Found out about these guys thru Bloke- in-the-Woods and Kent Survival. TJM’s website is fab’ and for the quality, very well priced. So proud to be British when I see artisans doing such globally sought after stuff!

Kettle iron's, pot hangers, fire grills are all old concepts from the cowboys of America to the Gypsies of the road's, they have been used by travellers for hundreds of year's, Trevor makes a modern take on an old idea, and does a good job.

This is just superb,well made kit. I bought the mini fire anchor set a couple of years ago for camping with the kids and it's fantastic. They love cooking on it.

lol. I just screenshot their grills and just welded myself one in probably half the time. Lol.
I have several pieces of kit by Trevor, all of them are superb and I always take them with me when camping.

I bought the mini fire hanger a few months ago. It’s superb kit, excellent quality, compact, strong and surprisingly lightweight considering it’s build quality.

I’ve been after the mini fire anchor for ages and made the leap after seeing @simonablokeinthe woods video ,can’t wait to use it ,perfect for my needs in the woods and at home for that matter
In all honesty the mini fire anchor is an ingenious piece of kit and I love using it. Esp now that I have the custom pouch for it made by David Friars it goes with me everywhere ~Peace~
Just bought a set last week - It is in Denmark by now and could land in the local postoffice anytime.
I really look forward to taking this out. I'm also in the process of making my own version of a bushbox out of some scrap stainless steel :-)
Buying good gear is nice, but making your own is quite rewarding too (when applicable).

What a great heads up ,Zed ,fantastic practical gear though I have loads of problems in the wilds where I live finding somewhere I can make a fire without worrying about being reported..most woodlands owned by council/forestry people etc.Tend to have to be discreet and use my cheapo pocket rocket.Still going to get one of those mini pan fire anchors though ,incredible bit of kit for such a good price hopefully get get a bit further afield to use it!

I'm looking to fab up something for my son and his wife. They've just purchased their first home and it has a fire pit in the yard. So Dad wants to make something for them to enjoy cooking on either there or when camping. Not copying it though dont worry.

Ordered the mini fire anchor myself. Just wondering what oil they suggest for maintaining and cleaning. Does it have to be food safe oil or does it not matter on the fire?
Doesn't really matter choice of oil as once heated it'll burn off anyway. You'll love the mini fire anchor dude as it's one of my favourite pieces of kit ~Peace~
