Doug has had a tremendous year, his output has been courageous, prophetic and wide ranging. Great man. Love and thanks to Moscow, Idaho from Britain. So great to see faith in action. The US has saved us, Britain has been awful and cowardly.

Very interesting! Very interesting... so hmmm.... that makes me rethink saying the pledge of allegiance as a Christian. Would you say it's wrong to say the pledge as it's the same as putting the pinch of incense to Cesar?

Caesar was seen as a god, and offering incense is an act of worship. I wouldn’t say it’s at all the same as the pledge of allegiance.

@Paul Harris a flag is not inherently an idol. It’s a symbol of your nation, and being patriotic is a Biblical attitude to have. Caring about your homeland is Biblical. America is certainly not the worst nation in the world. In its history and structure, it is one of the most Biblical to have ever existed. Thus, your comments would preclude anyone ever being patriotic for any country.

@Paul Harris you’re puffed-up, uncharitable, and unpleasant. See Romans 14. The Kingdom of God is not a matter of flags. There’s no benefit to lashing out at others about it.

The weird thing I find about this is Rome has moved from a ruler to a republic many time and many people knew not to see the Cesar as a god but as the head a state like we see cause so much change and history there

Bowing down to Ceasar is an option for many because they don't even know what's a foot. Christ followers and all other stripes. Pandemic smandemic it's all lies many knew it after the first month! But here we go again talking in an echo chamber. At least we know we are out there and I'm not talking tin foil hat wearing wack jobs just your average ordinary underpaid overwhelmed man or woman trying to live in peace on the straight and narrow road. God's peace and power for each day...I know I need it!
