The shield barricade is your friend for the first two fazes, practically untouchable, and in the third you just need to shot it from afar, no need to get close, just stay on the platforms
I beat Nemesis first try. But he’s definitely the most visually stunning boss period. The scale, particle galore, beam frenzy, platform jumping among the vastness and of course the sound make it an exquisite choreography to behold!

05/18 update - beat the game and defeated the last two boss on my first attempt. Great game.

I just beat this boss and I’m not kidding when I say it was a way bigger rush than dark souls or Bloodborne ever gave me
The bosses in this game are so incredibly rewarding! I am not sure what it is about it but it feels great to watch them crumble
just finished it last night and i had the exact same feeling. the music, the visuals. how it makes use of the grappling hook mixed with the cosmic horror of lovecraftian inspired creatures floating around was just.. sensory overload. The boss got me to 1 hit away from death on the 2nd boss phase with no revives left and it had me on the edge of my seat all the way through! dark souls got close, but this was the peak for me. absolutely exhilirating.

When you have a full health bar and pick up a resin, that contributes to your integrity growing its max capacity! So if you play cautiously and maybe get some weapon with lifesteal you can manage to get your integrity bar like that!

I used the lmg for this that had the damage over time level two. He never stood a chance. 1st 2 stages where down before half the attack you seen. Really like the lmg.
Me too, still one of my favourites!
Using the Electropylon Driver, one with a straight-shot, not the pylon web, works best by far.
Once I found that, or the Rotgland Lobber, the entire game changed for me.
Some of the other guns may be more powerful, but each of these consistently drains an enemies health.
What if you just dash forward at 3:00 it looks like the projectiles are going towards the back only
The first time I did this boss fight I had the spitmaw and was able to do it first try lol

How are you healing yourself? And did you go through all 3 biomes upgrading your integrity before fighting him?
I left the first biome with 225%. The trick is to never pick up green health packs unless your bar is full. If you're full, they will start expanding. Use the ship to heal. I finished the entire forest and saved all the secret rooms, fabricators, and health packs until I was done. Then you can assess what you can afford. If you're lucky you'll find an upgrade to reduce the needed upgrade items for your health to 2. Then go pick them all up. I'd you get hurt, go to the ship.

I find that getting leech rounds allows me to have my health bar at full for most of the run, meaning all the silphium you find is resin. This B2 + B3

Actually this Boss was the EASIEST from the first 3 Bosses! I've almost killed it 1st time! But made 2nd try! I've just used 2 big health kits, and that's all! I didn't need my astronaut figure!
How the hell did u get 2 maxed integrity? I can barely get it to 1 full and a half
Full run from Biome 1, using the leech rounds to keep your health high to the Silphium you find is for increasing the bar!

That was the getting to the 3rd hour of a veeery long run. A couple parasites for max health and keeping my health at max so anytime You pick up any health items you are working towards an increased bar

Take your time on the citadel, the Rotland Lobber is incredible in that Biome!

@@danielzertuche7053 Not sure if your still stuck or not? You can pretty much run past everything in that biome. Look at the map check a few rooms ahead and just go for it :D. Don't stop to shoot anything unless you know you are safe (the robots etc), drones - run, those big angry slug things run. It may take you one or two runs but you can easily get to the end section without stopping to fight (open chests if safe, pick up health if safe. Near the end you have a big room - enter it, trigger the enemies and run back to the door and fire at anything approaching. Getting too close, back out of the room, open the door fire, close the door etc. Before the end boss there is a transporter that you can use and backtrack to the start use any coins you have for health upgrades. Skip level 1 and 2 and just practise 3 until you have a good idea what the lay out is - then do a careful run of 1 and 2 power up before number 3. Rotland Lobber is perfect (you can do a focused shot by half pulling the right trigger, use this when turning corners etc so you have a distance shot already to go).
I’m so pissed off. Did a run that took about 3 hours. 9 artefacts rank 15 weapon. Got boss to 5hp on last those and died. Worst part is, I had a shield but well, I accidentally used it because I’m a stupid idiot. Now I’m just playing out of frustration. Oh and I had 2 fi king massive health bars. Fucking great. Oh and I had a level 15 rocket launcher. I swear I’m gonna just admit I’m shit and move on.
How did you even get to this biome? I cant go 15 mins without dying

@@adamantiumrage a save and quit option likely won't help you get better at the game. It's on you to get better, through practice and lowering the difficulty.

