Water T doesn’t remember Morty or Get Schwifty because he isn’t from the dimension where they teamed up and made the song. The whole family from had to change dimensions to the parmeesian dimension - where Get Schwifty never happened.
So it’s not the same Water T from the original episode, but yet the opening scene of this episode is identical to the ending of that episode?
Naw the joke is that's not the Original Voice Actor for Morty 😂 that's why he was like idk you wait but your point makes sense
This and all the replies make so much sense. @newrockstars
to the parmeesian dimension - where Get Schwifty never happened.
What makes you think so?
The parmesian universe basically has the same timeline as the previous one, so they definitely have their own get schwifty...
I think a true “S” would have a face at the start of the first first curve not in the middle. I knew something looked off about the S but couldn’t place it even though they straight told you the S was bad I didn’t realize he was going to be a 8 and then the infinite sign blew my mind as well lol.
They managed to do an episode entirely without Rick!
i expected rick to blast in and save the day, it left me feeling weird at the end not seeing him all episode but we did get an episode without morty earlier this season, so not really tooo surprising
The only episode without rick turns out to be the worst rated ep of all time
I enjoyed this episode so much. 😊
@@wryttei kept thinking that at the end morty would be back home with rick and kinda tell him about it and we’d see ricks reaction to the episodes event. probably just rick shitting on morty’s dumb adventure.
@@MANTISxBfor me its second worst ever, that incest baby one was rough
Anybody else think this episode was a bit out there even by Rick and Morty standards? It was like seeing an entire episode based on an Interdimensional television skit
I was thinking the same thing. Felt just a bit out of place for an entire episode compared to their normal style.
It was crap! It was a throw away.
I personally loved this season but this was by far my least favorite episode
That Back to the Future reference with the producer calling his cousin has another gem in it. Marvin D was calling his cousin Chuck, as in Chuck D from the rap group Public Enemy
i thought I was the only one that caught that 💯
One of the most overused pop culture reference ever used and people applaud it. These writers are trash and Rick and Mortyy has completely fell off.
I liked it, since I saw the episode today it felt extra special because December 5th is the day Doc thought of the Flux Capasitor
And Chuck D can be from the same planet as Ice T 😂
Notice that oxygen S was the secret villain and oxygen just happens to be the 8th element
I can't say I will be watching this episode again.
Dreadnought's decimal point minion at 6:06 is called "Decimal Crumb" in the closed captions, a reference to Jabba the Hutt's sidekick Salacious Crumb
the golden cube where sinistar 7 about to put the pendant has the "golden ratio" symbol on it
The one next to the “A” building signifies that the two races are “A1” which is popular slang for “all good”.
I think the IGAF in the beginning stands for “I Give A F…”
That’s the lesson he learned in Get Schwifty
You have a good pfp
Yes the real ice T voices his father... He wasn't happy with the first episode but they made up and brought him in for this
I dont think this concept was interesting enough to have its own episode
i agree
Agreed. The writers should've included a B plot with Rick and the rest of the family to help carry this complete waste of an episode.
I don't think you're interesting enough to make that claim lol
@@NightEnigma8Stop saying that episodes are trash, god, they are not. Rveryone has their own tastes, and they don't give you the ability to sh*t on whatever you want
It wasn’t a bad episode but it was my least favorite of the season
This episode was probably one of the best it felt so fast and funny ash, personally I loved it
It was okay but it was way better than the last episode with the kuato
It was bad, it's like they asked their children to write the episode
@@SkSyrup5 same. I thought a couple of these episodes have been misses but this one wasn't bad
@@joeytulips2180 the spaghetti episode is way worse
I wonder if there is any significance that there is no title card, being a no Rick episode.
Didn’t even notice that
For those who don’t know
Pacman is Sean Penn’s characters name in the street in the movie Colors from the 80’s.
He played a messed up cop in LA.
Ice T made the lead song on the soundtrack for the movie also called “Colors”
Big hit, great song so it’s dope that they used that joke in the scene taking place in the 80’s while he’s listening to his Walkman.
Look up the song and the movie. Both are dope.
