That is how it works, you tell a lie without telling a lie so its real, you mind knows when your being a phony its hard to hide unless you trick it with truth
it's funny how he was sincere and credible in the same time. When he tries to stay "lawyer" , he made a sincere speech, but the examiner said he was not. And when he was not honest at the second interview, everyone thought he was. But in this scene, he was sincere and the officer trust him ...
It was twisted how throughout the show the only time he spoke honestly about his life or his feelings was when he was playing a situation, even when he "suckered" everyone when he got his law license back, every word he said was true to how he actually feels. In this scene, the same thing.
Ikr. I’m not even sure he knew he was being honest. You can see that when he’s trying to get his lawyer license back, staying at his brothers grave. Such a good character
I find the ending of BCS true poetry. At 1:50 the camera changes the angle and you see how far away they are, yet so close, seen in another angle. Not only that but when Kim is leaving, Jimmy does his signature move, and that's the moment Kim realizes she doesn't even have any kind of signature move and has never left any trace of her behind. Then she leaves the prison, only to be welcomed by a new prison of her own, trapped with her own feelings and away from the only person capable of understanding her.
This is so sad. I just finished better call saul like 3 days ago and it just hits hard you know. Pretty talented. his ways may not be right but damn even if its fiction, he's the best lawyer.
The way he says, "My brother...is dead", the delay in finishing the sentence and the head tilt seems to me as if he's remorseful and never fully moved on from what happend.
This scene was so great for me, every little thing about it. The way he desperately needs to get his attention and can't quite think of anything, that delivery and the way he coveys Saul’s overwhelming feeling of anxiety had me on the edge. Kudos to Bob Odenkirk for such an incredible portrayal
Saul really got the worst of the 3 of them atleast walter died securing his family and Jesse got away with a new identity. Saul lost everything and the worst part is he lives to regret it all wanted everything ended up with nothing

Everyone has these days. But Saul had so many people that needed him. He just couldn't see through their selfishness. He was so fucking skilled too, that's the most tragic part.
You know many of uss see ourselves as good people, but have we even put that to the test in the slightest? Take a look at the ten commandments, God's moral law, and tell me how many times you have broken each one of them. We are lying, thieving, blaspheming, murderous, fornicating, adulterers at heart, what makes you think god should let you or me into heaven? Like a good judge sentences a criminal who's killed 3 women to death God rightfully sentences us to hell. The bible says the wages of sin is death. We are getting what is due to us like how a killer gets what's due to him in prison. The common argument is, "well why can't he just forgive me?" Try that in a court of law. Say a man committed a murder, he killed a young woman and he knew it was wrong and he's sorry. The judge says "I forgive you of this crime, the verdict is innocent, you are free to go!" Would that be a righteous and just judge? No, because justice wasn't served. Now if you're an all holy and righteous God, you can't just let sin go unpunished. So what did God do for guilty sinners so that we wouldn't have to go to hell? He gave his only begotten son to die on a cross for us. Many people know this but don't understand the reason. We broke God's moral law, the 10 commandments, Jesus paid the fine. Say you're in court and you have a stack of speeding fines, the judge says "this is a very serious crime, but someone has paid the fine so you are free to go. " And just like that the judge can rightfully and justly let you go. Heres the thing, God didn't have to do this. He could have rightfully and justly sent both you, me, and all of humanity into hell. He could have served justice, but he chose to serve mercy. The bible is the greatest love story ever told! God sent his only begotten son to take the punishment you should have had, because that's how badly he wants to spend an eternity with you. 2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." What that means is “On the cross, God looked at Christ and saw you. Now, He looks at you and sees Christ.” - John MacArthur, this is the doctrine of substitution. I am going to leave you with this. There are two doorways to heaven, you can choose to walk through the one of mercy, or you can choose to walk through the one of justice. The bible says "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword." For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." This verse talks about how just, but merciful God is. He pleads for us to take the path of mercy to avoid his just wrath. I say this out of love and to put the fear of God in your heart, hell is a horrible place and I don't want you or anyone at all to end up there. I ask you to put your faith in Christ like you'd put your faith in a parachute. Death is not infront of you, it's beside you, so many people think they have time to change, repent, or think about this, but when death comes there is no do-over! Many people think God just wants dumb blind followers and that chritianity is against science when in reality its the complete opposite. Oxford, Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, all these great university's were founded by christians in the pursuit of science and knowledge of the world. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.'' Mathew 7:13. Jesus says come as you are, he will change you. I care deeply for you, yes you the person reading this, and I am praying for you, God bless you! Luke 15:7 "there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who REPENTS than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no REPENTANCE.”
