I don't think Vought wants any players smarter than they are. I think she's going to end up deeply crippling Vought by the end, now that she see's it's machinations and (many) weaknesses under Homelander
It kinda makes sense as she's too unpredictable, dangerous and lacks on empathy. They already had Homelander, bringing another supe who can easily fucks shit up for them would be too risky. Homelander aside, Vaught would prefer for The Seven people that are easy to control, short-sighted, obedient and loyal, she's none of that. Sadly if anything it will be played out as race thing.
I disagree with your take that Hollanders actions surprised her, she seemed more annoyed than shocked and her response “ you did t think that what she was going to say afterwards was important?” Suggests she cared more about the information. She herself believes she and the supes are superior beings so it wouldn’t make sense for her to be shocked about the way homelander did what he did.

Homelander told her she could put her theories to test on the world stage, she really doesn't have anything to do but read books, now this gives her a way to use what she learned and actually take over as the worlds greatest sup. I wonder what Newman could do to her brain. Hypothetically she could be giving her micro aneurisms to throw off her abilities without her even knowing (of course only when in close proximity)
There is a "House M.D." episode in which a true genius is portraited. Smarter than House, that used alcohol to damage his brain to deal with his wife. She was not dumb but he was so smart that paraphrasing "You are closer to a chimp, than I to you." Talking about IQ. He was over 200. He ended up asking advise how to damage his body less, yet continuing to numb his mind, to live happier with her, for he was so lonely being so brilliant. I think they took quite a lot from that...
You'd think a super genius could improve on Compound V. They should have given her psi powers like Carrie, Firestarter, or Scanners and advanced technology like Iron Man.
She makes me think about Stan Edgar. Part of me wonders if she has a secret tie with him. It also makes me wonder who’s actually smarter. Stan has no powers yet he isn’t afraid of Homelander; but Sister Sage has powers and is the smartest person in the world but can’t find another way to relax
My thoughts xactly. Stan knew Homelander can't take criticism, he knew he would end up needing to out branch and Sister Sage is an obvious yet interesting choice. Did Ashley truly pick her or maybe she truly did have low expectations of her. A stupid action of them all because she says alot of implicating things. Sister Sage is the perfect example of when dumb writers try to write a "smart" character. We're at 4x5 and she STILL hasn't done anything particularly clever or smart. She also brings up HL/Madeline's relationship as if shes watched the show even though that information was never public, she just KNEW cause "smart". And the writers aren't gonna explain how she knew that OR how she knew A-Train is the mole, she just magically knows. Because to dumb people, smart people are practially magicians.
I think that's explained when she reads homelander just by seeing his hair and his clean hands. So I think it's believable that she can pick up on someone anxious about a trains secret and other things over time.
I was under the impression that she, now as someone returning to Vought (with the blessing of Homelander, no doubt) would be privy to some of that information and would easily grok the rest by talking to people there...... You can fall back on the "Show don't tell" moniker, but her knowing that stuff didn't feel like much of a stretch since she seems to live in the tower now
I love how Homelander calls Sage “Someone of my level” because she’s a Supe. Which shows he’s not racist, just a Supe Supremacist. Which is still terrible now that I said it out loud…
Sage is literally the only person on boys show who is safe from homelander. Homelander needs her so badly, at episode 6 homelander started to cry / went to shock when few politicians asked him about trying to make a coup and peoples reaction to that... Victoria only stepped in becaause homelander was about to snap and murder whole usa goverment.
I'm pretty sure her regeneration is not just restricted to the brain because the whole on the side of her head healed by the next episode and that's not part of the brain.
I don't think that lobotomies have anything to do with Homelander or any of the additional stress associated with anything she does for Vought. Her ability is not only intelligence, but the processing of vast amounts of information coupled with eidetic memory and automatic brain regeneration. Her pattern recognition of every piece of information would make her perception of reality so dense, that it makes sense she would want a reprieve from all that stimulus. 1. Eidetic memory: she can't forget anything that has ever experienced or read. Any traumatic situation, book, person or otherwise, would be a permanent fixture in her mind. She's incapable forgetting all the accumulated suffering of herself or others, if she has seen or read about it. 2. Pattern recognition: She was able to read Homelander like a book based on basic hygiene and human tells, that most people aren't aware of. If you were able to read people like they were pages, then no one else would even register as a person to you. They would simply be a puzzle of heuristics to understand and manipulate. 3. Emotion: It's entirely possible that she has a form of imposed sociopathy from her inability to not analyze people and situations. Her perception is pure intellect, and she used a lobotomy to hinder her higher brain functions to a point where she could actually enjoy something. TLDR: Her intelligence is a prison of stimulus and she unwinds by slowing her mind down with a lobotomy.