14:31 how did you not comment on how ice cube transforming looked like steve from minecraft lol
the sex joke with water T sinister 7 is "they are in a 69" but together they are 7T or "70" 1 more than 69
The amount of dad jokes in this episode is admirable
8 was Peter Serafinowicz, legendary voice ngl
The golden fortress around 11:40 looks like it has the Fibonacci Sequence all over it.
7's father isn't just a Zero, he is an Empty Set. You can tell by the electricity he uses for his mouth.
12:04 they would call it “Pd”ing not to be confused with lil “pd”ing or “db”ing or “qb”ing.
This episode didn't get a single laugh out of me. And yes I got all the math and English puns ... I just couldn't get into this.
I like the The Challenge of The Gobots reference at 14:38 and I can't believe that they referenced both The Gobots and Transformers in the episode.
I was expecting you to mention the similarities with the death of the Zero being a callback to Emporor Ghestal in Final Fantasy 6. Being usurped by a crazed underling (Kefka) on the Floating Continent and the statues.
Granted that could be a trope, but watching that gave me crazy deja vu and telegraphed the entire scene before the betrayal lol
arise magma T was definitely a reference to arise Rodimus Prime from that transformers movie
Sinistar is also a very popular 80s game. Was akin to Galaga & Space Invaders
Water is not a conductor of electricity, it's actually an insulator. It's the impurities in water that conduct electricity.
What’s better than 69? Seventy (7-T)
I love how they paid homage to the Transformer movie, star wars and back to the future 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Pacman was the name of Sean Penn's Cop character in "Colors"
Ice-T had PacMan on his shirt, because that’s the name of Sean Penn’s character in the movie Colors (The song Ice T is doing in this). Marvin D’s cousin is Chuck D from Public Enemy. The IGAF as the cities gate. There’s a lot of hip hop references of course ice cube in the end cube and T were in the movie Tresspass together.
9:01 GTAV subreddit lol
Just want to point out pure, deionized water isn't conductive
They should have had a gag where the letters O,N and E corner the number 1 and make the joke how about a little ONE on 1
Water T doesn't remember Morty because this isn't the same Water T from the Get Schwifty episode. Morty and his family abandoned the Get Schwifty dimension. This is Water T of the Parmesian dimension
Exactly Morty's so dumb😂😂😂
Water T only became Water T as a result of Get Schwifty though. And the parmesian dimension is confirmed to be completely identical to their original universe apart from the parmesian thing.
@@glowstoneunknown shit valid point
They never said Hans Solo was not force-sensitive in the movies, and based on his instinct and intuition to get out of trouble it's highly likely he was.
Then why did he not appear as a normal force ghost???
"The force" was actually the nickname for Han Solos penis...So he definitely had force powers.
@@MiloMurphysLaw force sensitive does mean they trained in the force, not all Jedi could become force ghosts either, that's something that requires years of training.
3:11 water is not naturally conductive, in fact, in its pure state, it is an insulator, however, water is good at holding free ions, which will conduct electricity
The same way 'Rise of the Numbericons' at the beginning resembled a Transformers title, 'Challenge of the Geomitrons' is done in the style of 'Challenge of the Gobots'. A second layer to the joke? Gobots were originally a competitor to Transformers, but is now also owned by Hasbro.
Another Star Wars connection: S is voiced by Peter Serafinowicz, the original voice of Darth Maul.
Water T saying "father" just cracks me up every time. "Magnesium J...Hydrogen F...father."
glyph jumper at 3:25 might be a nod to cliffjumper from transformers
Might?
Thought the opening exterior shot of the government building was supposed to be ‘IGAF’ since Water T now cared?
Did you notice one of the math problems on the chalkboard is wrong? 5x3 =15
I'm sure you're old enough to know they're not hashtags, they're pound signs lol.
Surprised no one is mentioning the obvious Transformers reference in Cliffjumper.
Magma T transformation reminded me of rodamist prime, also the Ewok like things making the ship quick is like the junk people in transformers! Where they also had a Ewok like party
I kept hearing alpha trion in the episode
Hey, congratulations!
