I grow up lol lol...keep up the good fight
Ah, a Bert The Stormtrooper First Impressions Review! Great review, he's a fantastic figure. I agree the paint apps., and face sculpt are dead on. Like the G1 figure, also not a fan of storing the gutgun on his belly, in beast mode.
I managed to get Rhinox , Kup, & Shadow Panther at my Walmart & Skorpinox at Meijer’s & though they gave me some trouble transforming, but I managed to get them transformed.
Haven't seen yet. I still have a few to pick up. Scorponok for one (though thats one reissue I may get) debating Shadow Panther and then well the fossilizers been on the fence. Man Tigertron looks spot on to animation model. I like the dirty white hair as you said looks like been put in the wild. Remember seeing him in the snow in the show so works there. Specially with snow on the way. Easily gonna be a grab when see him.
Great figure, here in Argentina months ago the first wave of Kingdom just arrived (not all figures) but at prices that it is better not to mention, they leave your wallet like Cybertron.
Might get 2 Tigatrons. Do the 2nd up to look like my bigger gray cat of 10 yrs & do a Shadow Panther up like my current black cat with white bits (half face, inner ears, crouch, chest).
I'm late to the party (I've had him for a couple months now). But yeah, the biggest thing about the Kingdom Tigatron & Cheetor that I like is that those panels with the wannabe speakers are more like wings at their backs instead of the wonky collars of the Masterpiece counterparts. Yeah, Tigatron, Rhinox, & Dinobot were some big boys in robot mode, with Dinobot probably being the tallest (should be half a head taller than Rhinox at most). Until he became Optimal Optimus, Optimus Primal was pretty much a runt by comparison. (Transmetal Optimus Primal had it worse; because of how his transformation at the legs worked, his ape mode was actually even SMALLER than his robot mode!!) That gut gun has a funny thing: akin to some weapons (Siege/Kingdom Sideswipe, Siege/Kingdom Mirage, Siege Hound, Generations Selects Cybertron Defense Hotshot, etc.), Tigatron's gut gun is actually two parts!! The gun barrel is a separate piece with a 5mm peg. You're spot-on about the gut gun from the original Tigatron/Cheetor/Shadow Panther being a water gun, too. So was the T-Rex head of the original BW Megatron. I'm curious as to why Hasbro's designers went the Cheetor route with the tail (make it a whip; for Cheetor, it's been said that this was based on Transmetal Cheetor's weapon anyway), especially when there was enough of a panel that a little more plastic could've made the proper butt gun...