People who love this show are already over analyzing the ending scene. It's obvious the show is introducing the concept of what happens when you give the dead/brain dead compound v. Zombie. Supe zombie

Sage KNOWS how to kill Homelander. Me too. Create a virus to accelerate his aging, which will weaken him from the inside out. His statue on the Gen V show foreshadows his fate.
Sage almost certainly has figured out how to take down Homelander, and every other important player, primed and ready to be sent to where they'll do the most damaged. This lady's best ways of protecting herself is MAD.
Yeah thats the trouble with actual SUPER intelligence. tony stark can feel normal by drinking. reed can do it by trying to have an emotional connection and failing miserably. but if you dont want to feel like an adult preying on children and you need intimacy... yeah i can see why you might do that.
So this video was made before the end of the season? Because we do find out the other person who does the lobotomy for her is Noir. Also she got shot in the head and survived.
Doesn’t have anything to do with Homelander. I fast forwarded because you spent so much time speculating “stress” from homelander. This is just what she does and has been doing this for quite a while I’m sure.
Alot of folks already commented on the lobotomy part. I think she does it for the reasons we saw on the show. To unwind and de-stress but also its like a reset button. She comes to a problem that might compound her. She takes a break. Does the lobotomy her brain resets and subsequently increases her intelligence.
Once again I am so impressed with the writers to come up with such a twisted version of "getting stoned and chilling" in the form of a freaking lobotomy!!!
Honestly her character was one of the best parts of Season 4 She seemed too be 2 steps ahead of everyone. But also shows that A-train was right that she doesn't know when too shut up. Leading too her getting shot by MM

I could make several statements of fact.As to why this season is garbage without bringing political crap into it, But most of it comes down to the fact that there's no reason that outside of plot BS, The Boys themselves should have been long killed..
She's not stressed with Homelander, she's ready to get beamed anytime coz she's also stoic. My theory is if she does not lobotomize herself her brain will grow too big... in addition i also have a theory on who helped her with the first scene with the lobotomy tool on the side, it's probably Black Noir
Perhaps Sage has had experience with mind-reading sups and the lobotomy is a way she prevents them from determining her concealed motives. Maybe her brain continues to develop perpetually and if she doesn't lobotomize herself daily it develops to a point where she is rendered catatonic. Maybe by the end of each day working with Homelander her ethical limits have been exceeded and the only way she can continue is to push back that realization by another day by lobotomizing herself (or she senses herself reaching her ethical limit). Maybe she lobotomizes herself because at the end of the day she is so depressed that she is suicidal and does the lobotomy as a self-protective behavior. Maybe when she was growing up the scientists at Vought conditioned her with an irresistible impulse to lobotomize herself at the end of each day. Maybe she lobotomizes herself because she is tortured by boredom. Maybe by the end of each day she realizes her plans will backfire and she lobotomizes herself to keep herself from keep herself from exhibiting suspicious behavior that Homelander might detect.
I don't believe she's being completely honest about her regenerative capabilities. That's very valuable info to have on her and she may be testing the deep to see if he'll use it against her later.
Sage may end her own torture permanently, Temp V turns ur brain to sludge, it may be a permanent solution for her, willingly or otherwise. She would not risk taking action that could cause her to lose her intelligence if she actually wanted to keep it and she's more than intelligent enough to realize this, she may be very willing to take the temp v.
I dont think the reason that she needs to unwind is caused by the stress of her job. Real people with extremely high IQ's have a higher chance of suffering from depression. some have even comitted suicide. the reason is that because of how their brain works, they often have issues socializing with other people. and have a hard time engaging in simple interactions. they also tend to be distrustful of people since they tend to over analyze people and often are able to read people and know their true intentions. they also tend to feel used, as if people saw them as a tool, a human computer. they also often end up having simple and underwhelming lives, maybe as a way to feel normal, or as a way to rebel against people's expectations of them. there's also people with photographic memory who are under constant stress because their minds are so saturated with useless information. I would imagine that a person with a super hero level of intelligence, all of those downsides escalate even further. her mind must be constantly working all the time. and she just needs to feel numb for a bit.
