Extracting the textures to another folder on your desktop. Then dragging the replacement textures to your PCSX2 textures. I tried the same thing my boy OneDeep did and it said it was gonna take 16 hours. I did it on the desktop and it was done in a matter of seconds. I believe this is because it doesn't limit your hdd to a certain speed, as if you were to do it in your file Explorer. So, you're welcome!

7:32 I done the notepad bit but not moving the file in the cheats because I couldn’t see it for some reason and I wasn’t really that bothered so i probably do it later But my real question is I noticed my frames dropped a lot when I speed up the game by 300% it doesn’t usually do this until just then, could it be the notepad affecting it or not, I can’t tell because it started to do that with all of my games
If its a newest updated pcsx2 the yea they moved the cheats folder into a different directory location, but idk where it is cus i don’t use 2.0 or newer, and the reason why it may drop frames might be because depending on your pc specs as well as other different that you may have to put back on default perhaps
Just to clarify a couple of things, DO NOT ENABLE TEXTURE DUMPING! What that is doing is extracting the textures from the game and saving them on your drive. Not only are you taking up extra space on your drive for no reason, if you are doing this on an SSD you will cause significant wear and tear. There is also no reason to have asynchronous texture loading AND precache textures enabled at once. I'd recommend sticking to asynchronous and leaving it at that. Setting overclocked doesn't overclock your cpu right? Also what Setting do you set to make it stop slowing down in the menu or gameplay when loading options?

2.2 version might run the cheats folder in different location since i run 1.7.5, unfortunately im not really sure how or where to find the directory.. like im sure its still the very same way, you just gotta search where the cheats directory is it at in order for it to work
I need some help here, please!!! I have configured all the settings (60 fps, disable motion blur, widescreen, 300%) and the game was working perfectly, I was play 6x resolution with 60 fps all the time without any fps drops. game was smooth. Then suddenly today it started running in slow motion, without changing nothing! I don't know what to do, dont know what caused this, the game is unplayable now :( pls someone help me Obs.: I updated nvidia to the latest driver today, and also updated pcsx2, and after that it happened. dont know if that was a possible cause
Maybe lower down the resolution back to 4x or 1440p, and if its still happing… maybe idk if that might be cus of 60fps in general, maybe see if reverting it back to 30fps could help as well
Ok, I tried a few things and here’s what happened: I tried various combinations of patches, disabling some, and enabling others. To resume, I was able to fix it by disabling all the patches that says “1080p” on it. Now the game is running smooth again 60 fps on 6x res. Unfortunately, it may have disabled the widescreen fix but…. Now I can play again

If your starting the game fresh, you might have to re format your save with a new pnach file thats in the description with the max money, just gotta make sure its in your cheats folder first before you start the game

They should still work for everyone, i recently tested them out on the newer emulator.. thing is the “cheats” folder is in a different directory i believe, but the folder is still called “cheats” just make sure its enabled as well

If it crashes after doing all of those settings, its ether your patch notes you’ve installed into your game, or your emulation settings in itself.. so you’d probably need to start from scratch and see what settings it is that causing your game to crash Also depends on your PC specs as well, it lowkey is a demanding game
Something REALLY bad happened yesterday. A while back my 100% MC3 save got corrupted, so later I imported my MC3 original save and decided to just do Tokyo again. Yesterday, my save broke again. Thankfully I had made a backup in case something like this happened again. So all is good right? WRONG! It gets so, SO much worse. I boot up my backup, AND ITS CORRUPTED TOO. Seriously how did that even happen.

@@OneDeepwell I think I figured something. I’m using my CFW PS3 to play the game. For a long while I have been mounting the game’s ISO file via Webman. I decided to download the official rerelease from the PS2 Classics line as it uses a different save game format than if you mounted the ISO. I’m gonna try that and see if it works better. I’m gonna have to replay the game entirely, but I was planning on doing that anyways.

Type in "notepad" at the bottom left of your pc taskbar, paste the codes onto the notepad, then save the file into your new cheats folder you had created

Yo i was able to get this going and its smooth!! Only prob is i ran the 60fps script first, then decided i wanted the cash so edited the notepad file an overwrote the file saved in the cheats folder but the cash isn't there. Is there a way to clear a cache or something? Seems like the emulator is still working off of memory of the original .pnach
If its stuck on 60, might be because your emulator might have it set on 60 through its settings itself, or you can copy/paste the patches on the notepad and find the 60fps to remove it and still keep the money, then save it as a new pnach file

hey one question, when i did the texture update and 60fps for some reason the screen tears slightly and also the subtitles are also sped up and the text after a race is finished goes outside the box, is there anyway to fix it?
Maybe turn on the V sync for the screen tearing, hopefully that fixes it.. if not, make sure your monitor is set too the highest FPS possible 👌 now for the subtitles is probably cus 60fps is too fast for the game to render i think so idk on that one lol and the text outside the box is due too having the HUD fix because 16:9 resolution wise isn't fully completed as of right now sadly, so there technically isn't a way too fix it unless you wanna remove the HUD fix itself.. but so far as of right now this is the best we can have... but aye still looks great though lol

