- Immortal Technique Reaction Dance With The Devil is the greatest song Iv'e ever heard!! I can't believe I missed out on the song. However I'm happy I got to it now with a better understanding of life. The story telling, lyrics, voice of the artist, and the instrumental were all in sync. This is a masterpiece!

Dance With The Devil - Immortal Technique Reaction | Greatest Song Iv'e Ever Heard!!
I’M NOT CUTE I’M A BAD MOFO! - Приколы
Sorry for the audio quality guys, mic audio got corrupted. BUT MY GOODNESS!! This is literally one of the best songs Iv'e ever listened to. Can't believe I missed this all these years. Recorded this a week ago and it's been stuck on my mind sense!
I'm going to recommend an odd song, but an odd artist. It's a bit in the folk song theme. It "Pretty Little One" by Steve Martin... It's simular, yet completely different. Lol I know that statement lacks logic, but even if you don't do a reaction, I think you will understand once you hear it.
Fire reaction that's all that matters
This song came out while I was in HS, blew my mind too. Glad to see a fresh reaction to it, I haven't heard it for a minute. But still know every word 🤣
Tech is fantastic. Dude actually lives what he preaches. He has a orphanage in Afghanistan for the children affected by the conflict.
If you like this you should check out uncommon valor by Vinnie Paz
"I'm fallen and I can't turn back .." that line has always hit so different.
Survival of the fittest! 🎶
RIp Prodigy
It's a sample from Mob Deep if ya didn't know
Especially how it happens only after that 3rd verse. After Billy committed that unforgivable sin, there was no turning back. The devil successfully captured his soul at that moment.
@@TR13400 This was probably one of the best use of sampling in hip hop in the history of sampling in hip hop.
I used to be a total metalhead, listened to nothing but death metal and deathcore until I met some friends back when I was like 18 or 19 and they showed me this song. It's hard to put into words what this song makes you think, you did a great job explaining things as you perceive them.
My personal devil is my addiction to alcohol. Here's something I wrote while I was locked up last year because of alcohol. "I fill up my cup, I fill up my liver. Drown out my heart, make believe that it's alright to dance with my demons. The devil's slow dance. Step by step, I stumble down the stairs towards Hell."
Just a bit of a whole poem I wrote about my addiction, but when I wrote this I totally forgot about this song and didn't even connect the two until just now. Still going strong in my recovery, almost 8 months clean! 💪
Proud of you fr
I don’t know you man but I hope you’re still going strong. Sadly my dad was also addicted to alcohol and thanks to that he hasn’t been a part of my life. The consequences of that addiction are not only self destructive but they affect those around you. I hope you’re staying strong not only for yourself but for those around you. You got this man.
That poem was beautifully haunting.. Hope you doing better man
"constant elevation causes expansion" -rakim
keep it up bro catch them W's
well done addiction is a beast or maybe 100 beasts. and they are hard beasts to kill.
Hip Hop at its finest when it was lyrical, poetic and with a message... Another wonderful reaction as always TooBlunt Hope you have a wonderful weekend
Perfection here. And thank you, hope you so you:)
You had the best insight into this out of all reaction videos of the song. Nicely done.
💯💯
agreed 100%
So basically, when he got locked up he met a dude who told him this story and why he got locked up, he re told that story in that mans shoes.
Tech is inconsistent with how he tells the story. The way I heard it, the guy he met in prison was in because they couldn't find an alleged rapist so they killed his son so they could catch him at the funeral. "Hood justice" taken too far. And he used that as inspiration i guess. But the story is completely different.
"I can recognize my moms walk from a mile away, IDIOT" 💀💀💀
I remember hearing this song for the first time around 2005 and being mind blown. Glad to see it getting a second life.
cap
@@bonkywonky17 how u know hes cappin? The song is 21 years old it came out in 2001
Serious I hear this around the same time to and was blown away with this destructive masterpiece
This song will always shift the souls who listens so impactful true art.