I think Sage's story will conclude in Gen V Season 2 but idk how exactly. Since her only power is being smart she doesn't have to die as for the smartest thing to do is not get involved too much in the Supe-War Homelander is going to start
Okay I’m going to go out on a limb with this, and I could be totally wrong… But what if Sage is actually the shapeshifter… Look it’s clear she the biggest liar/fraud/human hater in the show. It’s because she’s shifted into soooo many people that she learned the deepest darkest nature of all mankind. It could be how she adopted her nihilism. The more memories she gathers, the bigger her brain gets so she needs it scraped out from time to time but some of the memories stay. It could also be why she decided to take the form she currently has… One because she’s overlooked and under estimated , and 2 I believe she decided to stay in this form due to the guilt she has from killing the girl of the form we see. We never truly saw the shapeshifter die, Anne just choked her out. How the heck did she record what singer said and send it to sage 4 stories below the city?? I think she’s just playing everyone, if you had memories from 1 million different people, you’d literally be the smartest person on the planet. Sista Sage=Shapeshifter?? SS!??
I can bet money that Homelander will kill her. Goes back to the scene when Ashley warned her about talking to Homelander a certain way because he can’t handle it. I think that’s gonna come full circle…. He’s going to “disappoint him some how, he’s going to lose confidence in her, or he’s just going to feel offended by something she says” I doubt she will turn on him tho..
Lobotomies aren't that painful. And she wasn't upset with Homelander for killing the girl she was questioning because it was shocking, she was upset because they couldn't find anything out from her anymore.
I don't think she is, or ever waws, on Homelander's side at all. I think she's on her own side, and that's why Homelander is often disappointed in how the Plan is going. Because it isn't for him, and she only does enough to keep stringing him along. What her actual goal is, I'm not sure. I'm no Sister Sage.
As one of the smartest sidekick, I believe she will outsmart the planner( HOMELANDER ). Building a relationship with one of the most powerful hero" The Deep" as HOMELANDER can beat him on land but not in water. Next it seems her brain is its own entity, a whole living organism which does not let her get rest or time for herself and will disfigure her in time to come in which she have to lobotomize it to send the energy for growth to repair. Also she can show everyone their strengths and how to defeat HOMELANDER making herself Top Boss, in the event of this, thinking she have defeated him and he realizing that all he needs is the BRAIN he will rip her apart just leaving the BRAIN to live in a Jar giving him all the knowledge he need to conquer. Knowing all his plans that could be a plan, another side quest for the Boys is to get their hands on the brain.
Speaking of the virus since she is a super genius ,I wonder if she would re construct the virus to kill homelander but make it tweaked so it only affects him and not all supes

What really pisses me off is I guarantee this is gonna be touched on in the show but safe is probably gonna spew some bullshit like “because I’m black they don’t wanna use my intelligence” I can already see that happening and the whole internet is gonna loses there shit over it
I don't think Vought wants any players smarter than they are.
"Hollanders" 😂😂😂😂
Yep she didn't give a single shit about Homelander killing the poor girl, she was just pissed he killed her before she could finish telling them what starlight had actually wanted her help with. She's a hard core supe supremacist and doesn't care about normal humans at all
@@tycepickett7263I disagree because I don’t think she really gives a shit about supes, either. She USED TO care, then the world let her grandmother die, and now she thinks the world isn’t worth saving. I think she’s more like The Joker in The Dark Knight: she wants to watch the world burn.
@@jonbodhi that's probably true ad well. She see's everything and everyone as being beneath her and doesn't seem to care about anything any more. But she still definitely see's supes as being superior to normal humans, she even tells the Deep that he is genetically superior to Ashley and that to a superior like him Ashley is the genetic equivalent of a large rodent. She can be a total nihilist and a supe supremacist at the same time.
@@tycepickett7263 Or she clocked The Deeps very obvious insecurity issues and used that to her advantage

“Nah that is when I get my lobotomy.”😂😂😂
If Sister Sage really is smart, than she knows Homelander cannot be trusted.
She does know
She very well knows. The show very clearly portrays their alliance to be shaky at best, built upon their mutual hatred for human beings. Once they achieve their common goal you can bet both will be trying to eliminate each other
Advanced Engineering as her first power may be clue that she will build something in the future.
She knows, she is just using him because Honelander is just a chess piece to her, she's using her pieces intelligently to get her own goal, whatever that may be.
The question is is she smart enough to control such an erratic sociopath as him.
Sage is Homelander’s new favorite Supe to the late Noir
I guess he likes black people
Homelander told her she could put her theories to test on the world stage, she really doesn't have anything to do but read books, now this gives her a way to use what she learned and actually take over as the worlds greatest sup. She is using everyone , including homelander. She wants to see how easy she can destroy vought , remember she has no love for them. And she was with them before. So this could be revenge for her. Proving theres no one smarter , even homlander.😢
She’s all about the chaos/civil war, did anyone notice her malice at the palice t-shirt in her first scene?
