I’m also sick of seeing the “you’re stupid if you haven’t done this already! You were supposed to get 6400 dollars from the government yesterday!” Ads. Why is RUclips literally allowing scammers to advertise on their website? It’s insane.
The sad part is that it's very common. There are actual good games out there(for a mobile game), but they are in the minority, the majority just dumps their resources into making overdramatized ads.

I'm fairly certain a lot of creators on this platform wouldn't want this kind of garbage on their videos.
i am seconds away from checking videos marked as 'for kids' for these kinds of ads so i can get screenshots and anonymously email it to several news medias so they can get a good story
i get ads for actual fraud too, theres one ive been getting recently about claiming “$6,400 government relief aid for covid” but its just there to steal your money
YT: "You can't break our TOS." YT with ads: "Is that CP!?!? That's ok as long as you give us money. " You know the problem with YT is the people who own it. AND there's YT music, TV, and ofc YT premium (lol). Oh, did you forget about YT kids? Yup. So did youtube themselves, and that app / website is disgusting. Who's really at fault? The people who are bend by the TOS and having videos removed for no reason or the fact that YT ignores the rot it allows on the other cheek. Tbh, YT, at this point, needs to dramatically change or die, and a new type of YT should rise (and not be bought by a major company just to have the same thing happen again)
It could be easily fixed with laws mandating that theres a minimum % of the ad time or loop in the case of browser ads showing clearly labeled actual gameplay where cutscenes dont count towards that % that needs to be met and additionally where the mandatory gameplay displayed has to be representative of the average user experience for the bulk of the game i.e mandate that the ad has to show the main game loop rather than showcasing some cute minigame that is not representative of most of the gameplay time. That way even in a 30s ad or loop in the case of browser ads, the consumer can see straight away what the gameplay is actually like and be adequately informed whether its something of interest to them or not. Obfuscating the actual product behind cutscenes, art, or unrelated or uncharacteristic gameplay should be illegal even for free products.
Most people also do not care about products in ads, so it's a complete waste of time to even watch them and it's pathetic why people can't always skip them right away
You barely scratched the surface of these terrible game ads. There’s so many strange ones out there. And I don’t their words to describe how strange they truly are!!!
"And here she walks out into the beginning of Red Dead Redemption 2" got me so good, because I had the exact same thought at that moment when I saw the snowy cottage
Twitter is replete with misleading mobile game advertising right now. There are community notes below the ads alerting people that the animations and gameplay in the ads do not actually appear in the game. It's like you go to the restaurant, you see the cheeseburger on the menu, you order the cheeseburger and they give you a bowl of steamed clams. It's amazing, however considering that most of the respectable advertisers have left Twitter it's not surprising that only the snake oil salesmen and Skymall knock-offs are left.
My family didn’t have a lot of money back then so iPhone games and flash games were the most common thing I played. Stuff like Doodle Army, Trenches, NOVA, and Modern Combat 2 were really fun games to play with a one time purchase of I think under $10. But those days are long gone sadly.
RUclips: "We can't have you swear or do controversial jokes on your channel, it's not advertiser friendly!" The advertisers: (put up weird disturbing Elsagate-level stuff)
I don't have youtube premium, so I'm bombarded with these ads on shorts, these shorts can't be commented on, but can be liked. The games show demotesizable content that's never like the game. An example is Game of Khans, how is this okay on youtube
I also get fed those Hero Wars ads all the time. The worst part is that one of those literally says something like 'Are you tired of those game ads that show you one thing, but when you download it, it's a totally different game?' The audacity.
Literally yesterday while I was watching YT, I got an ad for some random mobile game that are probably a Pokémon clone. That is fine, but what fucked is that the ad literally show nothing but a Mashup of various Pokémon anime clips, there are clips with Ash, clips with Red from Pokémon Origin, and others with text and audio advertising the game on top of it. No gameplay is shown to see what it looked like, of course, but the app icon in the corner shows a creature that is CLEARLY not a Pokémon. How the fuck they got away with that shit is beyond me. Meanwhile a 5 second clip of an anime can get you an instant strike.
The question continues however, for those saying Adblock is for situations like this If youtube were to fix deceptive ads on their platform would you really remove Adblock
@@ztykowork I find it funny when people such as yourself contend that your safety is at stake over an ad where the game isn’t really about pulling the pin….
"spends hundreds to be on top of leaderboard." I wish. When I played during the first year of King's Raid, the #1 Global Raid player mentioned he had dumped $30k+ into the game. There's a reason why many freemium games have PvP/Leaderboard elements.
So funny that this is the video for today. Yesterday My friend in our Instagram meme chat sent one of those mobile game ads and it was of a dragon nursing her baby dragon (it was zoomed in on the dragons nipples) and then some human kills the mama dragon proceeds to cut off her horn as a trophy and then the camera cuts to the baby dragon crying because it’s mama dragon got killed. Someone actually animated that shit. Horrendous.
Great video. Reminded me of an ad I saw on one of the mobile games I play. It was either Bubble Blitz or Bubble Mania, and it legit starts that if you don't "earn 10k in a month" you gotta play this game. Total gambling scam, can't imagine the number of financially struggling people being tricked by these type of false claims.
Ive seen ads that go from reminding me of the ones that used to show up on the tv like 20 years ago (dramatically increased reverb ones like those old car deal ads, IYKYK) particularly from TEMU, to absolutely bizarre and disgusting stuff looking like its out of something from youtube kids, and then to that annoying ai voice from those dr squatch soap bar ads, and then to ryan reynolds just being himself.
