My camellias produce so many flower buds but only few of them will flower properly. Most of them just dry out. They are over 5 feet tall and are very healthy. I think they are getting too much of direct sunlight.
Over 5 feet tall, it is a small tree. You plant it in the pot or in the ground? Too much strong direct sunlight might be one reason, another thing I am thinking is whether you feed with enough fertilizers? Because camellia flowers really need a consistent feeding of fertilizers since blooming season is really long.
@@LAyangfamily I fertilize it with balanced NPK or diammonium phosphate once in a while and when our monsoon season ends (autumn) then I put potassium only fertilizer. So I don't think it is under nourished. And besides that the potting mix I used was rich in organic matter and compost.
@@chandraprasad1244 kind of you like to use high potassium fertilizers. I am wondering what's the reason? Did you think about why not using high phosphorus fertilizers? Even though you use many organic matters and compost.