I wonder what Newman could do to her brain. Hypothetically she could be giving her micro aneurisms to throw off her abilities without her even knowing (of course only when in close proximity)
People in the comments finding out this show has been making fun of them the whole time lol
Real
Its hilarious 😂😂

😂😂😂 and MAD MAD!
It makes fun of everyone. Including you
This video is long overdue so happy to finally see a video on this Boys character. Wish I had Sister Sage’s powers of superhuman intelligence.
FYI to artist...breast tissue is fatty and glandular tissue external to the muscle. It is not a bulging muscle in females.
I’m sure the Ai program he uses will make of note of this.
@@ryanart7241😂
I assumed this was the underlying muscle under the breast tissue. That CAN bulge under the fatty tissue
That must make it muscle and not breast tissue, huh?
There is a "House M.D." episode in which a true genius is portraited. Smarter than House, that used alcohol to damage his brain to deal with his wife. She was not dumb but he was so smart that paraphrasing "You are closer to a chimp, than I to you." Talking about IQ. He was over 200. He ended up asking advise how to damage his body less, yet continuing to numb his mind, to live happier with her, for he was so lonely being so brilliant. I think they took quite a lot from that...
Wasn't alcohol but dextromethophan hydrobromide(dxm). But yeah, it saw that episode and drew parallels as well
@@chill_will9816 My bad, alcohol was only the first diagnosis
@@Milton2k lol, yeah, house always had to misdiagnose at least twice before he devined the actual diagnosis
I don't think a smart person would be in this situation in the first place
@@gladteer873 Maybe she thinks she is so smart that she can outsmart everyone... she seems rather ambitious. And that will be her downfall.
So now we know it's not just the brain but the whole skull that can regenerate. So using a bulletproof vest makes her pretty safe.
Given her intelligence couldn't she give herself super strength or psychic abilities being that she learns fast
You'd think a super genius could improve on Compound V. They should have given her psi powers like Carrie, Firestarter, or Scanners and advanced technology like Iron Man.
@@darlalathan6143 exactly what I'm saying
(Mention of Ryan's future, no care for fame but doing exactly what homelander needs)
Probably has to do it to avoid her head going pop
@@pixiestxNyomouf look for those who use smartest person VS smartest woman

The one that shocked me was A Train he actually respects her. I think they had a romantic relationship in the past and thats why he didn't want her on the 7
Sista sage definitely has her own agenda. Trust me
if they behead her, I'm sure she won't be recovering from that at all... Kimiko probably got the strenght to do that with supes that ain't at Homelander/Soldier Boy lvl of endurance
Just say you hate black female characters and shut up
A train looks anxious and stressed all the time lol, it’s not that hard to pick up on if you’re super observant lol.
She hasn't done anything particulary smart? I'm starting to believe someone also got a lobotomy
Nah he’s still racist. Straight up said he couldn’t have a Muslim in the Seven in season 3.
@@jaredrandell866 Islam isn’t a race
@@John_the_Paulreally? You gonna tell me him calling Silver Kincade Captain Al-Quaeda had nothing to do with race too?
@@jaredrandell866 Either he’s racist against Arabs, or he’s religiously bigoted. Probably both, but they’re still separate concepts.
the show has explicitly shown his vocal racism several times
I wonder if Homelander will show up when she's stupid
"Luring him in with physical intimacy"
Sage is literally the only person on boys show who is safe from homelander. Homelander needs her so badly, at episode 6 homelander started to cry / went to shock when few politicians asked him about trying to make a coup and peoples reaction to that... Victoria only stepped in becaause homelander was about to snap and murder whole usa goverment.
She lives in Detroit, so how smart can she possibly be.
COME AND FIND THE F*CK OUT!
I'm pretty sure her regeneration is not just restricted to the brain because the whole on the side of her head healed by the next episode and that's not part of the brain.
Sage will be the Brutus to Homelander's Ceasar.
She is probably going to betray homelander
i wonder if she will think of the cure for the supe killing pathogen??
People who love this show are already over analyzing the ending scene. It's obvious the show is introducing the concept of what happens when you give the dead/brain dead compound v. Zombie. Supe zombie
I think A-train helped her before since they were team members before with Team kicks
Noir helped her the first time
I agree, eating a blooming onion is a ghastly act.

Saturated Fat 44g
Trans Fat 4.5g
Cholesterol 95mg
Sodium 4140mg
Total Carbohydrates 107g
Dietary Fiber 14g
Sugars 20g
I wonder if the cholesterol and fat helps with the brain regeneration in any way....
I love her as soon as she spoke. I couldn’t watch the lobotomy tho 😮💨or at least watched through my fingers
Homelander only has her around to remind him of Stan Edgar
Sage KNOWS how to kill Homelander. Me too. Create a virus to accelerate his aging, which will weaken him from the inside out. His statue on the Gen V show foreshadows his fate.