I had an ad pop up on Facebook for a choose your own adventure style game. They show a half naked chick and your two options were help her or mo***t her. I reported it and somehow it didn't violate community guidelines.
I imagine they're all cheap or stolen assets haphazardly thrown together, so neither probably requires any effort, and I wouldn't expect the average mobile developer to make any kind of effort in anything they do anyway.
As someone that watches Vinny Vinesauce videos and he does some ads watching, when it gets to the mobile ads, Its gets vile, mobile games ads is a cursed land.
the fact im being FORCED to watch ads like this is very shitty, not only that but youtube refreshes my page whenever i get done watching an ad reseting it to the start
I'll admit that I'm a degen that plays Nikke, which has very suprising good story, just the intro tutorial has some real depressing themes. *BUT* , the ads are literally soft core porn, and Nikke is not the only game to do this, Genshin, Blue Protocol and a bunch of other gatcha games. Some are borderline flatout porn. And RUclips is not the only place those are at, almost all "free to play" games and free apps that have ads have them, around here there's a bus app that this year added very intrusive ads and the ads are horrible. I wonder why more and more people block ads, maybe if they curated them as much as they do with RUclips videos people wouldn't do that. The ads that show things that don't have anything to do with the game should be flatout illegal. It's blatant false advertisement.
If u think about it, it makes sense. U get demonitized because yt doesn't want to lose ads. Ads don't get heavily blocked, because youtube doesn't want to lose ads. It's like customer vs employee. The customer isn't gonna get punished for swearing. If that analogy makes sense.
the fact that the main incentive of content creators nowadays (game creators, youtube channels, especially for kids, to name a few) is no longer to provide entertainment, but to instead gain easy quick profits off of microtransactions and adsense is just dystopian.
There's also these "Early Access" games on the Play store (that I have seen ads for through social media) that are rated E or T on the app page, but have M rated, or even full on uncensored action going on. I know since I would try them out to see how legit they are and record it. More often than not, they aren't. There were some hidden gems I found, but the majority were cash grabs and/or questionably rated content.
Same with Genshin and Star Rail...and mobile rhythm games. I think the worst are those ads that advertise codes that give way more than they actually give. Like 100 dias instead of 10mil diamonds/premium currency.
Dude these ads are so annoying. I’ve even tried reporting them but the system implemented to actually go about it is so difficult and they literally will not face any repercussions. I try to block them and it says RUclips has personalized these ads for you and that I can’t get rid of them basically they are forced onto me. Like when did RUclips become one of these off brand bootleg websites with boobie ads.
It's probably there just so they can avoid getting sued for false advertising. Don't expect it to get any more complex than what Muta showed, nor being more relevant to the game than the pity reward he got for having his time wasted.
For the record, there IS a game called, "Yeah! You Want 'Those Games,' Right? So Here You Go! Now, Let's See You Clear Them!" (yes, that's the actual name), made up of those puzzles based on those bait-and-switch ads, without the switching...or the ads. I don't think it's free, but whatever. It has 250 levels spread across five game types (Cash Run, Color Lab, Number Tower, Parking Lot, and Pin Pull). If you're interested, it's on the Switch and PC.
I'm that one guy who has nothing going on, and I recently returned to Shadow Fight 3 again.. And I'm not gonna lie, keeping up with State of Survival ads' LORE is funny and engaging
Since the begening of our beloved sega and Nintendo consoles...the money for the AAA industry is mostly from the Gambling Mafia. Now with mobile game industry..it got to the point the industry always wanted it.. They hate games like Baldur gates 3 and Harry poter legacy because it capture childrens away from their predatory buisness model of training new gamblers.
RUclips completely disregarded blocking of these ads in my experience... If anything, choosing to block them brought on a revenge style onslaught from these aHoles
This is why I despise mobile games. Majority of these trash are either "pay to win" or "pay or be spammed by ads". Some games you have to watch ads longer than you can actually play. Or you have to pay for progression that is time gated otherwise you have to wait 72 hrs before it's completed.. Meanwhile timmy from the opposing clan spent $20 to skip that time gate and now his million dollar army is on the way to destroy your base. Mobile games are so predatory it makes pay to win PC games look like a solid 10/10 game of the year in comparison.
Can we also delete the cringe mobile game ads with real world scenario? “My wife left me for another man with 1,000,000 more power in War of Kingdoms” BRUH NO WONDER THEY GET WHALES 😂
Anyone ever get that ad with the large fox lady, in Daisy Dukes? The game ad, I think it was for a game, but it was just a zoom in on the foxe's titas, and her butt. Not the point, but it kind of is, these games remind me of the Spider-Man/Elsa/Hulk videos from way back when. Children love or at least are far more interested in these kinds of videos, or games, and those are the people they want to sell their microtransactions to. Two grown-ups with babies do horrible, and silly stuff to them. Means nothing to me, but I stopped playing any kind of "House" years, and years ago.
Those ads that advertise aimbots, cheat engines or straight up selling game accounts didnt disappear completely either but imagine youtube doing something unless they are absolutely forced to.
I’m getting so many “save the king” ads, car ads, ads for other states or countries, and of course traditional scam ads Only mobile game I play is fallout shelter. Granted if I want additional “free” stuff I have to suffer through these mobile game ads there too. Actually seems less egregious on fallout shelter than it is on RUclips.
I was watching the ads you showed for demonstration purposes at 2X Speed, and yet I still borderline had to throw up. Boy am I glad that I got an Adblocker. Especially that second one, yikes
Even if RUclips becomes stricter with the Ads put out, it wouldn’t really put an end to the absurdity. Only reason I’m saying this is because the team behind these “promising” game ads, if so some might be desperate enough to always find a way around it.. “Sadly”. But hey on the good side it’s hilarious watching other RUclipsrs react to ironic game ads. 😂

