    Generally agree with you but I feel like you kinda missed the point of that original tweet I made. I don't care if people want to cover serious tragedies- we should be allowed to say what we want.
    My point is that we have a responsibility as people with large audiences to take care in how we cover sensitive issues. xQc is genuinely too stupid to understand why reacting to the current conflict the same way he would a tiktok of a guy falling over is tasteless and harmful, as exemplified by him flaunting his wealth as a response to the criticism that he's making money off of irresponsible coverage of war crimes

    • @Plexiscore
      @Plexiscore Год назад +11

      It's not like he scripted and planned his reaction. He was caught off guard when someone sent him the clip, and that was how he genuinely reacted to it. Him flaunting his wealth was dumb, but he said that he felt that people didn't want to have an actual dialogue with him, and just wanted to hate on him. Since he was frustrated about that, he was kinda being self destructive and "gave them what they wanted".

    • @sumicmusic
      @sumicmusic Год назад +9

      xQc's response was a bad response on purpose. They're not doing this to criticize him, if they actually cared they'd go after everyone, instead of ganging up on specifically xQc. I actually respect Muta for saying that xQc isn't the only one who's doing this here, because that shows that he actually cares about the issue and not just trying to dogpile on him. xQc's response was purely just to make people mad, because people just want to be mad at him anyway

    For the curious, the Israel Palestine situation isn't complicated at all. A century or so ago there was a thing called the "Balfour Declaration" was created by Britain, and it said that they would help facilitate a migration of Jewish people from all over. It said Palestine would be their national home, without the input of the people living in the area. After WWII, the state of Israel as it is known today was created, and the UN created a map that drew up borders for the native population of the area along with the Jewish population. Over the decades, Israel started claiming land within the borders of Palestine by force, which was illegal by international law. It wasn't enforced, and now the land Palestine is vastly smaller than it should be. One part of their land left is a small Detroit sized place called the Gaza Strip, which is the most densely populated place on earth. It is also one of the worst places on earth to live. The conditions are similar to apartheid South Africa, and they are extremely poor with little access to the basic necessities like clean water and adequate healthcare for the 2+ million inhabitants. They are surrounded by the stolen Israeli land on three sides, and Israel's well funded, high tech military has been assisting people stealing more land from the Palestinians. Before the recent October 7th incident, smaller scale stuff like this has happened for a long time, with over 5000 Palestinians killed and 250 Israeli's killed between 2008-2020. With Israel's support, the current government in Palestine is ran by Hamas. The leader of Israel is on record saying Hamas being in charge is a good thing because it destabilizes the Gaza Strip, making it easier for Israel to control the area and continue slowly colonizing more and more of their land. There has not been an election in Gaza since Hamas rose to power in 2006, and only 7% of the people who voted for them still live in the area. Hamas was responsible for the terrorist attack that killed over 1000+ Israeli's and resulted in the kidnapping of over 200 people. In response, Israel's literally cut the water, power, and internet to all of Gaza which constitutes "collective punishment", a war crime. Also, for weeks they have bombed and sent missiles into Gaza which has killed over 9,500 people in a little over 3 weeks. More than 95% have been innocent civilians, with over 3000 children being killed. They have bombed dozens of medical centers making it harder for Palestinians to get any aid they might need. Israel bombed a refugee camp full of civilians twice, killing many hundreds of innocent people. They do all of this in the name of destroying Hamas, even though Hamas's highest level leaders are in Qatar. There are a lot of Hamas members in Gaza who hide themselves in tunnels and other locations, and an Israeli spokesperson told a news anchor they bombed the refugee camp twice because there "might" have been "some" high level Hamas members hiding there. The information was not even confirmed before killing hundreds of people. After the terrorist attack weeks ago by Hamas, it's been a one way slaughter of innocent people that has displaced over a million Palestinians by forcing them to go south or be destroyed by bombs. Half of Palestine's buildings and infrastructure have been completely obliterated, and many thousands of people are still trapped under the rubble of the destroyed buildings. It's a grim situation, and anyone with a little knowledge and empathy can recognize that Israel and it's military is committing an ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians from the little poor land they have left. This is also a war crime, and due to the sheer amounts of dead Palestinians piling up, most of the world is starting to realize what's going on. This is the single biggest atrocity that has happened in the 21st century because of how many war crimes have been committed. It's not complicated. Palestine is living under the rule of a terroristic government that they don't want, and the actions of their government have resulted in the regular people of Palestine getting killed, injured, and displaced on a scale that is hard to imagine. Israel is creating more terrorists by killing whole families of people, and the ones left will become radicalized and want to seek revenge in the future because they have nothing left to live for. Israel is not defending itself. Killing 8x the amount of innocent civilians in retaliation is not self defense.

