Ive had the 936ST for about 5 months . What a picture , and my sipplier has released the 4k software just yet. But i made adjustments and did a custom resolution. But my goodness , what an improvement already. 4k is the way the industry is heading , so get er done
Great video idea I cant speak for everyone but i would assume everyone wonders the way I do how much of an upgrade it would be I have the LU935ST and kinda kick myself for not springing for the 4k version. Also quick question where did you get the clock? Love that with the case around it
@@PixelGolf nice job on the clock. Of course the 936 will be noticeable it’s just hard to put a price on how noticeable the lu935st is $4000 and the 936 is around $5000 it’s really more a matter of trying to justify it in my mind than anything. I had the 700sti before this on which is 4k but was not a good reference point considering how much lower the lumens are it was always a bit washed out unfortunately. Anyway thanks for your time I do appreciate it. Maybe one day I’ll take the plunge….. again lol

Hey what unit would you recommend for a garage
Very low lighting 10x7.7 screen
Distance 6-8ft away
With that distance I would look at the Optoma, alnk.to/faBylKU It has a .49 throw ratio that should land you in between 6-8 feet.
Thanks for the video. About to build my own, debating on a 1080p or a 4K.
Let us know if you need any additional help!
@@PixelGolf Remember that you'll need a much more powerful graphics card to run smoothly in 4k

I haven’t tried the LU935ST, but 4K is obviously going to be a noticeable upgrade. The clock I made myself.

What ceiling mount are you using for the 936st my current one does not stretch far enough to hit all 4 holes
I actually took some extra legs I had from another mount and linked them together to reach the holes.
Nice video, where did you get the Rolex clock from sweet addition to your room
Thank you, I made it myself.
O ok I figured that been looking for it since I seen your video and couldn’t find it nowhere. Where did you get the gold clock from? Looks good buddy
I think one should consider investing in a Laser projector instead of focusing on 1080 vs 4k
Well in this case, these are both laser. But yes, laser is definitely a big plus for sims.
