This song is nearly 2 decades old, an underground classic

This song came out in 2001. Technique has been around for a long time. The reason he isn't well-known is because he's fully independent as an artist. He has no manager, agents, distributors or producers. He has turned down offers in the past, but is very successful in the hip hop underground. You also never have to worry about getting copyright strikes from his songs. "Burn it off the internet and bump it outside" is a direct quote from one of his other songs.

I’ve probably watched at least 20 different reaction videos to this song. Y’all are hands down, the best people that broke this song down. From beginning to end. Catching Billy is among us everyday and he’s giving awareness through metaphor. Well done my friends.

This is HANDS DOWN, the most prolific song EVER written. This song sticks with you FOREVER. The mother represents pure, good life and how we as humans, easily destroy the purity we're raised with. Especially how we treat women.

    Still gives me chills...

In college I referenced this song in a paper. Apparently the song is a metaphor on how we treat brown women in our community

U need to check out poverty of Philosophy or 3rd world by him. Both great songs with deep meanings. Hes a revolutionary rapper. He's always attacking and question governments & how the world works. He's also an independent artist. Also great reaction. Peace and take care.
