Using the incorporation of sinew on bows of all kinds had became an art craft over the millennia of time, and the same can be said for the shellac based glue he created from the oils of the meal, … and yep, not something one could whittle from a single tree branch, over night, … the concept of using the “left overs” of animal meals, and finding uses for the remnants, is an indelible part of mankind’s past, …
I do understand these days at the tender age of 69 years the how, & why, it took mankind so long to climb up the evolutionary ladder to where we are today, … but the old ways need not be forgotten, because the more we advance with the knowledge of those ways, the more human-like we yet become, perhaps there will one day be a use for the shellacking of the sinew based materials into the helmets, shields, or these types of materials to protect mankind, in space, … I know some may spoof, or act like haters, but hey, if it works as intended, who cares? Right?

    B. You joint the woods with some type of resin or glue which amazingly does not skid off or break.
    C. You heat the bow to make bent adjustments, soak it with some kinda resin or glue and then used some kinda fibre thingy and glued it on the bow.
    D. Decorative too.
But dude, you could have explained a thing or two...anyways amazing!

Thats seriosly powerful bow you made many hand made bow makers i watch their bows max reach 65 , yours is a beast of a bow i also notice that it shoots faster than any other i ve seen. If tradition is correct i dont know but it clearly looked like the one our janissary used back in the days no wonder they were one of the strongest armys world ever seen. A lot of work you put in this and i am amazed how smart people back in the days to build an effective strong weapon like this with this complex methods awesome job man Salute from Turkey.