I am also happy someone mentioned devs because it so unpopular, but so amazing
I loved this episode all the puns were incredible 😂😂
Cool
Probably the worst episode of the entire series but people can enjoy whatever they want so i dont really care anymore
I had fun with it
No they were absolutely horrendous
“The Challenge Of The Geomitrons” is a direct reference to The Challenge Of The Go-Bots”, even style of writing/font is exactly the same
I had no idea that was Dan Harmon doing an Ice T impression.... It sounded so convincing I assumed it was ICE T .
A great tribute to Hip-Hop culture in this episode. Without watering down the culture. Funny, smart and action-packed.
1+3 was listed twice on the chalk board, once aswer was correct, the other was the answer for 1+2, which wasn't listed.
The Pacman Shirt is maybe a Callback to Colors because Cop played by Sean Penn is called Pacman and Ice T. made the Track for the Movie
Sinistar was also a sweet video game back in the Arcade days.
The buildings in that first scene could be iDGAF 😂😂
aww, congrats on the baby!!!
also, the end buildings spell out "A-1" the steak sauce
It is not a coincidence that the Numericons had the same number on their ship as Rick did for the Decoys password.
Return of the Jedi had it's 40 year anniversary this year, so all the Star Wars references are a nice tribute.
I definitely thought planet E-10 was gonna be a "...eatin' deez nutz!" Joke
Congrats on the kiddo!! I hope everyone is healthy and safe :D
I literally just watched Whiplash about 6 hours before this came out
HOW. HOW HOW.
Also, insanely good movie. Reminded me a lot of The Perfection.
The decimal point is a play on Selacious Crumb from Jabba’s palace
@1:12 that K on the bottom right looks like Nick Cage
It's clear from listening to this he's never watched the original Transformer movie from the 80s :(
What if water t doesnt recongnize morty because they never got "shwifty" in the "parmesian" universe
Fax
the golden fortress has the golden ratio all over it
You need to do the gta 6 trailer
So nothing about Rick not being there? At all?
I feel like it makes sense Water T doesn't remember Get Schwifty, that didn't happen in this universe.
Yessss, 🎄 Murray Crimbus to us all, more Hector and Jess for the coming weeks!! 🎁
there was an f and a 4 together at the end which is a reference to alt-f-4 which famously tricks people to exit there computer screen
Congrats Erik! Happy for you mate.
I would definitely watch an entire season of this spin-off!!!
S/8 was peter serefinowich, the voice of darth maul
Han's situation was likely just in Kylo's head. A memory or vision.
Congrats on your kid make sure he watches this show as soon as he can lol
When they had a basically only Rick episode earlier in the season I figured they give Morty his own episode before the end of the season.
Morty was basically background fodder in this episode. He could've been removed and nothing would really change. Water T and Goldenfold completely overshadowed him.
Back to the future parody... the engineer Marvin d called his cousin Chuck..... like Chuck d?
@4:16, the times table is off for 3 * 5. all other of these simple equations are obviously correct, but there is one tiny mistake on the board.
I hope math teachers can somehow use this episode to break through to their hip hop loving troubled students, that math is KEWL!!! lol
Yay
PACMAN might be a reference to Sean Penn's character in the movie Colors.
How could you not mention the Gobots reference at the end?
3:20 Interestingly, so are the clouds.
E-10 is a deez nuts joke somehow popular on twitch 1-2 years ago. E-10 deez nuts!
9:32 the K is probably shredded wheat, like Kellogg's.
Power of rap saved the day
It's rare to not see Rick in an episode. I liked it. It was funny 🤣🤣💯
Marvin D, calling Chuck D from Public Enemy not being a missable detail can't be correct.
Oxygen has the atomic number 8.
I'm here to point out the Googas reference. It was what the squiggles here were called, and was also the name of short by Dan and Justin from the long long ago.
The President in one episode calls something an “alien googa”
I like the kid with the metal t-shirt with the title of a Phil Collins 1980s single.
😅🤣Lmao!! I thought Magma-Q sounded Ali Saddiq
3:19 so are the clouds
The logo at the very end setting up the next "movie" is a spoof on the Gobots logo, especially the Challenge of the Rock Lords movie
7:04 Segway as smooth as gravel.
That was a really cool ep but I was hoping they'd do more Math stuff like Alan Becker's math animation
It clearly said CANEL not “cancel “ u just making random stuff up.
Infinity DEFINITELY had cod zombies voice effect lmfaooo
