  • In todays video we add a X pipe to the true dual setup that I have on my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Trail boss 6.2! So now we have a duel exhaust with x pipe and 6x18" exhaust tips! Let me know what you think!

Personally I am one of the people that like quality over quantity with exhaust, so chops aren’t typically my thing but this setup with the x pipe really helped clean it up a lot and I love it. Can’t wait for more videos from my favorite RUclipsr

Nice! I just put an AFE delete pipe on mine. Sounds vicious, but I see what you mean about the droning. May end up going true duals sooner rather than later.
And for anyone curious, it really isn't much louder on idle and startup. At WOT, its beastly, but its not even as loud as my old V6 car was with a corsa muffler.

It pops now because other than your straights that sounded great already. Xpipe equalizes the sound for each pipe. Which raises volume for higher RPM. Smaller the exahust, 3 inch the more popping.

On my 2013 Silverado it has the rev limiter while in park also but if you put it in neutral it allows you to rev your engine to 5k. Wouldn’t hurt to give it a try and see if it works on your 6.2 for future sound clips.

Thank you for this video. I currently ordered that x pipe to add to my basically true duals with black widow mufflers. I say basically true duals because my catback came with a clamp that i looked at prior to install had a tiny hole in the center so it’s functioning like a hpipe at low rpm’s but the sound goes away at high rpms and definately sounds like true duals. Im hoping i get a noticeable change with the x pipe like you did. I had to send the first one back i ordered because it was suppose to be fully 3” and it necked down to 2.5 or less internally. 😡

Try the borla extreme the one they threw on the f150 5.0, sounds loud and nice asf on the Ford. Need to change to it up. Change that setup up to the dual in single out, throw catatonic converters back in so those who can’t delete them know what they are looking at. So much you can do with combinations that no one puts out that can and needs to be put out. On all three trucks…