OG Evony was so much fun. One of the first online games I ever got into.
Im so glad mutas covering this, this has been a serious issue for awhile now. I cant tell you howmuch ads ive had to block or report cause of the repetitive inappropriate ads playing. From Lying and false advertising to literal soft porn
The government needs to ban mobile game ads that are predatory and misleading
I’m also sick of seeing the “you’re stupid if you haven’t done this already! You were supposed to get 6400 dollars from the government yesterday!” Ads. Why is RUclips literally allowing scammers to advertise on their website? It’s insane.
Fr, it’s always that one random guy, Steve Harvey, Andrew Tate, or the Rock😂
@@kingMT514 I just got the Andrew Tate one, it’s almost always Joe Rogan too 😭😭😭
The sad part is that it's very common. There are actual good games out there(for a mobile game), but they are in the minority, the majority just dumps their resources into making overdramatized ads.
wait… what gems are there?
Yes, share the gems please

@@Bankai2169 gonna shill for shattered pixel dungeon here. Free game, has no advertisements whatsoever, and it's enough of a solid game that it got a steam release (with overwhelmingly positive reviews)
Bloody Bastards, fun fighting game, free too.
This is exactly what I've been saying during this whole adblock debacle, RUclips shows me ads that I get physically disgusted over yet for some reason the advertisers get to pick and choose rules on how we run OUR CONTENT when their content is absurd, I mean they don't want their ads on our content unless we tailor it for them so why don't we get to make the same demands? I'm fairly certain a lot of creators on this platform wouldn't want this kind of garbage on their videos.
i keep getting ads that are straight up scams or incredibly sexual even on non age-restricted videos. it’s really common for anime mobile games
Ikr, RUclips really needs to update their TOS for ads and actually enforce it
i am seconds away from checking videos marked as 'for kids' for these kinds of ads so i can get screenshots and anonymously email it to several news medias so they can get a good story
@@JNJNRobin1337 dew it
i get ads for actual fraud too, theres one ive been getting recently about claiming “$6,400 government relief aid for covid” but its just there to steal your money
@@JNJNRobin1337This would be such a good story. Please do it.
As someone that geniunely worked on cool mobile games, seeing this break my heart and soul :/
YT: "You can't break our TOS."
YT with ads: "Is that CP!?!? That's ok as long as you give us money. "
You know the problem with YT is the people who own it.
Thanks fed for liking my posts.
@@Thee_Saturn your welcome

If Advertisers can get away with it, then they need to remove it from the guidelines completely.

