So pretty there! This may be a dumb question and I apologize now. Do roosters taste different than the hens? I guess I’ve never really thought about it before… 😳😂. Thanks!
Hi there! Thanks so much! It’s not a dumb question! They taste the same but roosters are bigger usually. If you let them grow out longer, they can be tougher in general so they are better for soup if they are older chickens 😁

have to cover your blueberries in screen or the birds will have all your berries....but...you guys probably already know that ;-D. There are so many things you can make with violets ! Enjoy ! lol.....I hope your other roosters took note concerning the two bullies....😏
🤣 And Yes! We are looking into ways to keep the birds away from all the berries! If you have uses for the violets, please share! We have found some fun things to use them for but love hearing more!
@@HappyBurrowHomestead You can make jelly from them.....there are youtube videos that will give you lots of ideas...that's where I first was informed. I have a bunch in my backyard so I was interesting in finding out more myself !
