I would like to thank you for staying true to the "old school" style of bushcrafting. I love the traditional equipment so much more even if it is not "as comfortable" or the latest, greatest, and lightest. Thank you for your integrity and commitment to this channel.
Your welcome my friend 😁👍🏻 and I appreciate your kind feedback very much 🙏🏻. I’m glad you like my old school style and grateful to have you onboard my channel 🏕🔥🇩🇰 Tom
Once upon a time when I was younger there was Ray Mears... Now Tom is here. Thank you Viking for being here and let us enjoy with you. The best bushcraft channel out there. Old school. Skål!
Old school. 👍 I started longer ago than I like to think about, with a canvas pup tent, wool blanket, canteen, cast iron skillet and a nap sack. Another great video.
This was a nice trip in the wood. Love the new backpack you made it's awesome. Nice knife you got it's pretty awesome. Thank again for that great video Tom.......
I am in love with that bowl!! Do you perhaps sell them..maybe with a tree inside? Your new tunic looks very warm and comfortable also very stylish on you. I hope I do not offend you but when I see you from behind in this outfit you wore today you remind me of a civil war soldier....I mean this as a compliment!!!!! Strong brave confident in your skills. Thank you for another peaceful camp in your amazing forest. Very beautiful unlike our forest
No I’m sorry but I don’t sell anything 😊 I simply don’t have the time for making stuff for sale 🙂. And I’m honoured that you compare me with a civil war soldier 💪🏻😉 … that’s cool 😎 Tom
I love it when you wink when you spice your drink, I was thinking that you could of eaten your lunch like a shish kabob and leave it on the stick. Love the knife the scenery. And once again love this. Thank you
I really like how you make your own gear mostly Viking style or probable Viking style. I like it that your not pushing expensive gear and pushing links to buy from sponsors. Your channel is a real channel with real bushcraft. It’s good to practice our bush craft so when the time comes we’re ready and have the experience which can be the difference between life or death. It’s also about protecting our loved ones. I go camping a lot and bushcraft to me is an extension of that. Besides in my country (US) they push a lot of preparedness these days with the climate changing and the weather becoming more severe. I’ve always been that way, even carry break down kits in my cars. When the storms come there won’t be a convenient market down the street. 👍🏻 We do bratwurst on the grill with bell peppers and onions and it’s quite delicious. Eat with mustard of course. 👍🏻
Yeah I know from television and RUclips that preparedness is a big thing in the US … and that many are scared about the future. And it’s not only because of the climate change but also because of the uncertainty that you have regarding the politics and social issues 🤔 and I can easily understand that. 😉👍🏻 Here in Denmark 🇩🇰 … and I believe in most of Europe we don’t have many that are doing preparedness … maybe it’ll come sometime in the future… but as a Dane I don’t fear the future and have confidence in my politic system … maybe a cultural differences?? Thanks for your feedback and for sharing your thoughts with us. Stay safe my friend and remember to enjoy life 🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Hello Tom Viking. I mostly watched your RUclips videos and saw your transformation from buschrafter to real viking. The current equipment represents you and represents the true experience of the Vikings. However, it was a bit difficult for a Viking to have a Frost River or an Esse in armed raids. All the best, Tom 🇷🇴🇷🇴
