I couldn't imagine what she was feeling when she saw the blood on her daughter's shoes. Then he actually brings all of this to her house. Of course he was not thinking of no one but himself. This case looks clear and shut to me. Just looking at his reaction when she was talking. He was scratching up the writing pad. Of course he has nothing to write. I think she was honest and open and did what she needed to do.
Which is scarier? Being with a dude you think might've killed somebody? Or being with a dude who killed and thought it was nothing? Or being with a killer who let you see some of the evidence?

A very credible witness despite the swagger and indifference. This is damning testimony, and it's be impossible to hide the rage the defendant had for each word

I feel bad for his parents. None of us would want to see such darkness in our child but I would hope to think I would step up to the plate if my son did something like this.

I thought she was excellent, to me all I saw was a strong hard working mother that was with the wrong man. The defence got a couple of inconsistencies but that's to be expected. I think she may have had massive regrets that she had had her daughter in the car after knowing there was at least blood in the front of the car, and tried to protect anyone from thinking of her as a bad mother, but for me I don't see that at all. Fair play to her she more than held her own.
I think he is going to have to take the stand if he has any chance in his case.

From experience, you don’t know what to do when you see something like that. It’s hard to suspend your disbelief to begin with and process it. Then fear kicks in. You try to tell yourself maybe it’s from this or that and don’t WANT to even believe what you know is likely true - that much blood can’t be lost and the person is okay or even alive. It’s terrifying to realize someone you’re close to has done something like that.

I think that's an easy question. It's cuz he wanted to rape her. He could have robbed anybody just walking those streets. This was premeditated. He chose and stalked an attractive female. She got in the car, he stopped somewhere, hopped in the back, got on top of her, she fought back so he got enraged and started stabbing her. That's the only logical explanation.
An iphone that looks girlie in his car, bleach smell in car, blood, his car matches video... Evidence is piling up.
Plus he is on camera trying twice to use victims ATM card. He runs from police officer after being pulled over.

How do you know that’s where he’ll spend eternity? What if he goes to prison and at some point gets saved? Wont his sins be forgiven then and he’ll go to heaven? A lot of people in prison get saved. Especially prisoners who are in for life.

Well according to some of the other comments that I had read on other sites, some think that this witness wasn't credible. I've now watched her entire testimony & I think she was a fantastic witness. Just hope now after this tragedy that she has learned to be okay with being by herself. Everytime she sat up on that stand & said, "I don't like being home alone," I would cringe. Personally I love my alone time.

What I don’t understand is why, after she saw patches of blood here and there in the car, would she still get in a car with him, or let him back in her house, or let him have her’s and her mom’s house keys ? How non-thinking and risky could one person be !!!!! I would have found some cover story to take my keys back, then I’d have immediately headed to the police station. Definitely he would not have come back into my house ever again, especially when I had my little child there ! Golly, this lady is just looking to get herself murdered.
It’s not that simple when you are in shock and I can guarantee after seeing all of that she was shook to the core. I understand your reasoning but you have to imagine he has probably not been gentle with her in the past and she knew better than to spook him. He could have killed her.

Who discovers blood all over their car, and casually cleans it/ puts a sheet over it and never calls the police and reports it, and also tells your girlfriend to mind her business? Most people would freak out, and tell anyone close them, that this blood mysteriously appeared in their car.
I feel so bad for her.. she is heartbroken and scared and embarrassed. I can’t imagine how she feels knowing she is with a man who violently killed this girl😭😭
Yesterday the defense seemed to have a good case for reasonable doubt, but this witness changed everything. Pretty wild!
Where were her friends who didn't verify if he was the driver or not? She was drunk they say, but they just let her hop into any ole car? Great "friends" they are. Let this be a lesson to a lot of you, verify first to see if he's your driver. Have him call out your name first. Don't just go hopping into any car.
She walked out by herself. That's why none of them knew where she was. She said she was going home, called Uber, walked outside by herself

Anyone who gets rides like this should carry a window/windshield breaker tool. They come small enough for small purses. At least you might have a chance of getting out. Poor girl! I don't know how her family and friends can take it. Grace to them all!
I've been out to places with my friends and they'll say their UBER is outside and we'll hug and part ways. I'm sure you would think we should verify our friends got in the right car but we don't do it.
@@wyteriawilson4007 Perhaps you should have your friends text you right after they have checked with the driver, BEFORE they get in the car. Make it a rule. It's not like the driver is going to leave because or as they text you. This way you know they have checked first!

Could you people in the comments section stop talking about how "brave" and "honest" the witness is? She said she didn't accept the "found" cell phone because she prefers Androids over I-Phones. A brave and honest person would have suggested they take the phone to the police or post a "lost and found" ad on the internet because she would have sympathy for its rightful owner. Liking or disliking the product should have nothing to do with it.

That's the way she has to ask the question pursuant to the rules because she is not aloud to ask any leading or cross examination type questions when it is her direct witness. Yes, its awkward, but that's the rules, to ask it any other way would draw an objection to the form of the question from the defense.
