Love this because the game I was trying to cheat (Lowrider) is a cheap game that isn't that popular so luckily codebreaker had the cheats because a PNACH file doesn't exist online at first glance for that game.
I thought it didn't work for me either, but for me it didn't work when I loaded my game from a save state, but it worked when I loaded the game from the memory card/. I wish I had know that was the case before I'd made so much progress in my game, because it's kind of pointless to have cheats have to start your game all over again in order for the to be effective, but at least I know that now for all the other games.
This method isn t working with Silent Hill 3. I have finished it on Ps2 console without cheats, want to replay it though. The screen freezes after cheats Selection and starting the game.

Wasn't working for me at first and I followed all the steps, The only thing I changed for this to work for me was "Enable cheats" inside of PCSX2 and reloading the Codebreaker ISO then enabling all the cheats again and launching the game then it worked :D I'm super happy because making PNACH files isn't too complicated but it takes forever and you need to do so many steps just for one cheat (really annoying) anyways thanks, Now I can play my favorite PS2 games like they were meant to be played and not have to worry about grinding for hours just to enjoy the story. Thanks again. Also I saw a few of the comments on this video and the cheats do work on PS2 ISO files, Not sure what everyone else is doing wrong but make sure you enable cheats inside of PCSX2 and at least launched the game once before enabling the cheats and at least have a save file as well for said game or it won't work.

A program called Power ISO i use it to mount the ISO files to read like a physical disk im not sure if you need it for the emulator or not but after dragging did you click "Boot Full"?
@@BuuTheGhost that might affect it. Based on what I read in the PCSX2 forums they say that only the dvd of codebreakers would work, so a normal iso crashes everything

You might have to add the codes manually i made a video on it. You have to find the codes on a site for code breaker.

after selecting the game on 03:06 and press x to continue, my pcsx2 just freezes..im using pcsx2 v 1.6
apparantly it's a long known issue that the pcsx2 folks won't bother trying to fix
