A quick question, when you are choosing the "open in another tab" and "sponsored" options, I see that it automatically flips the other option of "no follow." That is not happening for me. What significance does the "no follow" option? You mention it being important but not why. TYIA
What if I have old blog posts that are not setup with affiliate links...they get traffic, but no money. Will going back into these and inserting affiliate links hurt my rankings or traffic?

Great useful video. Does anyone know if there's any difference between using the short and long (full) text links? I seem to vaguely remember there can be a downside to using the short link, but I can't quite remember what it is. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Great video. Question though, when I use links, I see the option to select sponsored and no follow. But when I use affiliate images, I don't see that option. Is it already in the HTML code from SiteStripe or do I need to add it someway? Thanks!

My amazon affiliate link only comes in an code. I can't seem to get it to work in Wordpress using elementor
this helped me so much. I'm new to affiliate links, and I wasn't adding my links correctly. This is golden. I do have a question...should I include some verbiage on my Terms page about affiliate links? Do you have any thoughts on what that content should be?
Hey! So glad it was helpful. You should have a few sentences on each blog post that you use for transparency and letting people know there are affiliate links on the post. And then you also want to have a terms and legal page that covers you too. Hope that helps! Steph

Hi, I wondered if you can add amazon affiliate links and images to a Wordpress 'page' and not to a blog. I can't seem to find the same linking and html options when on the page using elementor?
You can, you just need to click the link button. It's there in the images, text, headlines, etc. Let me know if you need more help finding it.
This is a great tutorial for a updated version! Thank you! But one thing that happened with mine, was that it didn't continue down to the "sponsored" button. So I couldn't turn it on.. or the "mark as no follow button" either. I did leave a disclaimer saying it was an affiliate link. Should I just leave it like that for now until I publish it? What should I do? Thank you for this video!
Hi Stacey! I would leave it like that for now but try to contact someone to help you out. Perhaps try your blog host. I would start there and see where that takes you.

Right, when you are editing in WordPress, it's going to show you the link you have there but not take you to the page until the blog post is live.

Include the disclaimer right away on each blog post and also have a separate page for it on your website.
Hi Steph, I had product images on my website for just over a year. One day, they disappeared. Poof, just like that. In place were the text next to a tiny square. I tried several approaches. Deleting the code and going to Amazon to copy and past in the code. I tried using image only and image and text. I tried this multiple times on different days over several months. I've searched on-line and haven't found any answers, except lots of other people having the same problem of suddenly one day, images disappearing. I've also read where lots of people at their first time doing this and not getting images to show. Any idea what's going on? Thank you!
