@@FallenLight0 understandable, but the vibes in the US are mainly those of superialism. Of course not all Americans are like that, but i feel like the vast majority of proud Americans have some sort of false pride, if not even arrogance, BUT to be fair, the same goes for Germans, Englanders, French, Chinese, Indians, Zionists, Soviets and Russians.
Me too! Aside all the hype around Musk, I guess it has to do with not being taxpayer's money, can you imagine the shitstorm if Nasa sent a car to space just because?
I love this. They're cheering like they're at an NFL game or something, but it's for rockets! I can't wait to see the future of SpaceX and I'm so glad to see the hype they've been able to pump back into everyday people about spaceflight.
If there were ever an engineering achievement so absolutely powerful in the way it made a statement, this was it. I watch this with tears in my eyes every single time being proud of what humans can do when they turn their attention towards the stars. If this doesn't inspire a generation of kids to want to become scientists and engineers, I'm truly not sure what could. It's beyond words!
Say whatever you want but the reactions in this video are something to memorize. The passion, thrill and total excitement is amazing! I can recall watching the stream with my friends via skype and wel were all cheering like crazy.
I just don't get sick of this video. Crystal clear shots of the boosters which is superb but the reactions say it all. And not 1 tax dollar spent. Just pure American ingenuity! LOVE IT!
The most mesmerizing rocket launches (only) imo are, in order of best to great: Saturn V launch (especially Apollo 11), space shuttles, Challenger disaster, SLS, Ariane 5 (transporting JWST), then finally the Falcon9/Falcon heavy rockets. SpaceX actually makes pretty small rockets (apart from Starship) compared to old NASA stuff. If we ever get a full Starship + booster take-off AND landing, then that will probably become my 4th of 5th favorite launch. The Saturn V and space shuttles will always be top 3 for me because "nostalgia". I might not have been alive yet back then but they're still the first space launches I was introduced to 😅.
Funny thing is, I saw this launch and later that night met the bunch of you while re-watching the footage in the Hotel lobby. I remember it like it was yesterday.
they should be strapped at north korean rocket that went up until 2000 miles and went down . lol. damn, how fast was that going down i wonder from 9.8 m/s/s rate from 2000 miles
At 45 seconds where that dude literally screamed his heart out that has been put on a soundboard and is the joke of my friend group whoever you are you are fucking awesome as is this video!
I remember seeing this in person and I didn't know they were coming back to Earth so I was getting ready to leave and everybody started playing up at the sky again and screaming I thought one of the rockets blew up or something and then I saw these two things coming back down to earth and then I heard the Sonic booms and it gave me shivers up my spine. .
Damn, if I didn't piss my pants seeing that then I would go to my GP to ask what is wrong with me. Absolutely fantastic footage - which is why I'm here now to watch it again.
@Bobby Brady Mate. I'm British you absolute doorknob. Come on now, just settle down and let's talk about the Falcon 9 Block 5 landing that's just occurred. ^^
Now where did i hear these guys before? Bill S. Preston, Esquire! And I'm Ted Theodore Logan! Together, we are the. WYLD STALLYNS! Good to hear the Wyld Stallyns also got to see the landing.
Guy says "What is this crap?" Hahaha Greatest reaction video i've seen so far. The reaction made it so much better, the other one that went viral has a terrible reaction as if we've all seen this 1,000 times.
And Neil deGrasse Tyson said back then Elon couldn't do it. That the tech wasnt available. And even after this happened, he still looks down upon it 😂 suck it. Elon for the future
You know what - i was just reminiscing about this and was thinking such a shame Nasaspaceflight wasnt around back then, at least the way they are now on youtube ... but then i watched this, that's Das right? Im sure that's Das - that infectious excitement is awesome
the moment the landing gear is unfolded looks like science fiction... And 2 rockets side to side was just great show off. afterwards no one cared about blueorigin landing XD I dont like usa very much but in rocket tech you are just GREAT. GOAT!!!
If I could imagine what it was like living in the 60s and 70's and living the excitement of the Space Race, this would be it. Thank you Elon Musk and Space X engineers and everyone involved who make this new era of the "Mars Race" a reality to live in. It truly is inspiring and an exciting time to be alive to witness.
Boy, do I have a video for you. Next launch I placed a special microphone away from the commentators and just captured rocket audio... ruclips.net/video/76lwaWD9VrY/видео.html
Probably one of my favorite videos on the internet! Hands down 😂 I love seeing people so excited about scientific achievements!!!
It's more between nationalism and patriotism than excitement for scientific achievements lol. That's US-'murrica for ya

me too
One day....
every time

It's over 2 years ago, and I tear up every time I hear "Two landings! No way!".
This is some great footage, and your reactions are delightful. I'd be whooping and hollering just as much.
YEEEAAAAHHHH DOUBLE SONIC BOOMS BABY !!!
Delightful?? What the f... Those two idiots even managed to ruin the shot of the landing by jolting the bloody camera
@@marcobiti2637 it was because of the sonic booms?

@Bobby Brady he did design it
well they are using tech from tax payers developed earlier. like gps. and they dont make all of the components themself

In 2024 I still love this video. Thanks for sharing this.
Next time, Spacex needs to get those guys screaming encouragement a few yards from the drone ship.
Unbelievably awesomely abso-f-ing-lutely amazing ! Nice footage Das, thanks !
There are actually 3 sonic booms per rocket, so 6 total! In order #1 engine, #2 where the legs connect to the booster, and #3 the grid fins
Two sets of 3 booms each, as per the description. Technically you can pick up a few more as the shockwaves interact, but not with us yelling. ;)
You never hear sonic booms when the rockets are going at their slowest speeds, this is ridiculous
At 45 seconds where that dude literally screamed his heart out that has been put on a soundboard and is the joke of my friend group whoever you are you are fucking awesome as is this video!
You guys really shouldn't hold your emotions in like that, it's not healthy. Let it out and tell the world how you feel. ;-)
If people weren't freaking out so wildly, you might feel like you've finally arrived in the future. But as it is, it's just a damn good stunt.
Dude. Your passion is contagious. I love it.
So good to see such enthusiasm for space flight again after the lack of interest from the public since the Apollo programme.
There was another sonic boom from the amount of screaming of joy coming out of the spectators mouth.
Awesome video
The fact that both boosters landed at the same time even if that wasn't necessary just amazes me.
Best thing about this program is the renewed enthusiasm for space flight.
I never bothered to look at this til now. Thats badass
When watching high technology in action brings out full Neanderthal in man