This beat, absolutely chilling definitely adds to the dark vibe of the song
Industrial Revolution, 3rd World, 4th Branch, Obnoxious, Harlem Renaissance, Internally Bleeding, Point of No Return, The Cause of Death, Dominant Species, Hollywood Drive-by, You Never Know... ALL AMAZING
Agreed. A great list.
One of the best reactions to this song. Great to see you processing the deeper meanings and implications of the verses. Immortal Technique’s storytelling is on another level.
Man's a story teller for sure. Heard this song when I was like 14 or 15 and it will stay with me till I die. Dudes an amazing artist.
IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE 'YOU NEVER KNOW ' LYRICS / THIS ONE IS A LOVE STORY (It will make up for this one ) Thankyou for your reaction !!! LOVE FROM GEORGIA
A great song!
Agreed
This song was a story that his cellmate told him when immortal was in prison. It’s why his cellmate got locked up i think
I'm not really into hip hop but this randomly came on my Spotify a few weeks back and I can't stop thinking about it, Jesus. It has really stuck with me. I like darker songs but holy fuck, this is something else.
This song is absolutely legendary. 💯 the fact that so many reactors have never heard this song blows my mind. Kudos to the people who suggested it! Great video!❤
I’m glad this dude understands every line is something different
this is probably one of the best reactions on youtube to this song how your realizing its so real and adressing how much story telling it is props man
Absolutely appreciate your response. The devil...if you take it right back in the track...started as a dream. Watch your thoughts and HOW your thoughts MANIFEST...
✌️
Instantly had to subscribe. Not many people understand the deeper meaning behind this song . It's an eerie vibe but beneath the surface it's a warning to young people. Respect . You can really break a song down .
This man is the truth! 4th branch is another deep song I know I'm not a patron but he's giving out wonderful knowledge
Immortal Technique - 3rd World is a another really good song of his. This is a great reaction video, your analysis is spot on and I love how you back the video up just a little bit after unpausing so you don't miss a single bar.
I heard this at a very young age when the song came out if you grew up in nyc around that time you have to have heard it I remember playing it for months definitely taught me one thing don’t get easily manipulated no matter what the rewards might be greed is devil on its own
“You never know” is another really good song by him
I hardly ever comment, but your analysis and viewpoint was so spot! Absolute Great job. Wonderful insight.
We share the same name :) thanks for the feedback pal
So he did an interview this was purely a storytelling song but so hard hitting people thought it was fact
“The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”
Can't go wrong with immortal every song has a deep meaning if you have a deeper mindset of understanding dudes bars are raw and heavy
Immortal Technique - Point of no return
Immortal Technique - The Cause of Death
Immortal Technique - You Never Know
Three more bangers by him.
Man, I saw you did this and you were getting hyped about it and I am sitting here thinking, "wait for the end though!" I fucking love Immortal Technique!
Right! I was thinking the same thing!
Im a classic rock guy, time to open my mind to classic rap...
you never know fucking hit me mad hard.
Frontlines
You Never Know is my second favorite song from him.. can you guess the first
Bro, you haven't listened to any Immortal Techniqe?! You gotta check out all his songs, and collabs. I would start with the fourth branch of the government and his song with Chuck D and Brother Ali. If you want deep lyrics filled with Truth, and poetry.... Immortal Techniqe is pretty much on the list of the gold standard.
P.S. this is his darkest and most controversial song. Kind of his "Stan".
Now on to watch the reaction.
P.P.S. seriously, I would consider it a favor to see a reaction to civil war.
I'll tip.
Is civil war a song by someone or what is it exactly ?
@@TooBlunt Civil War is a song of Immortal Techniqe with Killer Mike, Chuck D, and Brother Ali. All (IMHO) all stars of conscious hip hop on par with KRS-ONE.
Seriously I'll tip. I got five on it on cashapp.
@@TooBlunt loved watching the reaction. Question, you heard Regan By Killer Mike or much of Brother Ali?
I love watching first time reactions to this song. Anyone who has knows whats coming. kid is loving the tunes bobbing his head then @ 10.43 BOOM .... No one tells story's like IT
This song made me rewatch my life.
