In this video, I marked at every 1.5cm vertically and every 3cm horizontally to create the triangle grid. The process of drawing the grid is the same as the tutorial video.

This pattern I stitched in this video has at least two names, 'Musubi-Kikkou' and 'Uroko-Guruma'.
(Some traditional patterns have multiple names due to their long history.)
If you are stitching on a single layer fabric, you can also stitch vertical lines and two directions of diagonal lines separately but all with the sequence of "stitch over 4 triangles and skip 2 triangles".
It's simpler but this may be a little bit more difficult for double layers.