Sage was never scared of Homelander
The Jar Jar Binks of the Boys …..
8:12 I think Noir helped with the first lobotomy.
Many thanks could you do a video on the rest of the 7?
there are videos
@@Garage-wt5jlThanks I'll check them out!😎👍🏻
NOPE! Black supes are the only ones that matter RACIST!!!
Something's wrong with her though. How was the smartest person in the world not working as a Vought scientist?
She clearly doesn’t like Vought, or being told what to do, or people in general.
Well you know that's how racism works😂😂😂.
Once again I am so impressed with the writers to come up with such a twisted version of "getting stoned and chilling" in the form of a freaking lobotomy!!!
I think another part is a detachment of emotions bc of her intelligence. I think that makes her unlikely to turn against Homelander.
Sister sage is my favorite!!!❤
Honestly her character was one of the best parts of Season 4
She seemed too be 2 steps ahead of everyone. But also shows that A-train was right that she doesn't know when too shut up. Leading too her getting shot by MM
Personally I don't think the writers of this season are smart enough to do sister sage justice. In order to write a smart character , you yourself have to be smart and they have If you like proven time and again that they really aren't unfortunately.
Lol keep coping.
@@orionishi6737 nothing I have to cope with, it's them losing viewers and audience scores in droves. If anything, you and them can "keep coping", as you say?
@@ZenKrio yeah, that's why you just had to respond to this message right away right? Because you're not coping.
We all know your real issues with the show and it's not that. You don't even know the end game of her character because the show isn't complete.
@@orionishi6737 she's the only good character introduced this season, hence my concern with her, I've been concerned with the writing since season 3 basically brought in Soldier Boy, then at the end did nothing with him, wasting my time.
I'm black, so don't insinuate my motives.
I responded because I like adult conversation. And because you commented. If I had a cope, It would be the fact that a show that I loved for two seasons got so bad so fast. And I have "coped" with that lol, you act like I'm alone on this.
It's no different than star wars, You take something that was awesome and then you make it garbage, Of course , there's going to be some coming to terms with that, But to just say "cope", Implies that you don't have an actual maturer, adult response to make, so you just make the closest thing you can to to a response to come off as having some sort of retort, but it doesn't translate to an adult argument.. I could make several statements of fact.As to why this season is garbage without bringing political crap into it, But most of it comes down to the fact that there's no reason that outside of plot BS, The Boys themselves should have been long killed..
Sister Sage could absolutely develop something to obliterate Homelander
It was revealed in episode 7 that black Noir was clapping Sister Sage's cheeks. This means that Black Noir performed that lobotomy on Sage.
Sister Sage is The Boys version of Ozymandias from Watchmen
How u know she doesn't have the ability to do it to herself?
You repeat yourself a lot
What if her brain is the Supe but the rest of her is not. Imagine her body is lasered or something and she becomes just a brain in a jar.
If she is smsrt she wouldnt be working closely with homelander because its a death sentence
She has obviously done it herself
I think Sage's story will conclude in Gen V Season 2 but idk how exactly. Since her only power is being smart she doesn't have to die as for the smartest thing to do is not get involved too much in the Supe-War Homelander is going to start
She most definitely is NOT scared of Homelander
SS!??
What does Sister Sage do? Come around on Thanksgiving and add spice to the turkey? Truth be told, it is the one spice we always forget.
Took a shot every time he says 'lobotomy' but almost died of alcohol poisoning not even halfway through☠
Was this written and voiced by ai?
nah, Sage isn't even trying, she's just playing around.
I believe she said she preferred just Saga, due to the racist implications of the "Sister" title
The boys not the guys
I can bet money that Homelander will kill her. Goes back to the scene when Ashley warned her about talking to Homelander a certain way because he can’t handle it. I think that’s gonna come full circle…. He’s going to “disappoint him some how, he’s going to lose confidence in her, or he’s just going to feel offended by something she says” I doubt she will turn on him tho..
Lobotomies aren't that painful. And she wasn't upset with Homelander for killing the girl she was questioning because it was shocking, she was upset because they couldn't find anything out from her anymore.
Even with the lobotomy is she still smarter than most
She was shot in the head and survived, I wonder if she has some other power we don’t know yet.
I don't think you had enough info to fill this video as it was repetitive. but i did enjoy what i heard thanks :)
We now know it was most likely Black Noir.
Shouldn't she be smart enough to figure out how to kill Homelander or improve compound V? Now that she's the CEO Of Vought... she's like Shuri....