Immortal Technique- you never know 💯 another good one
"We're only meant to be in our mom 1 time not twice" ☠️☠️☠️ I had such a serious face and that caught me so off gaurd 🤣🤣 loved your reaction, subbed. About to binge watch your channel now, you have great energy and you really listen and talk, appreciate it already
Heard this back in 2008 in high school never looked at rap the same since the storytelling was gold then
Best reaction video I have seen to date. Made my feelings validated. Immortal Technique did rewire my brain growing up and this song was gripping as fuck when I first heard it. Glad to see an appropriate reaction to it. Thanks for the video.
Best reaction to this song I've seen. Nice job!
This was the song that I first hear by Immortal Technique that intrigued me into his discography. I've yet to look back.
Great reaction my dude. This is music from my time coming up. It's just really refreshing to see you catching the bars and the meaning behind them. big ups to you. respect
You'd also love Sage Francis. My personal fav of his is Slow Down Gandhi
People don't give sage enough love
Listen to this reminded me of being alot younger been awhile since ih head this but also made me think of another you would like no regrets by aceop rock
Thank you for doing the right version. So many ppl check the animated version which has parts cut out.
One of my favourite and greatest story telling tracks of all time. So deep, dark and twisted. Really enjoyed your commentary on this one..
Opiates was my devil for 10 years. Thank god for methadone clinics lol. I decided not to go through rehab, and just go with the methadone treatment. It worked great for me, as I was still able to carry out my normal life working, whereas rehab I would have had to take time off and/or possibly quit depending on the time needed. I was mentally strong enough to deal with it on my own, but I highly suggest rehab for everyone, as they offer an escape, doctors, and psychiatric help and so on. Choose the path that works for you. I wish all those who are struggling the best, and stay strong!
His whole first album is a raw masterpiece
Knew when you asked for songs the other day this one would come up 👍 love your reactions
I have NEVER heard a reaction song breakdown like this. ABSOLUTLEY BRILLIANT, I LOVED IT! Excellent! YOU give me hope for #HIPHOP, thank you. 👏👏👏
Great reaction and analysis brother. This song absolutely haunts.
Love your breakdown on this classic track. Subbed
Really good reaction, your excitement and emotions and reflections were all top notch and came across as authentic. Subscribed!
This is one my Playlist on random every time I hear it......I'm like damn
Bro... such a good reaction.. thank you!
Immortal Technique - "You never know"
Suggestion based on some things you said here: Bezz Believe - "Karma"
Its an amazing song but it still disturbs me to this day.
I can’t listen to this without automatically crying
Man like TooBlunt the pioneer! Didn't realize you were back but I'm glad!
Thanks for commenting 👊🏿 I know you were around from waaaay back
Yo Mind and Yo breakdowns... UM Lovin It! #THANKYOU!
Sevin "In My Hood"
Sevin "Somebody Lied to Us"
#RESPECT... For your recognition of this TRUE Hip Hop!
4th branch of the government and Obnoxious are my 2 favorite
Great reaction! He is so underrated.
Was the 500th like. Top 10 Dance With the Devil Reaction. Well done.
I remember hearing this in high school, around 16 or 17. Bent out of my mind in my friends basement. All silent just listening. Then severe shock for the rest of the night.
Knowing what you know is half the battle.
Knowing what you don’t know is the other half.
One’s intelligence will always have a cap without the active recognition of what they don’t know.
this is story telling at its greatest, one of the greatest but coldest songs ever, just incredible
I know for ages Immortal Technique didnt like talking about the ending, but i think he did say, that although he wasnt there, it was something he had heard happened on the streets
you are an OG reactor, just came across your channel and subscribed, watched you back in the day on old channel im glad your still doing your thing
This is one of the best reactions to this song I've seen
Immortal technique cause of death is a must to listen too!!
You never know by immortal tech another great song story
One of my favorite lines is right after the mother reveal - "And he remembered how his mom used to come home late
. Working hard for nothing, 'cause now what was he worth." - Billy was now a disgusting and worthless worm of a person, so all her hard work trying to provide for him growing up, was a complete waste.