They only listen when governments nuke their walls down.
For real.

@@IPutFishInAWashingMachine see?
True, but at the end of the day, their just double standard.
This is why people use ad blockers and or RUclips really needs a ad vetting department or something.
Most people also do not care about products in ads, so it's a complete waste of time to even watch them and it's pathetic why people can't always skip them right away
@@finkamain1621 also if you dont skip the ads, it keeps playing more ads lol

You know the video is gonna be a banger when it's removed and renamed on upload
muta, you are in fact, in all honesty, in true factuality, in one hundred percent certainty, in all proof and evidence, an Indian man
My family didn’t have a lot of money back then so iPhone games and flash games were the most common thing I played. Stuff like Doodle Army, Trenches, NOVA, and Modern Combat 2 were really fun games to play with a one time purchase of I think under $10. But those days are long gone sadly.
RUclips: "We can't have you swear or do controversial jokes on your channel, it's not advertiser friendly!"
The advertisers: (put up weird disturbing Elsagate-level stuff)
The other day i got a pyramid scheme scam ad while watching youtube on my tv. RUclips needs ads quality control ASAP. That shit is disgusting.
I don't have youtube premium, so I'm bombarded with these ads on shorts, these shorts can't be commented on, but can be liked. The games show demotesizable content that's never like the game. An example is Game of Khans, how is this okay on youtube
Money
Not to mention the scam ads that promise to people to get Switch games for free.
I also get fed those Hero Wars ads all the time. The worst part is that one of those literally says something like 'Are you tired of those game ads that show you one thing, but when you download it, it's a totally different game?'
The audacity.
I’ve been following this a while. It’s really awful, but really funny.
The question continues however, for those saying Adblock is for situations like this
If youtube were to fix deceptive ads on their platform would you really remove Adblock
I would whitelist RUclips if they put in the effort to fix their platform, but they won’t.
All it takes is some ad vetting, but i guess it costs too much money for our safety...
yes .... if the ads would be not that horrible and partly long i would
@@ztykowork I find it funny when people such as yourself contend that your safety is at stake over an ad where the game isn’t really about pulling the pin….
@@Obamanamamama its more about advertisements as a whole, but in this context my comment does look funny over "pull the pin" game ads.
"spends hundreds to be on top of leaderboard."
I wish.
RUclips when someone swears: 😡😡
RUclips at scam and inappropriate ads: 😊🥰❤️
RUclips: "Using adblockers is against TOS, it's for your protection!"
Also RUclips:
I had an ad pop up on Facebook for a choose your own adventure style game. They show a half naked chick and your two options were help her or mo***t her. I reported it and somehow it didn't violate community guidelines.
what gets me is the mini games are probably easier to make then the actual game with all the quests and base building.
I imagine they're all cheap or stolen assets haphazardly thrown together, so neither probably requires any effort, and I wouldn't expect the average mobile developer to make any kind of effort in anything they do anyway.
Flashbacks to the Evertale ads that make you think you're gonna play a Pokémon horror game.
I *_still_* get those to this day.
Vinny makes watching these videos hilarious af 🔥
I don't know why, but those *"Hero Wars"* ads always made me really uncomfortable and I can't skip it until after those 5 seconds
Props to Muta for risking Jail Time, just to spread more awareness to the viewers.
"This game is so good. Mommy has a card with the cheat code printed right on the front"
As a Nikke enjoyer, I can at least say the advertising is accurate and the game is actually really good
Same with Genshin and Star Rail...and mobile rhythm games.
I think the worst are those ads that advertise codes that give way more than they actually give. Like 100 dias instead of 10mil diamonds/premium currency.

Speaking of these false ads. A developer made playable versions of these ads in a Steam game.
If they make even a single dollar off of these ads, that's a dollar too much.
RUclips: AdBlock is against our ToS.
Also RUclips: Show disgusting, misleading, fake and dangerous Ads that falls against consumer ToS.
The only way to fix YT adds is to make media fuss about it that will scare advertisers.
Ooooh now there's an idea! Blame violent behavior in kids on mobile gaming ads and the boomers will be rushing to get them canceled!
...the legacy advertisers are already scared of YT.
That's why YT takes ads from these new shady online only advertisers.
I think this is the first time I've ever seen the pin pulling mechanic actually IN a game.

Even Homescapes and GardenScapes ads are fake I still love those Games !!!

Hello bois and gals
I’m getting so many “save the king” ads, car ads, ads for other states or countries, and of course traditional scam ads
Only mobile game I play is fallout shelter.