      Yeah, this opinion is the best when coming to this conflict, I really liked that take from Muta just because he said a criticism that is talked about here in Israel. Its super annoying that people attack the groups that are being damaged, the Palestinians (mostly from the racists here, dunno) and the families who Hamas killed/kidnapped their loved ones.
      As much as it sounds like I'm wearing a tinfoil hat, the people who support the Palestinian side/SJW don't realize that we are fighting actual Terrorists, and that quite a significant amount of Palestinians despise Hamas (source: I've encountered here and there) ,they don't like us either but I don't blame them.
      TL;DR: you're not the bad guy, your opinion is the apt. one for this topic, innocent lives should not in danger just due to blatant racism...

    People getting "political information" from people like XQC or Hassan are very much the reason why so many people are uninformed or misinformed. Especially if you *ONLY* get your news from them. You shouldn't get all your news from a single source ever, but I think you need to do extra due diligence when it's from these guys.
    - XQC isn't the most intelligent person, so I wouldn't trust him to curate information about anything. If he was giving out information about tying your shoes, I'd still want to check other sources.
    -Hassan has obvious biases. He often lies, omits information, and sometimes just makes shit up. Remember his uncle is the TyT guy. He'd still probably tell you that Kyle Rittenhouse shot 3 black guys in cold blood even though you can watch the whole trial where he was found not guilty of shooting 3 white people that were attacking him.
    EDIT: 4:47 Stop with this "misinformation" BS. There is no such thing. There is only Information, Lies, and mistakes.
    Ironically, it tends to be the people trying to protect everyone from "misinformation" who tend to be the purveyors of most of the "misinformation" through blatant *LIES* (often lies of omission), or what would normally be considered a _mistake_ because they "report" (I use this term very loosely) on things before getting all the facts in and either do the minimum effort in correcting it or don't bother at all because the truth doesn't suit them.

      I watched every second of the trial and saw the evidence. They went over all of it many times. Often frame by frame. The trial was televised on RUclips. You can watch every second of it too.
      He did not cross state-lines. The gun was kept at his friend's house who lives in the state it happened. He picked up the weapon in state.
      The people he killed:
      #1: A pedophile, who has been in prison for raping a 10 year old boy and has mental issues, that had been aggressive and shouting racist comments all night toward many people. He started fires, which Kyle helped put out. That's why he threatened Kyle that he would kill him if saw him alone.
      He saw Kyle alone later that night and chased him. Kyle tried to run away, but the guy caught up to him and threw something at him and grabbed Kyle's gun. That's when Kyle shot him and killed him.
      Kyle was protecting himself. Kyle panicked and tried running toward the police to turn himself in.
      That's when a mob of people chased after him. While running he fell to the ground and some people caught up to him.
      #2 That's when Huber, who has been in prison twice (once for violating probation for strangling his brother, and the second time for kicking his pregnant sister). caught up to Kyle and kit him in the head with a skateboard, which can kill someone (so attempted murder?), and tried to grab the gun, which is when Kyle shot him.
      #3 Kyle was still on the ground, which is when Gaige ran up to him so Kyle pointed his gun at him. Gaige put his hands up, so Kyle lowered his weapon since he didn't have any intent to kill anybody. That's when Gaige pointed his pistol at Kyle's head and Kyle shot him in the arm.
      Kyle only shot to protect himself. He didn't take extra shots or shots that may have missed and hit someone in the background. He even tried to avoid shooting Gaige at all until the pistol was pointed at him.

    I think the issue stems more from the insensitivity and a lack of knowledge given to the situation by xQc and his team. The screenshots, the title, and the collection of clips can easily give off the appearance that xQc is using this conflict purely as a cash grab rather than an intent look into understanding the matter and later deriving his own conclusion from it. Hopefully, normal people would be of the understanding that a person is allowed to investigate a matter so long as they have a willingness to view sources with context and rationality. However, xQc should have a greater awareness of what is happening and what can result from his words.

    9:27 The situation is more complex than "Terrorists vs the good guys". Sure they are terrorists and civilians shouldn't be dying. Perhaps there's a reason they were pushed to resort to that though.
    It's like someone invading your home. They let you live, but they lock you in your bathroom. They go on living in your house like squatters, and you're fine living in your bathroom. Except when they start cutting power and/or water to your bathroom whenever they please. From time to time they also block the door-dash deliveries you've been using to feed yourself.
    Ever wonder why Israel looks all rich and modern while Gaza looks like a 3rd world country or why Gaza has walls around it? It's almost as if some people are doing things that are similar to what happened to them during WW2. I wonder if, during WW2, those people would be called terrorists for fighting back against the people who put them in camps and killed whoever was in the way. Hmm.
    For the record: I support neither side. I don't think civilians should be dying (on either side). I want the situation to be resolved peacefully, but I don't think it will ever happen while governments worldwide blindly support Israel. They aren't perfectly innocent in the situation.
    I'm worried it's too late though. The time to see through the "favorite child" act and have an honest sit down at the negotiating table was probably decades ago. The grudge runs too deep now.
