I think it’s lovely just as it is. I’m new to Sashiko. I’ve been practicing for a few months now. I follow your videos and have learned so much. I hope some day to be an adequate stitcher. 🤞🏻 Thanks from Cody, Wyoming, USA.

That’s such a beautiful design, and goes to show how simple additions can make well recognised patterns into something completely new!
Would you try this again with a different background colour? Oddly enough, the blue underlaying colour from the fabric pen with the red on top looked very attractive as it was.

With a different background colour! It would be interesting!😊 I should definitely stitch this pattern again🧵🪡
Many Japanese traditional patterns are related to each other, yet they look completely different. So it’s not to hard to draw a pattern if you know the basic patterns and ideas😊

@@thegreenwrapper I’ve had a go at a few basic patterns and definitely want to try more in future. I love seeing the pattern appear as the layers of stitching are added

I keep marveling at your talents every time I see you do something different and am amazed at the patience you have drawing all these patterns, which I know I are not easy to do (at least for me). I just want to share with you an amazing day I had with family who took me to the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, California where there was a gorgeous Japanese garden and a Japanese Heritage Shoya house moved from Japan. So very interesting to learn about your culture. It was the best five hours I spent this week.

That’s wonderful😍 I just googled the Huntington Japanese garden. It’s so beautiful. It’s amazing how they brought the house there! It looks that they even have a beautiful stone garden❤️
It’s so nice to hear that you had a lovely day💕💕

Hi, thanks for the question❤️ They are circular templates from Clover. I think I bought them in Japan but you can probably find them on Amazon👍
