Thank you :-))) No need for a video, I just use some non liquid soap and wash the brushes two times directly after I finished the day painting...plain and simple, no need for any harsh, toxic or harmful thinner. And it works...I have some brushes that are over 30 years old and are still working :-)))
So beautiful! On the trees, do you identify in your mind what type of tree it is and what type of leaves that tree has or do you do all trees pretty much the same?
Hi Jenet, I follow the reference photo for size and shape - have to admit that I have no realy clue about trees and all the different types of trees there are ;-)))
Wow! Great job! I'm still very new landscape to oil painting. Learning as much as possible. Do you lay down linseed oil on all your works before painting?
Thank you :-))) I only use the linseed oil when I want to prime the high density plates that I very often paint on. Like in this video here. They suck in the oil of the colour SO QUICK that I have to do it - otherwise the colour dries so quick that blending is not really working any more. But I do not put the oil onto canvas.
@brennerfineart ahh, ok. I've been using regular old primed canvases or canvas boards. I've pretty much been using the Alexander wet on wet method for the blending. The liquid white seems to dull the colors down a bit. Thanks for your reply.
Like any other of my videos here on RUclips - I have to cut the whole video to reduce the length of it...in my early days I tried to show full time tutorials here on RUclips but they did horribly as people bailed out of them after 7, 8 minutes...which is bad when you have a 1 hour video...so I HAD to reduce the length of the videos (which helped the rentention and therefore RUclips started to recommend them out to more and more people) and sometimes the cut is a hard one unfortunately... But I have a Patreon channel where you can and will see the whole material without time lapse including the whole colour mixing process: www.patreon.com/brennerfineart

Hi antonio Thanks for your RUclips channel. I benefit a lot from it and you are good You might want to take a look at The medieval miniature art. Consider, for example, the Limbourg brothers. Or other masters who are active Were in the late Middle Ages around AD 1400. I would really appreciate it if you wanted to make a video there. This concerns egg temepera on vellum. Have a nice day and hope to see a video soon. Thank you kindly
You`re welcome David :-) I once tried egg tempera...but it was nearly like painting with acrylics...nearly no time for blending...I like to blend a lot, I do not like so much the layering technique that you have to apply when you paint with tempera or acrylics. But thanks a lot for your tips :-)))
Thank you for this tutorial and your painting is amazing as always

Love the creation truly but I have to be honest... all the 'yeah's' every few words make it difficult for me (personally)to hear the your instructions
You have any Facebook or Instagram account???
Yes I have...but I am not very active there...just no time left with my dayjob and the painting for the youtube videos unfortunately