Ha ha that’s right Marius 😉👍🏻 and that’s why I change it on my Viking videos … and I’m glad you like it. Appreciate that you are following me on my small adventures and hope you’ll join me again soon 🏕🔥🌲Tom🇩🇰
The 'X' reinforcement you added to the pack frame is inspired: now it will not 'wrack' into a sort of parallelogram shape. I have been admiring your wooden bowl in several of your videos. Of course, the shape is pleasing and unusual, but it is the size that is almost perfect for a single 'real' dinner meal.
RUclips is ridiculous! Why haven’t you been in my suggested feed!? You are quite the craftsman Sir. Thank you for taking the tremendous amount of time it takes to put this together.
I’m so grateful that you found my anyhow 😁👍🏻 and appreciate having you onboard Hope you’ll share my channel with people you think may like watching my videos 🏕🔥🇩🇰 Tom
I’ve been watching your vids for quite awhile and this one was everything and more. Thanks Tom for your attention to detail. I love your interpretation of bush craft very much........
Hi Tom, nice video and also the weather was great. Laugh, as black priest in the forest and whisky in the coffee, don't let the upper shepherd catch you. For some time now I always take 5 x 240 liter garbage bags with me. On 2 you can lie dry and when the weather changes, you can crawl into two, with a blanket I slept in it at 5°C, it was nice and warm and dry. The 5 bags take up hardly any space and weigh almost nothing. On the tarps I attached carabiners everywhere and some more in my pocket. Especially when it rains, it takes less than 10 minutes and the tarps are standing and you are dry. Greetings from Frankfurt and stay healthy.
The upgrades to your pack frame are excellent, especially the leather box. Beautiful day in the woods. Thanks for letting us come along. BTW, I'm adding a bit of salt to my coffee. 👍
Yeah a great little spot to relax in … going back there soon 😉 Appreciate that you came along and enjoyed it together with me Atb to you my friend 🏕🔥 Tom
Tom👍👍 Beautiful old growth forest your in, green and lush. Talk about old school, that pack frame is as vintage as they get. Yeah, the upgrade to the frame and the new leather storage box are typical Cimbrer quality. The gear you have loaded on it in this episode is also very well planned and implemented to accompany you on the journey. Those kabobs for the meal looked delicious cooking on the Bushbox and followed up by a couple of signature cups of Cimbrer coffee😉😉(distant wink noted)make for a perfect outing. Fantastic video, well done. Thanks for the hard work and for bringing us along. See you in the next one. Stay safe and... Enjoy!
Ha ha that’s great Terry 😉😉 Thank you so much my friend for your kind feedback 😁👍🏻 it warms my heart and makes me smile. Thanks for joining me again brother 🤗🏕🔥🇩🇰 Tom
Hi Tom, how goes it my brother? Another fine day to take time out in the forest for a little meal and some "WINK" coffee, lol. Your Raven knife is very cool and I like the addition to your backpack. Here in Bush Alaska we use moss for cleaning as well but, we also use it for hot days, we take the nice cool moss and rub our necks and face to wipe off the sweat and good for when you wake up in the morning. Thanks for the invite.