Check your graphics settings your emulator it self, pcsx2 did a update where you can just Check ☑️ the HUD fix itself, rather then just using patch files

Just drag the Midnight Club 3 DUB Remix textures file to your desktop along with your PCSX2 folder and extract the MC3 FUB Remix folder. Then drag the new unzipped/extracted folder to you textures folder under your PCSX2 (all on your desktop) and it'll be done in a matter of seconds/minutes. Trust me, I tried the same thing and it said it would take 8 hours. Then I tried doing it on my desktop and it worked in under 5 seconds lol...
I'm new to emulating and I just painstakingly found out that I had the EU/PAL version of the game. The codes you've listed are for the US/NTSC version of the game. I now have 2 copies of MC3 - One for EU (No cheats work) and one for US - (cheats work) - Just wanted to point that out.

And my camera is off to the side mostly to the left and headlights and stuff are not aligning with vehicles

My game when i get to the borders of the map goes to 60 but when i turn to the middle of the map it goes 30 i have a 2060 so i don't understand why.
You probably need to overclock your game to 300% if your running 60fps

Hi, do you have HDR monitor? have the same setup, except my colors are washed out, not as deep and vibrant as yours.
I do have HDR but i never use it tbh, you can fine tune your saturation and sharpness through your game properties in the emulator as well 💯

They should still work for everyone, i recently tested them out on the newer emulator.. thing is the “cheats” folder is in a different directory i believe, but the folder is still called “cheats” just make sure its enabled as well

If it crashes after doing all of those settings, its ether your patch notes you’ve installed into your game, or your emulation settings in itself.. so you’d probably need to start from scratch and see what settings it is that causing your game to crash
Also depends on your PC specs as well, it lowkey is a demanding game

Something REALLY bad happened yesterday.
A while back my 100% MC3 save got corrupted, so later I imported my MC3 original save and decided to just do Tokyo again. Yesterday, my save broke again. Thankfully I had made a backup in case something like this happened again.
So all is good right? WRONG! It gets so, SO much worse. I boot up my backup, AND ITS CORRUPTED TOO. Seriously how did that even happen.

@@OneDeepwell I think I figured something. I’m using my CFW PS3 to play the game. For a long while I have been mounting the game’s ISO file via Webman. I decided to download the official rerelease from the PS2 Classics line as it uses a different save game format than if you mounted the ISO. I’m gonna try that and see if it works better. I’m gonna have to replay the game entirely, but I was planning on doing that anyways.

You have the latest version of pcsx2? If its the 2.1 version its definitely having issues with maintaining 60fps when overclocking unfortunately

question: Where is my "notepad?" like is it a notepad file or do i just put it on the notepad program im new to emulating ps2 games and im not sure
Type in "notepad" at the bottom left of your pc taskbar, paste the codes onto the notepad, then save the file into your new cheats folder you had created

Yo i was able to get this going and its smooth!! Only prob is i ran the 60fps script first, then decided i wanted the cash so edited the notepad file an overwrote the file saved in the cheats folder but the cash isn't there. Is there a way to clear a cache or something? Seems like the emulator is still working off of memory of the original .pnach
If its stuck on 60, might be because your emulator might have it set on 60 through its settings itself, or you can copy/paste the patches on the notepad and find the 60fps to remove it and still keep the money, then save it as a new pnach file

Try overclocking the game to 300% in the game priority settings, that always works for 60fps for me

hey one question, when i did the texture update and 60fps for some reason the screen tears slightly and also the subtitles are also sped up and the text after a race is finished goes outside the box, is there anyway to fix it?
Maybe turn on the V sync for the screen tearing, hopefully that fixes it.. if not, make sure your monitor is set too the highest FPS possible 👌 now for the subtitles is probably cus 60fps is too fast for the game to render i think so idk on that one lol and the text outside the box is due too having the HUD fix because 16:9 resolution wise isn't fully completed as of right now sadly, so there technically isn't a way too fix it unless you wanna remove the HUD fix itself.. but so far as of right now this is the best we can have... but aye still looks great though lol

Check your graphics settings your emulator it self, pcsx2 did a update where you can just Check ☑️ the HUD fix itself, rather then just using patch files

Just drag the Midnight Club 3 DUB Remix textures file to your desktop along with your PCSX2 folder and extract the MC3 FUB Remix folder. Then drag the new unzipped/extracted folder to you textures folder under your PCSX2 (all on your desktop) and it'll be done in a matter of seconds/minutes. Trust me, I tried the same thing and it said it would take 8 hours. Then I tried doing it on my desktop and it worked in under 5 seconds lol...
Also remember to put the folder back to the same destination u had it before in order for it to save

I'm new to emulating and I just painstakingly found out that I had the EU/PAL version of the game. The codes you've listed are for the US/NTSC version of the game.
I now have 2 copies of MC3 - One for EU (No cheats work) and one for US - (cheats work) - Just wanted to point that out.

try going to the properties of the game itself, check the patches, do 16:9 in graphics and 4k in rendering