Also the part where he says he was there and participated, is meant to show that we all have good/bad or angels/demons inside of us. People keep their demon's hidden, so you never know who is standing next to you, or in the crowd at a show ... it could very well be a monster.
One of the coldest songs I ever heard
This is the best reaction to this song I’ve seen bro
You do good reviews of songs man, keep it up for real
Amazing reaction
This makes me wanna declare war on gangsters and drug dealers
I hear those first few piano notes of the song and my fucking stomach drops out. Fucking raw stuff.
You are a very intelligent understanding wise young man. If I was your parent I’d be beyond proud of you.
:) thank you for the comment. Got me to smile ear to ear :D
Thank you for this reaction. When Tech says he was there he is referring to the metaphor as a whole. When he was young he had those delusions of gang bangers being heroes and wanting to become that. Great reaction to one of the best songs ever written. You have gained a subscriber. Keep it up.
Trapp Tarell is a rapping story teller. He is really great. Dopeboy Dave is one of my favorites by him.
Appreciate what you do!
Immortal technique, you never know has been mentioned already, definitely second that recommendation!!
Two other great story raps that come to mind right now for me if you're on the search:
Fat cats, bigga fish by the coup
Little Houdini by sage Francis
Take care, keep up the great work!
Im a metalhead and this too is the best song I've ever heard.
This song caused me to turn my life around when I first heard it. Prior to this song I was hanging around bad people and going down a bad path that didn't have a happy ending.
Immortal techniques one of my favorite artists. Two artists I'd recommend. Dax and Merkules
great reaction
Favorite reaction to this song❤️
such a good song and such a good reaction video
such a powerful song and story surprised you havent heard before
Immortal Tech - Point of no return 🔥🔥🔥💯
So fist off new subscriber. I love how you really get into being a reacter, to your videos it's like telling someone else's story. Please keep it coming, really great job.
:) thank you for subscribing, happy to have you here
It really focuses on the reality that this is just regular life
LMAOOO bro i love it when i see people hear this song for the first time, it really puts ppl into perspective this old school hiphop shit is wild, these old MCs speak on some crazy shit... especially immortal technique. he has the rawest bars i've ever heard
Definitely wasn't his first time.
Man I was hoping you watch the extra freestyle at the end of the track with Diabolic and immortal technique.
You should do a reaction video to Diabolic "I don't wanna rhyme" and "Alien manuscript" . Bolic's word play is insane and both have videos.
That shit ruins the song imo if listened to together. Totally ruins this song when played together
@@gdo3510 idk about the web version but back in the day I had it on cd and there was several minutes of dead air before the "freestyle" started. It would've been years before I discovered Diabolic if it wasn't for that track.
Best reaction man this is how a reactor reacts man🙏🏾
I've remained relatively sane, although "the Devil" has attacked me in more ways than i'd think we were built for. Alcohol, drugs, abuse, homelessness just to mention some. Still struggling to this day, but somehow i've found a state of mind where i'm proud of who i Am inside. I refuse to see myself as a victim, refuse to grow ugly and bitter... IF there was someone to "blame" for everything.....what good would it do??? Theres beauty and light everywhere, if you dare to let it in. ❤
Do “you never know” by immortal technique
Great reaction. Lots of people have asked Immortal Technique if the song is true, and you can find him being filmed at concerts giving a little “speech” about how the story happens every day, in every city, all over the world. And you caught the message and meaning behind the song before it was even over. 💕
Mama raised you right, boy 🙋♀️
Army of Pharos . Another good hip hop project.
THANKYOU SIR !!!
On the video by jelly roll you asked for something different, here you are talking about being into a story. Here are some older story songs you can check out... BY JONNY CASH: long black viel, cocain blues, and a boy named sue... Ringo by Lorne Green ( the dad from bonanza, a western tv show from the 70s)... Hurricaine by Bob Dylan... Phantom 309 by Red Sovine... and the ultimate trucker song of the 70s CONVOY...
You got to listen to "You never know". Just as touching a story but not the same kind of darkness haha. You'll love it
His album Revolutionary Volume 2 is one of the hardest things I've ever listened to!
The music from ‘Love Story’!