Hi Friend, drill a hole in the locking bar on your new leather bag and tie a leather cord thru the hole. Tie the other end to the frame so you will not lose this decorated wooden bar. I like what you are doing, keep up the excellent videos. Thanks.
Your camp is very comfortable and relaxing with the crows serenade. I’m going to see if I can make the leather sachem like yours, but from Buffalo rawhide to safely transport my melodian at re-enactments. You are a highly skilled craftsmen and I very much appreciate you and your videos. Ačiū labai.

Eyyy Tom. Very, very great modification in your backpack. All a nice gear equipment, congratulations for it. I only would put 4 “D” rings in the top and so You can fix a jacket or something like that. Congratulations Tom. Be safe and take care. Things are black in Spain. A very big hug.
Very nice, Tom. It is always a pleasure to watch your adventures in the woods. It is so peaceful and beautiful. Enjoyed the serenity and the very nice leatherwork on your pack kit.

Hello Tom. You've had some good weather to enjoy a day in the Forrest. The leather case you made for your pack frame is excellent and allows you to carry your gear. The Falcon Knife from Grimfrost is very old school and fits your gear perfectly. The handle you added to the knife enhances it's appearance and probably fits you hand better. Thank you for another excellent video. God Bless and ATB TO you and your family..
I really like the new leather box you made for your back pack frame! That, along with the knife, are very useful, decorative and old school! Lunch looked delicious! Awesome seeing how you pack everything up. Thanks for bringing us along my friend!
Your camp cooking ALWAYS makes me hungry! Great film Tom! At 21:00 Huginn & Muninn were making noise as you ate. Very peaceful video, I am living vicariously watching your outings as our local forests are currently closed for the tremendous wildfires in Colorado. People would frown on me firing up my bushbox in the woods!
Great video Tom, old school through and through. Love the new knife, primitive was the perfect word to describe it. Keep living the dream and drinking the whisky brother🤜.
Beautiful and artistic knife, very interesting backpack frame and nicely made. Beautiful laser etching on your wooden bowl. I love to watch what you're doing as I learn so much about my own culture which I wasn't allowed to learn. ❤
Waw the great Cimbrer is uniqe, how instructive and relaxing video like allways what can i say ,marwelouse be wellcome and make another one i'll expect for you goodbye for now and stay safe😉
Beautiful day, cracking knife Tom i think the X on the backpack is a good idea would of been a shame if it snapped. You have a beautiful kit coming together Tom needing a wheel barrow soon lmao.Glad you sharpened the axe,it wont bite you now.Stay safe man.
Thanks Tom for a very nice video. You are one talented man. I'm going to bed very soon and your video has made me so relaxed. I just love the way you make leather items and everything fits exactly right. That forest looked like a nice place to do an overnighter. Thanks again for taking the time to share your adventures in the outdoors. Stay safe my friend. See ya buddy.
Tom- another great vid. I continue to be impressed by all of the storage systems and organization that you have with your pack and other things that you need. I enjoyed the previous vid’s on the water bottle and the Viking pack frame. And I enjoyed seeing how you made your meal in this vid as well. And, of course, I always enjoy the little “wink’ at coffee time. I always get a huge laugh out of it- EVERY TIME. Thank you for what you do. I look forward to your vids every week.
@@cimbrerbushcraft-vikingheritag it's like getting goose bumps from visual or audio queues. Basically it's the enjoyment of quite sounds. In this case the sounds of nature and wood chopping
Tom, I’m so glad for these videos of your peaceful times and your excellent, perhaps even award-winning photography. It is nice to see that you “er ikke koronasmittene.” I pray your family remains well, “ogsa.”
Very enjoyable video Tom, it was like sitting in your camp with you, great old school mods you have done, and beautiful knife, very relaxing, thanks for sharing👍
Greatings my freind Tom, its been awhile i have spent the last 7 months living in the backcountry hunting, trapping, etc that tent and stove i sent you pictures of worked amazing, i am back for a few months, i always enjoy your videos, take care my freind hope all is well, Talk soon
Love this video. Nice backpack and thanks for very specific show of it. I think i make viking backpack in my next video to. Best regards from Estonia! Stigandr Bushcraft
That’s great my Viking friend 😉👍🏻 and thanks for your feedback … looking forward to seeing how your going to make a pack frame yourself Atb to you and your family 🏕 Tom
😉 Very interesting transitions really makes it feel like I'm there. Continuity is on point. The long distance shots felt awkward, like I'm watching another camper from afar instead of being invited to his camp.
Tom that leather storage pack upgrade looks amazing and autumn scenes from the wood are breathe taking... That frame gets every time better and more complete it was pleasure to watch .
Good morning Tom☕️ Excellent work! Enjoyed your video, relaxing, delightful food, and informative camp indeed!! That backpack kit is spot on, well built!! Nicely done as always!! ✨👍

Hello Tom. Thanks for the video.
Your welcome my dear friend 👍🏻😉 and thanks for joining me again 🏕🔥🌲🇩🇰 Tom
Tom- another great vid. I continue to be impressed by all of the storage systems and organization that you have with your pack and other things that you need. I enjoyed the previous vid’s on the water bottle and the Viking pack frame. And I enjoyed seeing how you made your meal in this vid as well. And, of course, I always enjoy the little “wink’ at coffee time. I always get a huge laugh out of it- EVERY TIME. Thank you for what you do. I look forward to your vids every week.
That’s great Liam 😁👍🏻 and I really appreciate all your kindness and support very much. Your comment makes me happy and grateful 🤗🏕🔥

Atb to you and your family 🏕

😉 Very interesting transitions really makes it feel like I'm there. Continuity is on point. The long distance shots felt awkward, like I'm watching another camper from afar instead of being invited to his camp.
Appreciate your feedback Zachary 👍🏻😉 and glad you came along and visit me 🏕🔥

Belgian brock,is a really good gridstone.👍I have inherited my fathers old Brock. The traditional method of wetting it is with saliva 😄
