I wish that the surface go line had a built in fan to reduce thermal throttling as I adore this product…..I guess I’ll just put a small fan behind it but……Yeah. Great review sir. 👍🏿😊
Great review! I own it and l love it. I use it as a secondary device, taking it with me when l travel to do my teacher training. Yes, it does have its limitations, just like everything in life does, but one must adapt it to their use.
i'm watching on a surface go 1. Still going strong! I just subscribed. That was a very informative video. I think I'll hold off replacing until this one dies. Cheers
I had tried both the Surface Go and the Surface Go 2. It seems Microsoft failed to learn their lesson from those devices with this one. The CPU they are putting in it is just too weak, 4gb of RAM is just not enough, and 64gb eMMC storage is also not enough. If MS would be willing to take less of a profit margin on the device, and give it slightly better hardware I think it could do very well.
I completely agree with you! I used to have the surface go 1 and thought they probably made a significant performance jump, but it's still a bit slow for the most basic tasks
I have a base 4gb spec Surface go 1st gen and with Fedora(Surface kernel) + GNOME it's a super enjoyable. If anything runs windows to slow, just get linux. It's not that hard. Also the touch interface with GNOME is league's better than windows.
Yeah, that's coming pretty soon, which makes the Surface Go 4 (which was released almost a year ago) a questionable purchase right now. In other words, you might want to wait for either the Surface Go 5 or an 11-inch version of Surface Pro. The latter will probably be announced by MS in the next couple months and available next spring at the latest.
I would recommend the Lenovo Ideapad Duet with the i7 processor. It comes with the keyboard and the pen out of the box for about 1.100 euros. Already bought it. Of course it's also not made for gaming or video editing, but the price-performance ratio is a lot better here. I'm only a bit disappointed, because I can't turn of the screen without locking the netbook (this is a general Windows 11 problem) and the power button and the volume buttons are quit low on the right side, so it can't be hold easily without activating them sometimes. Also, the speakers are not that good as those of the surface devices - but still okay.
we need the arm surface go

Thank you so much for the support! Good to see that you're still happy with the go 1
Surface Go is a netbook but with touchscreen instead of a keyboard out of the box.
same keyboard works which is for go 1/2/3 ????

This would be great if it was a shrunk Surface Pro 11, cuz the bezels on this thing look like it's a Pro 7 and idk it's looking a but outdated
I completely agree! Those bezels don't look great. Especially because there are cheaper tablets with much thinner bezels

which surface pro would you recommend in the same price range instead?
Surface pro 7, 8 or 9.

Here is my surface go 1 review: ruclips.net/video/uMcPi1l2VmQ/видео.html
That is quite a strong Dutch accent. But at least you're not from Limburg.