For me this was the hardest boss
Nemesis is pretty tough!
I have recently gone through a beginning to end run and found it to be the toughest, maybe tied with Ixion
I just got to the 3rd biome and the power went out😂 I have no hopes in defeating nemesis if this keeps on happening

Definitely makes it easier! Go for a long run, check every room and get every enemy. Having your adrenaline high helps loads with how strong you’ll be at the end
Bro whether we should complete biome 1 and 2 completely? Or go directly to this biome?
The longer you play before a boss fight the stronger you will he when you get there! I like taking my time and carrying as many artifices as I can so I would say if you are struggling, play from biome 1!

My health is going up because of leech rounds which is a perk on the tachyomatic carbine!

You unlock it as any other perk, keep picking the gun up and RNG will give it to you at some point.

Leech rounds on a carbine is pretty much all I need to be happy with my run!

You can also use the damage siphon which will give you health for damage you deal out to the boss, this was really helpful for me.
@@brandonowilliams do we need to use consumable damage siphon? Or just keep to ourselves?

This boss is kicking my ass. Managed to get to the third stage but my god is is difficult even getting to the boss
man those stupid kamikaze drones in biome 3^^

@skibba for me it's the homing missles from the drones that kick my ass leading up to the boss. The suicide bombing robots are easy to avoid. This boss is pretty tough, I've died in the third phase twice now!

@@ItHadToBeDan yep second run was epic. This time I had a full auto rocket launcher BUT wasn't dodging well and on phase 3 I got in face with critical hp...screen was blinking red. He blew up my platform and I was falling to my death. My heart sank as it was a 4 hour run...but then I pop the slow time consumable...reload as I'm falling and frantically fire rockets into his chest blowing his $@&! up. OMG did I scream with excitement. Wish I would have been recording. What an epic way to take him down!
Now do people have so much health and weapon proficiency at this point. Do you guys attempt every room and every lost signal and don't take any shortcuts? Serious question lol
That’s on the money. Sweep every room, keep your adrenaline high for the proficiency bonus and pick up every obolite so you can get goodies and that’s it!

Do you think it's worth fighting all the elites that when you interact with other players corpses? Or the ones in the star rooms?
Doing Biome 1 and 2 fully is the best way as your powered up. You don't need to though but it just makes it easier, you can skip from 1 straight to 3 by using the grappling hook to the large door. The start of lvl 3 gives you your gun boost to 9 or 10 and a health potion, you can then just run through most of that level without stopping to kill anything. Stop to pick up chests, guns, health and kill easy targets only. Once at the end you can teleport back to the start where you can buy health etc. By then your level is normally a bit higher so you can then either take it easy doing the biome or just teleport back to the boss room. The Lobber gun is great. Not sure if you know but a few things that may make it easier for you - Goto your settings and change the HUD to large/thick - this makes hitting the reload (Overcharge) easier, I found that changing the Dash to the R1 Button (Instead of the O key) so much easier so your not moving you hand from the trigger to dash.
Such an amazing game. Frustratingly addictive.
@@brianp9483 thanks I'll try the HUD setting, anyway have R1 mapped. Last time I played (since my last comment) I had my best run yet but still died at Nemesis phase 3 aha. I've actually gotten pretty good except for that last room before the boss (with the 2 mechs) just kills my health. I'll run past it. Normally I don't do that in games but I've died so many damn times on this level I'm fed up lmao.
One thing I started doing was Avenging other players, before I thought they were too draining on my resources but after dying 54 times in total, they're actually quite a breeze and provide enough ether to power me up even more. Should've done them from the start lol.
You got hit enough to be in danger in this video from my experience. I didn't see any items to regen health and somehow you had a level 15 weapon on this attempt. Was this a multiple hour run or something? You barely took damage when hit and had regen. I don't get it when getting hit takes 1/4 of my health bar in my play-throughs. None of these tips are helpful when the actual gameplay looks like you had some sort of uber build or an alpha build of the game.
Yep pretty much. Max proficiency and health leech from his carbine will make any boss fight a breeze to go thru. But at least you can take some of his positioning advice to help you out with your run.
Pro tip dont use the sidearm for this😒

Hollowseeker does have less DPS but the way it allows you to hold fire and focus on survival has its place!
@@ItHadToBeDan I beat him using the Rotgland Lobber (Level 15) pretty easily. This gun worked well for me anyway.
Hollow seeker is my favorite weapon but it didn’t work against this boss at all, This game is tough
Hollow seeker is not the best against bosses, I usually like running it until the last room and then picking something else up!
This boss is annoying me like anything 😭 to reach him alone is challenging
